Welcoming courteous staff (Kaye and Alex, previously Mark). On time, thorough and speedy, gave great explanations. Had a chat about fast cars with Alex too. Used them a couple of times now, and this will now be my regular tyre place.

We had a puncture alert on the A66 whilst travelling to Scotland. The satnav took us to HiQ in Barnard Castle. The staff were really helpful, calmed us down, checked the car and fixed the problem. No fuss, even gave advice on our trip. Fantastic service.

Excellent service. Just had 2 tyres replaced. Enjoyed a nice cup of coffee while I waited. All done and dusted in half a hour from arrival

Please extend my most grateful thanks to Mark & Kaye at your branch at Barnard Castle. Yesterday i was en route to Dumfries from Nottingham and noticed on the A66 the front tyre of my van was looking worn and the cord showing. Dashed over to the branch and was immediately looked after by Kaye . Unfortunately no new tyre was in stock but Mark very kindly swapped my spare to keep me going and asked for no money. FIRST CLASS SERVICE BY FIRST CLASS PEOPLE. Many sincere thanks and regards indeed.

From moment of arriving reception and technician were polite and welcoming. Tyres were changed quickly and efficiently. Mark in particular was most impressive.

I called in with a slow puncture. Really great service from Alex in Barnard Castle. Plus all the other staff too, who were friendly and welcoming. I helped myself to a cup of tea and waited the short time it took for the repair to be carried out. All the tyre pressures were checked and set. A plastic car seat protected the drivers seat as my car was pulled in and out. All turned around in under half an hour. Thank you

We popped in to get a tyre checked by Alex as we were concerned it was unsafe. He checked the tyre thoroughly & explained the damage was not sufficient to need to replace the tyre but could have sold us a new tyre regardless and we would have been none the wiser. Much appreciated that we didn’t have to find -almost £90. Alex also took the time to explain benefits of a Davanti tyre with accidental damage replacement depending on the circumstances and damage. A really helpful and honest member of staff who we felt went out of his way to reassure us. We would not hesitate to use this branch again in the future.

I was only having my wheels balanced but was impressed by the very attentive staff and particularly Alex who took great care of my XJ6 during the whole process.

Have used this company a number of times for tyres, batteries and other service issues. Courteous, good deals when they can, but they always deliver as promised even on tricky jobs. Recent jobs have included wheel alignment, replacement of two front tyres to match original, battery check (didn't need it error code in management system), and a very tricky main pulley replacement on Audi V6 when no local garage could do the job.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Alex checked my tyres and solved the problem of why they were going flat. Three tyres resealed and one new one. Problem solved and back on the road again.

The customer care was excellent. I pulled up to the facility without a booking and was greeted immediately by Alex. I had a slow puncture and had fully expected to need to return at an agreed time. After a brief introduction, Alex took the key and started work. The problem turned out to be rust on the rim, (old car). Alex dressed the wheel , buffed up the bolts and reseated the tyre in a matter of minutes. He was friendly, informative and diligent. Excellent job, thank you.

Great attention to detail and great service from Alex at the Barnard Castle branch. I renewed a pair of rear tyres but one of them was only part worn and he advised me to keep the part worn one in case I had damage in the future on one of the new ones and HiQ would fit the part worn one if that was best. Highly recommend and will always use this place for future tyres.

Have unexpectedly had to use the Barnard Castle branch twice in the same week. Got two fitted, only to be told I needed two more. This financial pain was offset - as much as it could be - by the 5* customer and professional service delivered by the branch staff. Quick, easy to deal with and overall, better priced than the competition. Will certainly be using them again.

Alex, at Barnard Castle, had a great attitude and was very helpful. I had hit a large boulder and blown the tyre apart. He quickly changed the tyre, and identified that, unbeknown to me, I also had a problem with the rear tyre, due to the impact. They ordered a second tyre which he subsequently fitted after 5pm. I felt he went the extra mile to help me out.

Awesome. Identified a cracked alloy wheel rather than a tyre issue. Couldn’t fix but helped us on our way 300 miles from home. Took all wheels off, checked & gave advice on other damage all for no charge. Special thanks to Alex & Mark. Made 140 miles of journey home before calling the AA.
