Hertz - Oakland - Marriott City Center レビュー 

Rude staff. They gave me a dirty car that smelled like cigarettes and the windshield wiper was broken. When I exchanged it they gave me another car that was dirty on the outside. The next day the key fob died.

Overall I love hertz, for giving me the opportunity to rent from them. The extra fees get a lil tricky but never outrageous. They are alright with me

The site was oversold, no car was available at my designated pick up and waited more than 2 hours for a rental. The rental an intermediate SUV was dirty on the outside -not washed.

Customer service

There were insufficient staff members to assist customers. I waited in line for 1.5 hours to get a rental car, even though there were only five people ahead of me. Unfortunately, there was only one staff member processing rentals, which caused significant delays. Most customers had reservations, yet the agent was unable to process them quickly enough to keep the line moving. I believe the rental process needs significant improvement, particularly in staffing and efficiency, to reduce customer wait times and provide a better customer experience.

I have been a Gold Member for 20 years. I have previously rented from this location. This time fraudulent charges were added to the receipt. I drove the car out of the Hertz garage and immediately received a flat tire notification. I informed the front desk and they said it was my fault. Then they gave me a dirty car in exchange. I was charged for the tire. I was charged other exorbitant fees on the receipt. Service was terrible.

The All of the staff was very helpful and patient, considering they had limited inventory at this office.

When i picked up the car the charge was only around 25%. then when i returned it there was an erroneous vehicle damage report for a minor crack on the windshield that was already there when I picked it up. It was a very stressful experience.

I reserved a car at your Oakland Downtown location and when I arrived at the assigned time, i waited in line while the attendant gave a car to another customer in the office and 2 on the phone before even acknowledging me (over 25 minutes). Then she rudely tells me they have no cars, and if i wanted one it would be 3 times the rate i booked, and if i didnt want it she didnt care and I could just leave. Not what I expect when I reserve using your Gold+ Presidents Circle service or whatever it's called. I'd rather work with another company next time.

The vehicle I chose was not returned to the location in time for me to pickup. Therefore, I had to pick another vehicle that was too small but happy that I could exchange for the actual car I selected at another location, so it all worked out.

All of the staff at the Oakland Marriott Hertz office are helpful, courteous, and kind. Things go smoothly every time I rent there.

Roz, the Customer Service Assistant was efficient and friendly.

However, as soon as I started the car, a notification for Servicing appeared on the dashboard along with an oil can icon. This was very concerning.

In addition, it is a hassle to navigate the Hotel lobby and elevators to get the car from the 4th Floor.

Returned car and was assessed 400 unexplained damage fee retrospectively with zero explanation and then fought with computer on phone t talk to human and waited over 2 hours on hold before I was disconnected.

Person behind counter was rude. I reserved car. Paid for gas refill, tolls and insurance just to be given a piece of shit car that didn't work with 1/2 tank fuel. 2 people in front of me without reservations both receoved cars with full tank. I questioned it and response I got was that's all they had. Car was also on verge of breakdown. Had to return car early as to not be stranded on road.

As a Gold member, it was probably my worst ever treatment by Hertz. The desk was empty and after about 5 minutes an agent wandered in and eventually took her seat at the desk and proceeded to shuffle papers. I approached the desk, noted I was a gold member and asked if I might go to my car directly. Without looking at me, the agent pointed and said 'the line starts there'. When I politely reiterated that I was a gold member and may I go directly to my car, I was told to 'sit down and take your turn' (2 people in the line). A second agent eventually came in, and while the first agent was still fussing about, I was served and got my car. Unnecessarily rude and abrasive - I suggest the agent needs a customer service refresher course.

Outstanding customer service with a quick and easy vehicle pickup. I definitely plan to book here in the future.

I didn't get the car until after 12:38. You didn't have the car I requested. I was forced to take an "upgrade." I returned the car at 2:50 PM, ahead of the scheduled deliver per the contract and was charged a late fee anyway, presumably because it was after 12:38 when I left. The charge $436.02. There were cheetos on the floor, a used earbud, and prescription drugs in the car AFTER I waited for it to be cleaned. Nothing went right. Not a damn thing. I will never use Hertz again and I will tell everyone I know.
