Fantastic bespoke service!
Popped into the showroom a couple of months ago, staff were friendly and knowledgeable answering all my questions regarding a bespoke unit I was looking for.
Delivery was quick (over a week early!) and the drivers were polite and courteous. Communication was great from the girls there and Iâll definitely be returning in the future.

Beware The Vanity Units
I purchased a vanity unit 3 years ago, however a couple of months ago I noticed damage to the paintwork on the middle rail. I contacted HG customer services was advised at the time I made my purchase there was no 10 year warranty as there is now. I sent photographs at their request, they said they would repair the damage which I was very grateful for. The first repairman came out with a new middle rail, colour didnât match, 2 weeks later the repair was completed. However at this time myself and the repairman discovered further paint damage the repairman was unsure if he should try to touch up the damage paint, however he did do so. I contacted customer services who advised me to send photographs of this damage which I did on 1st May 2025, stating I considered all the paint damage was either a manufacturing/paint issue and I was concerned further damage will occur over time. On 12 May 2025 I had not received a response I sent a further email. I received a response on 14 May their conclusion to the damage is a result of water damage caused by high levels of moisture in the bathroom and is not related to a manufacturing issue. I responded on 15 May 2025 regarding their conclusion, stating I found their conclusion bizarre from photographs alone no visit from the Technical Department or the Production Manager, no moisture metre was used by the repairman. Also there is no moisture/water damage throughout the bathroom which is fully tiled. HG advertise these expensive units for use in a bathrooms in fact on my Instagram feed the advert states VANITY UNITS ARE MADE FROM MOISTURE RESISTANT HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS. I have yet to see a bathroom that is free from water or moisture. It is the 4 June 2025 20 days since my last email disputing their ridiculous conclusion to the damage and I have yet to receive any response. I would not recommend Harvey George as I feel their vanity units are not fit for purpose together with not responding to emails in a timely manners. Beware!!!
UPDATE
just to clarify HGâs response to my review.
On 16 June I contacted HG regarding their response asked to speak with a manager, after two calls someone eventually contacted me but was unable to help, therefore someone else would ring me.
On 18 June I had two phone calls from the Production Manager I explaining to him that the language used was insulting and wrong in their response â MISUSE AND INAPPROPRIATE CAREâ together with inaccuracies within their response.
1. Offering a waterproof option - NO MENTION OF THIS ON THEIR WEBSITE - NO OPTION WHEN ORDERING ON THEIR WEBSITE - I WAS NEVER OFFERED THIS OPTION OR ANY DISCUSSION IF I HAD HIGH LEVELS OF MOISTURE IN THE BATHROOM, WHICH I DO NOT HAVE. Why do they have this if as they say their furniture is suitable for bathrooms?
2. Recommend proper ventilation - NOTHING ON THEIR WEBSITE - NO INFORMATION INCLUDED WITH DELIVERY.
3. Furniture requires regular maintenance and protection from prolonged moisture exposure - AGAIN NO MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN ON DELIVERY. Again these vanity units they state are suitable for bathrooms.
Over two phone calls that day discussion took place over the insulting language of misuse and inappropriate care, I was told it was not meant to be insulting yet he was not able to give me a satisfactory answer why those words were used when it was wrong and there had been NO misuse or inappropriate care which in a round about way he agreed it was wrong to use this language. Moisture levels again were discussed again I disputed high levels of moisture was the cause and maintained poor manufacturing/paint was the cause. I requested that HG should edit their response to reflect the truth. The 2nd phone call he said â If you remove your review HGâs review will automatically be removedâ( UNBELIEVABLE). I told him it dose not work like that HG could edit their review at anytime, he stated he didnât know how these reviews work - ð€ due to going around in circles I asked to speak to Head Office who he had taken his instructions from regarding deleting my review, he said no reason why not and he would get Head Office to contact me. It is actually a waste of time contacting them as they must have a book of excuses they reference.

However, when you contacted us recently regarding damage to the paintwork on your vanity unit, we still offered a free-of-charge repair as a goodwill gestureâdespite the issue not being covered under any warranty.
Our repair team replaced the centre rail, and this work was completed as promptly as possible. Additional concerns were raised only after this visit, and once again, we responded by requesting photos so our team could assess the situation further.
Following a thorough review of the images you supplied and discussions with the factory team member who attended your property to carry out the repair, it was concluded that the damage was not the result of a manufacturing fault. Rather, it appeared to be due to misuse and a lack of appropriate care over time. While our furniture is built to a high standard and suitable for bathroom environments, it still requires regular maintenance and protection from prolonged moisture exposure to ensure longevity.
We absolutely understand that bathrooms are naturally humid spaces. Thatâs why we always recommend proper ventilation and care to ensure the longevity of your furniture. We also want to note that we do offer fully waterproof options for customers with higher moisture needs.
Weâre sorry if our response has left you feeling unheard, and we appreciate your frustration. That said, our aim is always to support our customers as best we can, which is why we went beyond our obligations to help in this case. We truly hope this gives some clarity, and we remain open to further discussion should you wish to get in touch directly.

Unfortunately, the wrong finish was sent to us by our supplier, which held things up. As soon as we became aware of the issue, we reordered the correct handles and got them sent out as quickly as possible.
We know delays like this are disappointing, especially when youâre expecting a smooth experience. While human error can happen, we appreciate that it doesnât make the wait any less frustrating, and we're truly sorry for the inconvenience caused.

We had a pretty nice vanity unit made but I'd be a little wary of the quality longer term. The toilet seat broke just outside of warranty (metal totally snapped so clearly faulty) and the customer service has been really poor.

Regarding the toilet seat, weâd like to clarify that while we manufacture our vanity units to the highest standards, we do not manufacture the toilet seats or toilets. I can see your items were purchased 3 years ago. Unfortunately the toilet seat comes with a two-year warranty, meaning it is unfortunately no longer covered.

I had searched for a vanity unit for my bathroom refurbishment for months, never finding exactly the right thing. I found Harvey George online and although they werenât cheap I liked the fact that I could get the colour I wanted. However I didnât realise quite how much I could personalise my unit until I visited the store. The assistant was excellent and not at all pushy. Visit the store if youâre considering a purchase because youâll see so many options and youâll experience the quality of their products. Itâs a lot to forename you want to be sure about it. Poor quality, poor fit and really poor customer service when it was highlighted to them. I would be very suspicious of all the 5 star reveiws here and scroll down to the 1 star to get an accurate picture of HG. I bought units from Drench at the same time for 1/5 of the price and they are lasting much better.

Good product, but slightly flawed after-sales communication
We ordered a bespoke twin-sink vanity unit in March 2024, and found the options available just what we needed. After purchase, we didn't receive any plans for several weeks, despite chasing for them, and subsequently although a delivery date was advised and booked, this was then not fulfilled as we had apparently not signed off the plans on time, despite the delay in supplying them to us being the company's fault and us signing them off immediately after receipt. This proved frustrating, and after-sales didn't take responsibility for their fault, instead citing the Easter holidays as the reason. Our eventual delivery was therefore delayed by 14 days, which was again frustrating. Unfortunately we also weren't made aware of a drawer on the plans that would actually just be a fascia, not a useable drawer, which again was frustrating. Finally, the unit suffered some damage during shipping, the cause of which couldn't be identified. However, the company eventually offered some financial recompense for the issues, which was gladly accepted. All in all, whilst the unit itself is good, we didn't feel the process of creation and delivery quite matched the bespoke price tag, meaning I would recommend the product, but with caveats, and I feel Harvey George still need to tune up their processes to really match their true potential.

We ordered 2 vanity units from Harvey George and the experience was great from start to finish. The customer service was excellent (particularly Hannah) and dealt promptly with my endless questions and changes to get the bespoke products I wanted. I know nothing about plumbing etc and was worried about ensuring the units would be able to be fitted in my bathroom but Harvey George were super helpful in providing information and solutions. Lovely unit and VERY helpful customer service
We chose Harvey George because of the bespoke nature of the vanity units. We chose the Amy vanity in pink, which we couldnât find the colour or size elsewhere. The sink we wanted wasnât in stock but when I emailed to enquire customer service told me when it would be back on and they could add this to my order. Customer service were very helpful and answered all my questions very quickly with information about sink sizes so I could source my own tap and matching windowsills to the sink top. Unit looks fantastic in the new bathroom and customer service were really helpful.

Bespoke vanity unit
Bought a vanity unit and bath side panel for our new bathroom. Canât recommend Harvey George highly enough for the pre-purchase customer service, the quality of the unit and the support post-purchase.
We really struggled to find a vanity unit the size and design style we wanted on most bathroom retailers but Harvey George offered a bespoke vanity unity which was exactly what we wanted and was within our budget.
The unit itself is beautiful and the fact you can peronalise so much of the unit, all online was fantastic. We used the design service for our bathroom which was fantastic (the cost for this service came off our final order cost) and allowed us to visualise the unit within the bathroom design style we had in mind.
Delivery was well organised and efficient and the team at Harvey George were helpful through - answering questions quickly and sending out a paint sample/colour samples quickly.
Overall I couldnât recommend them highly enough.

Poor quality of vanity unit and awful customer service not what we were expecting when we'd paid such a high price.
Won't be using them again or recommending.

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing experience.
Upon receiving your complaint on 07-08-2024, we promptly reviewed the quality control photos taken prior to delivery on 26-07-2023 which showed the vanity unit in good order. However, we do advise that the vanity unit should have been checked immediately upon delivery and any issues reported so they could be addressed promptly or the unit returned with the driver. We understand that once the unit was fitted, rectifying any damage became more challenging.
As a goodwill gesture, we offered to send a touch-up paint pot and provide a partial refund of £150, as we could not definitively determine when the damage occurred. We understand that this may not fully compensate for the inconvenience, but we hope it demonstrates our commitment to resolving the issue.
Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we will take steps to improve our processes to prevent similar issues in the future. If you have any further concerns or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We apologise once again for any frustration or disappointment caused by this situation.
