Paid for the service because I needed a headshot in a rush. The generated photos had many issues that made them unusable for me.

Most of them dramatically changed the length, color or style of my hair. Unique identifying features were totally missing, it added dimples when I have none. Some of the photos didn't even remotely resemble me. 1-2 didn't even look like real faces. Additionally, the outfits they use were nothing like what I would ever wear, making the photos obviously fake.

They say they offer a 100% money back gauruntee, but when I reached our for a refund, I recieved blunt response that my submitted photos didn't meet their vague requirements, so I wasn't eligible for a full refund.

Maybe if you have the time to change your outfit 13 times and find 13 different plain backgrounds in good lighting, it might work out. If I had that much time, I would have just gone to a photographer.

I was able to get better results prompting a free AI tool that doesn't even specialize in headshots.

I was very disappointed with my experience using Headshot Kiwi.

I uploaded the same photos to another AI headshot platform and received a wide variety of professional images that accurately reflected my appearance, including my natural hair texture. When I used Headshot Kiwi, every generated image altered my hair to a straight hairstyle, despite my uploaded photos clearly showing otherwise.

After being unhappy with the initial results, I even purchased a higher-tier package hoping that providing additional examples would improve the outcome. Instead, I received more versions of the same inaccurate images.

What made the experience worse was customer service. When I reached out for assistance, I was met with a dismissive response and told I had not followed the correct procedure, rather than receiving support to address the issue.

There are too many AI headshot services available today to spend your hard-earned money on one that prioritizes upselling over delivering quality results. Based on my experience, this felt more like a cash grab than a service focused on customer satisfaction.
