Really lovely experience, definitely worth doing, we learned more than expected. Particularly liked that the course is midwife led. We had Aimee do the in-person sessions, who was extremely knowledgable, friendly and engaging. The online portal and resources you get are really valuable too.

I really enjoyed the classes. My partner and I found them very informative and it helped us have conversations regarding our birth experience and how to approach parenting in the future. Sophie our teacher was so hospitable and made us feel comfortable immediately. She answers all our questions big and small and there was no judgment at all. I would highly recommend.

Well organised, friendly. Included first aid. Our midwife Reagan was fantastic, very knowledgable and approachable. There was pre-reading before each session so you could be better prepared.

We really enjoyed the Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal course. It struck the perfect balance between evidence-based information and practical, real-world advice. The team made everything easy to understand and were great at answering questions without judgment. We came away feeling much more confident and prepared for what’s ahead. Highly recommend.

My husband and I learned so much in this course, both from the really helpful online content and seminars and of course from our in person instructor. We really enjoyed this course and feel much more at ease and excited about welcoming our first daughter. I found the content and course leader really professional but also approachable, all of our questions were answered and we have peace of mind that we can access the learning materials online even after the in person sessions have ended.

Really pleased that we took the antenatal classes with HPHB. It’s been brilliant to have hands on classes with an amazing midwife and teacher, as well as meet so many other couples who we will definitely stay in contact with. The more informal setting really helps bring a social aspect to the classes, whilst providing so much important information to help us prepare for birth and the early newborn weeks. Would highly recommend.

Teacher was amazing, knowledgable and ensured all perspectives were covered. Course material was great and easy to use, the birth preference sheet was so good our midwife wanted a copy so they can ask some questions as it was so thorough.

Happy parents, happy baby was the perfect fit for us as first time parents! With a carefully curated curriculum, we felt empowered and informed before heading into the world of newborn life. Knowing all of the resources are still available online for us to refer back to has helped put my mind at ease during those moments where (inevitably) we found ourselves asking questions!
Best of all, we have formed a community of like-minded new parents.

My husband and I really enjoyed the HPHB antenatal classes. The instructor made them fun and engaging while also making sure we were confident with all of the content. The weekly online webinars and extra video tutorials were extremely useful and great to go back over. The practical element to the weekly in person sessions was very useful; we would definitely have struggled had we not done this course.
It was lovely to meet lots of other couples due to have their babies at a similar time to us and we will meet up with them at the reunion in January and hopefully stay in touch beyond that.
My mum has even done the grandparents course!

These classes were really informative for all aspects of birth and baby and it has been lovely to have a group of local mum and dad friends! The midwives running the course had a wealth of knowledge and it was great to have an informal atmosphere to ask as many questions as we wanted, alongside other nervous new parents! Highly recommend!

We were in the Tonbridge September cohort and we loved our time with HPHB! We felt the online material was useful, the in-person 2 hour weekly sessions very detailed and fun! We are new to the area so also a great opportunity to meet new friends :) thanks HPHB for facilitating great workshops!

My partner and I found the whole HPHB experience extremely helpful as we prepared to become new parents. The classes and videos were super helpful and our instructor made each session fun but informative. We now feel ready to take on what lies ahead and have a wonderful group of other parents to share it with. I’d recommend HPHB to anyone expecting a little one.

We had such a brilliant experience with Happy Parents Happy Baby! Our teacher, Bex was absolutely fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. She answered every question we had and made the sessions super informative without ever feeling overwhelming.

The activities were great for getting to know other parents-to-be, and we’ve actually kept in touch with everyone from our group - we still meet up regularly! It’s been such a lovely way to build a support network of people going through the same stage of life.

I’d recommend Happy Parents Happy Baby to anyone looking for a warm, supportive, and genuinely helpful antenatal class.

A brilliant course that covered a wide range of topics to help prepare for baby’s arrival! The classes were engaging and informative, with a relaxed but professional approach. It was a great opportunity to meet other local families. Helped my husband and I feel more prepared and supported.

We really enjoyed our HPHB course. It was informative, unbiased and a great way to meet lots of other lovely parents to be in our area. We would have liked a session or two more but all the extra videos and live sessions were really useful.

Our classes were fantastic, very informative but also hands on and fun. Heather our midwife was super friendly and helped us all settle in and learn all the practical elements but also introduced us to all the other amazing parents to be. We’ve made a wonderful group of friends and a support network thanks to these classes.

I would give 10 stars if I could. As first time parents we really were in the dark when it came to becoming new parents. HPHB not only gave us the practical information but also the opportunity to ask all the questions we had. The sessions are brilliantly planned and thought through, have brilliant experts to hand along the way, cover all the areas you need to make you feel empowered to make the choices you need to make along this crazy journey. We also liked they are held in nice pubs, makes it feel a little less daunting. Thank you for giving us the best start to parenthood!

I should start by saying that the midwife that ran our class was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, very kind, happy to answer any questions, she was brilliant.

The online portal is also good.

The issue we had was with the company and how it sets up the classes. We had 16 couples in our class which was way too many.

You didn’t actually get chance to know anyone because you never spent any time with the same couple. There weren’t enough materials provided for this number either - in a group exercise of three couples, we only had one worksheet for various exercises which could’ve been okay but, because of the group size, we had no time to actually share the worksheet.

The final issue was the “celebration” where it turns out they hadn’t actually booked somewhere for us, they had just announced a location for us to turn up at and sort out.

If the class size was halved, the classes could’ve been great, I just wish HPHB had prioritised the parent’s experience over money.

We had a very good experience with Happy Parents Happy Baby. As a gay couple doing surrogacy (so a different pregnancy journey than most), we originally weren't sure if we would feel out of place, but we have felt so included by everyone. Our midwife instructor was so kind and knowledgeable, and we were really happy that the class included infant CPR. We've just welcomed our son into the world a few days ago and we've already put much of what we learned into use! And we're looking forward to continuing to benefit from the community that HPHB has helped us to form.
