😱🎉I’m delighted to have passed my driving test first time with zero faults! I couldn’t have done it without the incredible support, patience, and guidance from my instructor. Every lesson was well planned, professional, and helped build my confidence on the road. They always explained things clearly and made learning enjoyable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated driving instructor. Thank you for helping me achieve such an amazing result!

Title: ⚠️ DO NOT BOOK — Unprofessional, makes you feel unsafe & uncomfortable

I took driving lessons with Dev from Hereford Driving School, and I am writing this warning because I do not want anyone else to go through what I did.

From the very first lesson, his behaviour was completely unprofessional. He was too personal, overly familiar, and did not keep any proper professional distance. I never felt safe, relaxed, or comfortable being alone in the car with him — I actually dreaded every single lesson because of how he acted.

An instructor’s job is to make you feel calm, safe, and respected — he did the opposite. He crossed boundaries that should never be crossed between an instructor and learner. It was inappropriate and made me very anxious.

Later, he contacted me personally asking if my partner (from Portugal) and I could do renovation work for him. He never asked about our experience or quality — I truly believe he only asked because he knew I am Polish, and he thought because we are foreign, we would not know our rights and he could take advantage of us.

When we did the work, he and his business partner Dr Gerald Okafor hid the terrible condition of the property, gave us an impossible deadline, bullied and rushed us constantly, and then refused to pay us a single penny for £1,000 labour + £60 materials we bought ourselves. They lied, made up false excuses, and even threatened us — all because they thought they could get away with treating foreign workers like this.

On top of that, as an instructor he has a duty to act honestly and professionally at all times — but he has acted dishonestly, illegally, and with no integrity whatsoever.

Please — save yourself stress, money and worry. Do NOT book lessons with him. He is not professional, he does not respect boundaries, and he cannot be trusted.

I have reported his behaviour to the ADI Registrar (DVSA) because this kind of conduct should not be allowed.

After several years of start-stop driving, and then a poor experience with my previous instructor, it was a breath of fresh air to have Dev as my instructor. He was attentive, kind, reassuring and helped me pass my test today after 4 months !!! He also supported me with any queries I had not during the lesson itself. I would definitely recommend him.

Best Driving instructor App, I can manage my lessons and pay for them ,I can also see my credits too when the lessons delivered. Plus I found my instructor via Book Drive and he was the best . Today I PASS with 0 faults, can't thank enough.

Dev is very good and experienced instructor. He makes learning experience very easy and he is very good at identifying the learner’s limitations and focuses on weak areas which not only helped me to pass the driving test but also boosted my confidence to drive on the road.

Took 3 classes with Dev, said i was okay initially first two classes and need to build my confidence and learn the road rules, spent more time chatting than actually teaching, then mock out of the blues when i had not even been taught all the maneourves and said i was horrible and had a lot of issues that needs to be fixed, and being very mean about it, l tried to discuss how we could fix the issues asap by booking more classes going forward, called and was ignored and sent a message to discuss the next step but i was ignored and it took him 8 days to reply my message knowly fully well my test is coming up in a month, and then tells me we cant work together as our schedule doesnt work, after i explained everything to you from the beginning, if you he did not to take me at all, would have been reasonable to let me know so i dont waste my money. Nothing to write home about. Absoutely unprofessional.

I had the pleasure of learning to drive with Dev, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. As someone completely new to the UK, I was a bit nervous about understanding the driving rules here—but Dev broke everything down in such a simple, clear, and patient way that it all started making sense quickly.

He made the entire learning process feel effortless. Thanks to his calm, encouraging approach and clear guidance, I was able to build my confidence behind the wheel in just two months. I passed my test on the first attempt with only three minors.

Had a great experience with this hereford driving school. Engaging lessons with detailed feedback. Loads of opportunity to get better before tests, multiple practice sessions/mock tests. I passed with flying colours. Strict teaching but made me a better driver

Cancelled last minute with no apology , we couldn’t make the next day and he took £90 and wouldn’t refund us . Avoid .

Amazing instructor made it very easy to learn to drive and helped greatly. Brilliant lesson style and adapts to what you are struggling with. Would recommend.

Today I have passed my driving test from the first attempt!
If you are serious about your driving, Dev is the person to learn from. He covers every detail and aspect of your driving experience and doesn't leave anything to second guessing; he is very professional, experienced and patient instructor.

Dev was brilliant - very calm and made sure I knew exactly what to expect from the test, what my weaknesses were and what I should work on. I passed first time, so it obviously worked!

Aged 57, profoundly deaf and frazzled after 6 months of manual car lessons with a different driving school. I considered myself a challenge for any instructor. This didn't worry Dev, after a chilled and calm lesson in his EV, I actually started to enjoy driving! Dev is intuitive, thoughtful and structures each lesson according to your weaknesses and strengths. He gave me many drawings and YouTube videos from his own dashcam to help me overcome 4-lane roundabouts'. He is IT-friendly with Android and Apple and manages to fit your lesson at a time that suits you, even when his calendar's full! I shall miss our lessons now that I've passed my test...it was an adventure with many chuckles!
