Book was meant to arrive within 5 days, a week and a half later i contacted them and they told me they'd ship another copy
After 27 days without EITHER of the books arriving, I made a request for a refund which still has not been answered
Avoid

Wanted to buy a book as a gift for someone and later found out they want another gift. So I cancelled the order 15 minutes after placing it.

I received a reply from Tina from Greener Books confirming they cancelled my order but when I checked my bank statement, I only got a partial refund and they still charged me.

Wrote them an e-mail asking about this but they never replied back. Fortunately my bank helped me with this and I received my money back.

Stay away from them. Not to be trusted.

I have had occasion to place 2 x orders from this company.
On both occasions the orders did not arrive.
I was immediately refunded on both occasions but what is the point if their courier is useless or they don’t despatch the items?

Do not buy used books from these people. I have just bought a book and the majority of the pages are falling out from the spine.

Excellent and generous service and extremely helpful. I mistakenly ordered a hardback copy when I wanted a paperback copy, not only did they kindly offer to send me out the paperback instead, but suggested I donate the hardback to charity instead of returning it. I would highly recommend!

Purchased through Amazon uk and had a delivery issue (I live in Romania). Contacted customer care via email, received a reply within hours and the issue was sorted by the extremely helpful and professional Tina Adams.

The customer service at Greener Books is exceptional. Their prompt replies are always helpful and polite, and they went above and beyond to resolve my enquiry. I highly recommend their service, and I look forward to purchasing with them again.

I ordered the Alpine Journal 2020 from Greener Books last week, which duly arrived on time & in excellent condition. However (my fault entirely), I realised on arrival that the particular article I wanted was in fact in the 2019 edition. Contacted Tina Adams in Customer Service, who immediately dispatched the 2019 book, & trusted me to return the 2020 one in my own time (which I have done).

The 2019 book duly arrived today - in the same 'virtually as new' condition as the other one. Really excellent, prompt customer service - many thanks.

It said'good condition' but my book arrived completely dog-eared and well worn! I am cross because I treat books with respect and expected the description to be HONEST not dishonest! If its dog- eared, then say so!! I didnt expect immaculate, but I expected better for the price. Next time I will NOT use this site. I buy and use lots of children's books, so am very disappointed.

suspiciously large volume of books 'lost' in the post in these reviews. Personally still waiting for a delivery - not a particularily complicated transaction - wrap book, post book to correct address.

My book failed to arrive and I have tried repeatedly to get my full refund back. Part was paid but the balance continues to be outstanding. It’s now the principle not the money. Very poor an ill not use them again. This is now across two months

Seeing the negative reviews for this seller I have to say that the book I ordered arrived within 4 days. It is in much better condition than I expected. £4.44 including p&p for an 800 page book that retailed at £25 leaves me a very happy customer. Credit where credit is due.

They had the 1975 edition of the book I’ve been looking for, for ever so long. No issues with deliveries whatsoever.

Book never arrived. Sender blamed royal mail for late or lost delivery. Personally I blame them for their incompetence for posting (apparently) it without any tracking information - its included after all!

Just received my delivery from Greener books via eBay. Listed as a set of 14 books, I received one book from the set. Very misleading. I read similar previous bad reviews but decided foolishly to give them a go . Save your time money and show elsewhere.

Book didn't arrive. Greener books blamed Royal Mail for non-delivery. Not convinced as RM is really reliable and from previous reviews on here, it looks as if at least half of orders from Greener Books aren't delivered. I think I know where the fault lies.

I ordered this book to recapture a small part of my childhood and was excited to see I would be buying a 1968 edition of the book, in the full knowledge that my childhood book would have actually been an earlier version.
I was gutted to see that the book was a 1990 reprint and I would never have ordered this book as the cover artwork reflects a much more modern age.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!
