It was easy to rent the car. The car was clean and drove well. returning the car was quick and easy. I would use hertz again.

Car was not ready for more than an hour after pickup time and then I was charged for gas even though I filled the tank

Customer service is always amazing at the Pasadena CA location -- all staff go out of their way to make the customer experience the best including David, Dujuan and Art the manager!

Great service, great rates, great range of cars

Overall, the experience was pretty disappointing. When I arrived, there was a large crowd waiting for vehicles, and the process felt disorganized. Even though I had reserved a car online, I still waited around 45 minutes, and reservations didn’t seem to receive much priority. Staff mentioned they were running low on cars and that customers would basically have to take whatever was available. The staff also didn’t seem particularly friendly or helpful, and I expected the vehicle I reserved online to be available as expected.

The return process, however, was quick and easy. Unfortunately, the overall price was also much higher than expected—I could have gotten a much cheaper ride through Uber. Overall, it was definitely a learning experience, but I wouldn’t say it was a great rental experience.

The website made it easy to schedule a pickup online. The employee that work with me during pickup was knowledgeable and efficient. He volunteered to demonstrate the controls and accessories in the hybrid vehicle that I rented. I accepted, and he was able to answer my questions. Even even told me that the oil change message might display, as the time was approaching, but to ignore it. The vehicle return was fast and easy, even though I returned it early.

The guys that work there are great and they hustle, however every time I go there I have to plan to wait over 30 minutes, you need to hire staff.

The vehicle wasn't ready for 12pm reservation. When I got there the truck was offsite. Waited 30mins. Of course the truck was dirty when it returned from an oil change. I had to leave and come back in 106 degree weather because I was trying to pick up the rental during lunch. Came back around 2:30 and the truck was just being put in the car wash. At that point took I another truck that was available and dirty because I didn't have time to wait anymore. When I came back it should have been ready.

It is easy to reserve a rental car. The company has several cars to choose from.
