Don’t rent from them ever

Don’t rent from them ever! Customer service is awful. The car was old tired scratched and the woman when I returned it wanted to charge me for a scratch that existed. They are unpleasant rude and the car unacceptable. DONT EVER RENT from them

Do not rent from these people!

I needed a van for 7 people. There were 3 options: two 7-seater vans with a manual gearbox and one 9-seater with automatic gearbox. I booked the more expensive 9-seater option to have an automatic gearbox. When I arrived, the person told me that I had booked a manual van, because it was clear that the voucher had an L reservation (as if this means manual or automatic) and if I wanted an automatic car, I should pay extra. When I showed him that I had chosen the automatic option on the website, he confirmed that this was the case, but insisted that the voucher had an L-marking. I will not go into details about taking 1-hour to pickup a car with an existing reservation, the fact that they had marked fuel as 6/8 when it was 3/8 (changed it after my remark). Clearly, an embarrassment to locals and tourists alike.

Das System lÀsst die Buchung mit unterschiedlichen Namen einfach durchlaufen, ohne einen deutlichen Warnhinweis zu geben.
Anstatt den Kunden bei der Buchung darauf hinzuweisen, wird man vor Ort eiskalt abgezockt. In meinen Augen ist das eine bewusste Masche, um ExtragebÃŒhren zu kassieren. Absolut nicht kundenfreundlich!“

The car was the worst I hired in 20 years, the service was slow and I was charged extra on returning the car. I arrived at the office at 9.41 and was given the car at 10 when my booking was for. I had booked the car for 8 days and indicated the drop-off time as 4pm. I returned just before 6pm and was told that my hire ended at 4 and there was a charge of 28 euros. I wanted to pay cash to avoid the charge from the supervisor that I needed to go find a petrol station and change my 50 euro note as they were unable to give me change. Needless to say that im never hiring a car from them again

Paid, never received the car, and later found documents I never signed

I had a very serious and extremely disturbing experience with Green Motion Athens Airport.

I made a reservation, arrived in Athens, and was taken by a Green Motion representative from the airport to their office. At the desk, I was asked to pay additional charges before receiving the car: €750 deposit and €390 for full insurance. I paid these amounts.

After that, they showed me a vehicle in unacceptable condition. I refused to take it. I was never given the keys, I never took possession of the vehicle, and I never drove it. I immediately asked for my money back, but they refused.

Because I was left without transportation, I had to go back to the airport and rent another vehicle from a different company at my own expense.

The most shocking part came later: during my dispute with the bank, Green Motion provided documents with a signature that is not mine. They submitted paperwork that I had never seen and never signed. In my view, this is a very serious matter involving forged signature and false documentation.

I have already reported this to the police regarding the falsification of my signature and the unlawful taking of my money.

My experience was not just bad customer service - it was a deeply alarming situation that I consider fraudulent. I strongly advise others to be extremely careful.

Unproffessional and misleading

Die Erfahrung war einfach nur schrecklich. Es fing damit an, dass der Mitarbeiter am Schalter unfreundlich war und mir dann einen Nissan Note einer niedrigeren Fahrzeugklasse (Kleinwagen statt Kompaktwagen) gab. Auf Nachfrage log er und behauptete, es sei ein Kompaktwagen. Anschließend verlangte er eine viel höhere Versicherungskaution als im Vertrag vereinbart (992 statt 200 Euro). Das Auto war in einem schlechten Zustand und sehr laut. Bei der RÃŒckgabe des Wagens, obwohl ich eine Vollkaskoversicherung ohne Selbstbeteiligung abgeschlossen hatte (also keine Zahlung leisten musste), bestand man darauf, dass ich die Reparaturkosten fÃŒr Kratzer selbst tragen mÃŒsse. Der Mitarbeiter am Schalter weigerte sich, die vereinbarten Mietbedingungen einzuhalten, als hÀtte ich nichts unterschrieben (ein Mitarbeiter fragte mich sogar: „Haben Sie eine Versicherung?“, als ob er die Vertragsbedingungen nicht kennen wÃŒrde 
 Àußerst unprofessionell!). WÀhrend ich mit dem Kundenservice des Portals telefonierte, bei dem ich den Vertrag abgeschlossen hatte, sagte deren Mitarbeiter dem Angestellten, ich mÃŒsse nichts bezahlen, da es sich um eine Versicherung ohne Selbstbeteiligung handele. Der Angestellte verstand das nicht und bestand auf der Zahlung. Eine Àußerst negative Erfahrung. Ich werde diesen Service nie wieder nutzen und ihn auch niemandem empfehlen.

Juste des arnaqueurs professionnels ! Fuyez !

Nous sommes tombés en panne de pompe à essence un samedi à 11h dans un petit village du sud PéloponnÚse. L’assistance, uniquement via.Whatsapp, essayait de nous dire que la panne était un problÚme de batterie (à charge du client dans les conditions) alors que la voiture démarrait puis calait. DÚs 13h, plus personne ne nous répondait. Aucune nouvelle durant 2 jours. Un garagiste est venu le samedi soir et un véhicule de remplacement a été fourni le dimanche soir sans aucune nouvelle de la journée. Nous avons dû dormir 2 nuits à l’hÃŽtel dans ce village. Nous avons fait une réclamation pour une prise en charge de nos frais d’hÃŽtel, sans réponse. L’organisme Auto Europe nous a aidé pour obtenir gain de cause. Ils ont menti en invoquant que la panne était un manque d’essence donc de notre faute ! Menteurs ! Heureusement nous avions pris une photo du tableau de bord lors de la panne avec le niveau d’essence. Nous avons obtenu remboursement par Auto Europe aprÚs 7 mois ! Fuyez Green Motion !

Avoid - cheating and faking your signatures!

When returning the car in Corfu Airport the Green Motion staff tried to cheat me for 400 EUR suggesting that I made scratches to back bumper which was already damaged when renting the car. After I refused to acknowledge the damage and presented pictures from the day of collecting the car and refused to pay, they charged me with my full deposit of 1.6k EUR trough faking my signatures on collection report. Pls avoid them as much as you can!

I have rented in Jan 2026

I have rented in Jan 2026, a 2017 Nissan Micra. Although it had only 30k kilometers on the clock, it looked like a 330k kilometer car. Everything was sqeezing, a red ligh for low tyre pressure was always on despite the checks that showed normal pressure. Employees do not know what they sell. I had an accident and despite the fact that I had full insurance they were telling me to pay 200 eur for damage. Then they make it loss of use + administration fee. They also tried to characterise part of the damage as underbody damage and pay extra. They do not issue legal invoices for the excess. So practically, it is impossible to claim back the amount for any third party insurance. They allow 150 km per day, except if you book online for more than 3 days. Many silly exceptions and rules that practically are built to charge you. My advice? pick sth else.

Ich wollte vor ein bisschen lÀnger ÃŒber einem Jahr in Kayseri ein Auto mieten und habe es im Vorhinein ÃŒber Booking.com bezahlt. Vorort hat es dann geheißen, dass ich die Kaution nur mit Kreditkarte zahlen konnte. Da ich keine hatte wollten sie mir das Auto nicht geben. Meine Mitreisenden hÀtten eine Kreditkarte gehabt, aber nicht einmal das hatten sie akzeptiert. Das Absurdeste daran ist ich hab nicht nur kein Auto bekommen, sondern sie haben sich das Geld auch noch behalten !!!

Betrug mit minderwertigen Mietwagen

Ich hatte (Ìber CHECK24) vom 27.09.-06.10.2025 am 28.01.2025! bei Green Motion Flughafen Chania einen Suzuki Jimny gebucht (4x4 Allrad). Bei der Abholung wurde mir nur eine Limousine Suzuki Vitara (ohne Allrad!) angeboten. Als ich auf meine Bestellung (zumindest gleichwertig) bestand, wurde ich damit abgefertigt, dass kein anderes Auto vorhanden sei und ich dieses nehmen, oder es sein lassen soll. Da es am Samstag 19:00 Uhr war und ich mein Hotel noch erreichen musste biss ich in den sauren Apfel und nahm (unter Protest) dieses Auto. Noch am gleichen Tag legte ich bei CHECK24 Beschwerde ein. Es erfolgte ein langes Prozedere (bis Januar 2026) in welchem der Vermieter unter fadenscheinigen GrÌnden immer wieder meine Ersatzforderungen ablehnte und mir CHECK24 auch nicht zu meinem Recht verhalf. Ich muss konstatieren, dass ich von Green Motion bewusst betrogen worden bin, da sie mir fÌr einen höheren Mietpreis ein minderwertigeres Auto zur VerfÌgung gestellt haben und sich der von ihnen angebotene und vermietete Suzuki Jimny gar nicht in der Mietwagenflotte am Flughafen Chania befindet.

professional thieves

My goodness! Stay a way from those guys! All of them at that office are small time professional thieves!
Andreas, Antonis and the rest, all of them; they will lie, they will find the way to cheat you and at the end they will treat you like a disposable customer no matter what and all of the above while staying cool!! I am working in the same type of business and I know the in and outs- if I was their manager I would have fire them on the spot, all of them. . but I am not!
Not worth the one star review I’m giving them!

PS If you pay the hidden deposit you will never see it again! They will find a way to steal it from you.

Loueur qui ne prend pas la peine de


Loueur qui ne prend pas la peine de vous donner un duplicata de l’ état du véhicule. Au retour prétend que je suis reponsable d’ une rayure sur la carrosserie. Heureusement j’ ai pris des images de l’état au départ qui prouvent le contraire. Mauvaise expérience. Je déconseille.
