Instructed Harris + Harris, Frome branch to act on the conveyancing of two properties. Both ran into issues resulting in me having to contact the partners.
The major issue was the failure to inform us of a covenant which they became aware of a couple of weeks after we instructed them. They witheld the information until they issued their report which was months later and 2 weeks before exchange. By this time we had paid for a costly survey and our fees with them were due.
They prevented us from making an informed choice early in the process. If we had been informed about the covenant at the time they found out. We would not have bought the property. Costly for us and lots of stress and may effect our resale value!

Moving home is always stressful. Ben Monksummers manages to take away most of this stress. He will achieve in 3 weeks what most solicitors fail to in 3 months. Communication is superb, value for money unparalleled.
If only "the other side" could be as efficient
