Greenbelt has provided an extremely disappointing service at Gough Close, North Leigh. Despite steadily increasing charges, the standard of maintenance has been consistently poor, with dead trees left unreplaced for months, weeds overtaking communal areas, and repeated complaints resulting in little more than excuses and delays.

Customer care acknowledged these issues as far back as October 2024, yet meaningful action was still outstanding many months later. To make matters worse, while we were actively disputing the level of service, our account was referred to the debt recovery unit before the underlying concerns had been addressed. Residents are expected to pay ever-increasing fees for a service that is largely invisible and falls well below what has been promised.

As soon as the first opportunity arises to pursue a residents vote, we will be seeking a more capable and reputable organisation.

Many thanks to Greenbelt Group for the generous donation of £500 to East Leake Village Hall. The hall is run by volunteer Trustees on behalf of the village. Donations such as this contribute hugely to our ability to maintain the hall to a safe standard for the many groups and individuals in the village who use it. Once again many thanks from the Trustees of the hall.

I phoned Greenbelt to say a fence in our estate was damaged. Less than 2 hours later they sent someone out to repair it and it looks good as new. Great service.

The customer care agent was amazing and helped greatly. They were superb in understanding the concerns I had and resolving them all.

Greenbelt are about to take over management of our Close. We had a site meeting hosted by Nick Upton. In the meeting he informed us that we have a Suds system in our Close and that was the reason we had soak aways around the Close. As we have the Suds system he suggested that we contact Anglian Water as we should not be charged for surface water collection. So in the back of this I did contact Anglian Water and after a few emails back and forth they have now come back to me saying they agree we have a Suds system and we should never of been charged for Surface Water collections. The result is I have received a refund for all the years I have been here and going forward I will not have Surface Water charged to my account
So it’s a great start by Nick and Greenbelt

I have just been reading some reviews about this company after leaving my review.
All the good reviews we're aimed at lots of different "staff" on the many many occasions that I have either phoned or emailed my concerns I was only able to speak.to the same person never able to speak to her superior.
I think she was working from.home.

Jeanette was very helpful and enabled me to set up a direct debit over 10 months which will be much better. The call was quick and efficient, with my issue resolved.

I phoned Greenbelt to ask if it was ok to install a timber strut in a communal shrub bed to support a length of fence which was swaying in the wind. As the fence backs onto my garden, I will have to pay for the replacement fence should it fail. David Condon was so helpful and came back to me within the hour having spoken to the operations manager and advised I had permission providing there was no damage to the shrub bed. He also followed it up with an email confirming permission had been granted. I really appreciated this as it allows me to take preventative action and hopefully delay the cost of replacing the fence.
