Really great course with a lot of useful information both in the classes and online to reflect back on. We really enjoyed the social aspect and meeting other new parents to be. Cannot recommend it enough!

A really well thought out and informative course. A lot of time is allowed for socialising with other soon to be parents which is what we wanted out of the course. The trainers were lovely and knowledgable and made everyone feel at ease.

I was recommend happy parent happy baby, by friends of mine and I’m so glad I decided to take their advice. We went from know nothing about raising a baby to being so much more prepared to look after a small person. Not only that but it is given me a community and hopefully friends that will last throughout my child’s life the course leaders were insightful with their knowledge and didn’t judge anyone’s decisions or questions. The information you learn, especially doing the first aid course is invaluable. I also really enjoyed that it was a lot more casual than a traditional NCT class. Would highly recommend to all.

The Happy Parents. Happy Baby. Antenatal Classes helped me and my husband build on our knowledge on topics from birth, baby care, to first aid.
It has given us more confidence entering into the next chapter of our lives. All the midwifes and experts providing guidance did so in an informative but friendly and supportive way!

It was lovely taking part in the August Happy Parents Happy Baby Antenatal classes in Newcastle and the experience was worth the fee.
We had real trouble trying to find any Antenatal/NCT sessions for this time of year for some reason and HPHB were very accomodating.
The in-person location was central so participants were able to attend from the surrounding areas and it gave my husband and I a chance to chat with people who were at a similar stage of pregnancy to us.
Our course leader was easy going, informative and helpful and each session was led with patience, humour and open discussion.
The online study material, coupled with the weekly in-person practical sessions and followed up with an online Q&A session the following day meant that no stone was left unturned and we were able to return to any elements that we needed further clarification on.
At the end of the course, HPHB organised a social evening for everyone which was well attended and gave us all a chance to sit, chat and discuss our experiences in a more relaxed setting.
Our group WhatsApp group has also been useful for recommending helpful pregnancy items, sharing information and for keeping in touch once the little ones started to arrive.

Really enjoyed the course. Very nice presenters and they really went the extra mile to give detailed information and answer any questions.

It was great to meet like minded people who are going through exactly what you’re going through. Having a midwife talk you through everything that’s going to happen without judgement

This course covered so much good and helpful information in detail with much enthusiasm and was really enjoyable. We went in with no expectations apart and we left with so much knowledge about both birth, caring for our expected baby and with some wonderful new friends in the same situation as ourselves. We couldn’t have asked for more, no question was too silly and everything was taught in a really relaxed and fun way to make it exciting and enjoyable whilst also learning invaluable information that we are now able to put into practice! The classes were so informative covering all the basics you'd need to know with further support and resources available online. We loved that the sessions were in a relaxed pub setting making it a brilliant way to meet other soon to be parents that live locally. We now have an amazing network of support on our door step which will be invaluable as we navigate being parents for the first time. Would highly recommend!

We recently completed the Happy Parents Happy Baby classes and couldn’t recommend them more highly. The course content was excellent, clear, evidence based, and truly empowering. Rather than being told what we “should” do, we gained the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions that feel right for our family.

Another wonderful aspect was the community. It was great to meet other expectant parents, especially since we are moving to the area soon. The classes gave us not only valuable insights into parenthood but also the chance to start building connections with local families.

Overall, Happy Parents Happy Baby provided both practical tools and a supportive environment that left us feeling prepared and excited for the journey ahead.

Had such a wonderful experience with the happy parents happy baby classes in Worthing which was taught by Amy.
As first time parents, I was reluctant to research about baby care and labour online (unless it was the nhs website) due to so much false and overwhelming information. By signing up to the classes, so many topics were covered and taught by a midwife, I was really able to absorb the information and ask questions easily and judgement free. Online classes and Q&A were also accessible throughout the weeks which also put my mind at ease incase I did forget anything.
There were small interactive sections of the sessions which you would do with the other people on the course, this helped us to meet new friends at very similar gestational ages which is lovely because both my partner and I didn’t have any close friends with young children.
Highly recommend for all pregnant people and birthing partners who would like to socialise with others who are expecting, and who want reliable and in-depth information about labour and baby care/first aid.

Excellent course, both in the delivery and the content. The face to face weekly sessions, paired with the online weekly FAQ sessions with trained professionals was great. Would highly recommend to any parents to be.

We attended the Happy Parents. Happy Baby. antenatal classes in Swindon with Sally, and it was a fantastic experience. Sally was amazing – incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and friendly. She created a welcoming environment where we felt comfortable asking questions and learned so much valuable information to prepare us for birth and parenthood. We left each session feeling more confident and reassured. Highly recommend these classes to any expecting parents!

We were part of the Guildford class at the Townhouse (Coppa Club) and the venue was great. The content of the course was great, the teachers were so knowledgable and made you feel comfortable to ask any questions that you may have.

The classes are quite large so you get to meet lots of different people in different situations and hopefully we’ve made friendships that will last a long time. Being new to the area, HPHB have definitely made us feel as though we have people to lean on as we enter this new chapter of our lives.

Can’t fault the whole experience really! We loved it.

Perfect blend of information and social side. We went in to the course blind, came out reassured and ready to tackle parenthood. The midwife who led the course, Gemma, was kind, realistic & very knowledgeable and was able to clearly, concisely and thoroughly answer all questions. Most importantly for us, we have had the opportunity to build a local support network with the other local families.

My husband and I went on the happy Parents happy baby course August 2025. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The in person classes are really good, the instructors are lovely welcoming and friendly and full of knowledge. The online content prior to the session is so informative I enjoyed watching the videos before class to ensure I was informed before the in person session, which helped with knowing what questions I had.
The videos are really easy to follow and it’s great that the content is available for 6 months too… I’m sure we will be dipping in and out of the videos once baby is with us.
The live sessions were also fantastic I only connected live once to the hypnobirthing video.. which was really wonderful doing lots of relaxation meditations. Within the video they were able to answer all my questions and were extremely knowledgeable.
The other videos I watched afterwards, and found them to be really helpful.
Throughout the course I felt so supported and learnt so much.
We had a lovely group of parents on the course and have made some connections and friendships already.
Highly recommend doing this course you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful experience, learned so much during these classes and Gemma was very kind, understand, she listened and explained everything really well. I loved the practical classes as it was good to visualise everything.

Gemma was also great and getting us all to mingle, I find it difficult to chat to strangers but she made it really easy and I’ve even made some friends from the class.

I would recommend these classes to everyone.

Overall this was a brilliant course. I did have initial reservations relating to the amount of sessions versus the cost however, I can confidently say that it was absolutely worth the money. The email literature, advice and examples of families with positive birth stories has been extremely helpful. The face to face course was good fun and equally informing. It was a session to share ideas and thoughts but equally you can take from it what you feel suits you as a family. The added online sessions were helpful and equally good as they are uploaded for you to view at a later date. This is quite useful if you’re busy with work, etc. Generally you can make the course work around you. Overall I would recommend this course to any new parents and families having more children.
