Felt pressurised as he outlined the work needed. Told the whole roof was in very, very poor condition - rotten battens, etc. Told he could do just back half and start straightaway. Foolishly we agreed.

Stripped tiles and ridge tiles off new extension and took them away unbeknown to us. Said there would be scaffolding and a skip - neither appeared. Wanted cash as soon as job completed. Realised we were being ripped off for the price and we stopped the work. What a frightening experience!! Since had the roof measured up and the estimate is less than half what Highgate wanted to charge.

We had a roof leak and called them in an emergency
They were well on time and the works was done in a very professional manner.
