Highly recommend karate school. Great place for youngsters to learn.

This family run business is fantastic. You feel the warmth and know that they care about us all as individuals. My daughter started over a year ago and had loved every single class. They take such good care of her needs as well as teaching her life skills, defence, control, power, balance. She has really benefited from her karate and that’s down to the excellence of the teaching, team and family atmosphere. We give Hicks 5 stars for being simply amazing!

My 6-year old son has attended this school for a year and a half and he loves it! He is learning, he is training, and he is making friends.

I highly recommend it to any parent wanting to start their kids on a martial arts path!

Excellent place with amazing staff. My daughter loves little ninjas and is learning so much. She is excited to go every week and the encouragement they give them to join in is over and above anything i have ever seen before in these sorts of classes. It's lovely that you are able to watch the classes and see how they are getting on and whem you can't you can catch up on their facebook page with pictures from the sessions. It's great seeing what they are achieving in each session.

My grand daughters love it here growing up to be wonderful well mannered young ladies.

Excellent family Karate Dojo and so much more. My daughter has been going here since a failed attempt elsewhere and she has flourished here and has now become a very confident Martial Artists. She has joined the Kata team and has been actively competing for the last 18 months with success under Miss Atlanta Hickman.
She enjoys all aspects of the curriculum however Hyper Pro being her favourite having the chance to train in several weapons and creative forms.
She is a Storm team member and loves helping and and interacting with the younger members of the dojo.
Sensei Hicks is a role model for the kids and is a brilliant teacher, instructor and mentor.

My son started here last year and absolutely loves it. He is Autistic and we were looking for something physical to improve his fitness levels and also boost his confidence. He does 2 sessions a week and looks forward to each session so much. Everyone at Hicks is amazing, the instructors, students and other parents are all so lovely and welcoming. I have seen a huge boost in my son since he began and I'm very grateful that we found this wonderful place.

Little Ninjas at Hicks Karate is one of a kind. I took my daughter to other preschool classes in karate and dance and nothing gauged her attention like this. She is straight out of class and can’t wait to go back. Until you see it you can’t explain just how much they learn and gain from those 45 minutes. She comes out having burnt energy but also telling me her colour spot and counting her punches. She’s made friends as have I as everyone is just welcoming and lovely. Her nursery has commented positively and we have noticed a huge difference and are settled for her to start school with confidence. Thank You Hicks Karate.

Best karate school in Peterborough with a family emphasis. Great for building confidence, resilience and instilling values for life. My son started as a Little Ninja and has progressed through his belts at a rate that has suited him and his abilities. Having started the ladies class, we both look forward to attending, working in an inclusive environment and developing healthy habits. Have never looked back!

Great karate school with an amazing team of instructors. I have 3 children who attend and all have made great progression through the grades, fighting in competitions and making new friends.

Brilliant karate school, my boys have both attended for nearly 7 years and I would highly recommend this to all parents. Everyone is really friendly and the instructors are brilliant and tailor there teaching to the individual child. A 5 star service!

Great place to train friendly staff and great instructors who will help you achieve your goals

What kid does not want to be cool and achieve in a fun filled safe environment.
Both my boys (aged 13 yrs and 7 yrs) have attended this family friendly club from an early age. My eldest made Black Belt and is in Elite team; the younger boy is progressing well and attends Black Belt Training Class.
The Club instructors are very supportive and experienced in helping children at all levels develop confidence, self esteem and achieve their Black Belt dreams and beyond. There are other clubs but this one stands out in the excellent teaching, facilities & equipment, and a safe friendly environment for any child to achieve their potential.

My son has been attending Hicks Karate School for the last 4 years. When he first started he was very shy and had little confidence. The instructors at Hicks Karate School are supportive and help you to achieve your goals. They have helped my son to become a more confident boy who is now part of the Black Belt Training Class and wants to improve further. The atmosphere is friendly and the instructors are very approachable.

I would recommend Hicks Karate School of Excellence all day, everyday. The facilities are welcoming & friendly, where the children & adults train it has everything & more than you need. My son has been with them since he was 4 years of age & he is now 6, same as my daughter who has been there since 3 years of age & she is now 4. All the staff there are approachable, they have an open door policy & it's like going from home to home.

My daughter's been with hicks 4 years since she's joined her confidence has improved 100% ,she now fights for the elite team and we are very proud of her, the teachers have a lot of patience and it's also a family friendly club ,we are proud to be apart of the hicks karate family x
