the food was good and it was relaxing best chinese food i have ever ate 5 stars would come again

We went to this restaurant in New Year day 2025 for dinner. We ordered a seafood clay plot which is priced quite dearly for more than £20. To our surprise the normal size clay pot arrived less than half full. There are only about three shrimps and three pieces of squid along with some other food varieties inside this pot. We were very disappointed. Even our small daughters said we were close to being scammed. The food tasted quite good but it cannot outweigh this restaurant's being so mean in the amount of food it offers and therefore I give it only 1 star. We will never go to this restaurant again next time when we are in London China Town.

I visited Haozhan Chinese Restaurant Chinatown Soho for a take-out on 31/10/2024.

I ordered a roast duck on boiled rice and a portion special fried rice.

The portion sizes are good and the duck on boiled rice was quite nice, but the special fried rice, I would describe as pretty average.

I decided to have a take out, but noticed the seating area was very busy and lively.

The thing about Chinatown is the great atmosphere and this restaurant is located in the heart of a busy bustling area, so if you do visit Chinatown, you'll have more than fifty restaurants to choose from along Lisle Street, Gerrard Street and Shaftesbury Avenue, so definitely worth a visit.
