*UPDATE*
Despite HiQ’s token response to this review, they have still not replied to my email in which I gave them the details they requested. Don’t be fooled.

Took my car in for a simple wheel alignment. When I got it back I had 3 warning lights on for the first time.

I phoned the garage and the receptionist flippantly told me ‘they have to come on at some point’. She hesitantly booked me in for a follow up but attempted to charge me for it.

They took it back in and then tried to pull the wool over my eyes by giving me bogus error codes and saying I would need to take it somewhere else. Clearly they didn’t think I would do a simple Google check - the codes were related to the AdBlue tank - which my car does not even have! I also noticed they had scanned an Audi A4 to get these codes - not even my car.

I followed up again and they agreed to send the real codes over - shocker, it was the steering angle sensor! In other words directly related to the wheel alignment they had done. They are still refusing to fix it.

The receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive - horrible customer service. This coupled with the blatant duplicitous action of trying to send me bogus diagnostic codes is just shocking behaviour.

There’s a chance you’ll have a decent experience with this garage but just bear in mind that if anything does go wrong they will absolutely not take any responsibility and you’ll be left arguing with a nasty receptionist over and over again.

I will never use again.

One again excellent customer service from the Hi Q team at Lanark. From delivering the car in to the tyres fitted and ready to go in less than 45 minutes.

Excellent service & a very speedy tyre fitting. I was in and out in around 10mins

Notified when tyres had arrived and all kept to the original bookong time slot.

I had my car booked in for brake pads & discs. Claire was very helpful & phoned me to advise when the work had been completed.

I had a damaged tyre from a pot hole. I called and spoke to Claire at HiQ Lanark, who confirmed they had a tyre in stock. 🙂 I arrived and the fitter Gary got straight on to taking my wheel, fitting a new tyre and placing it back on to the car, all in 20mins ready for the road again. Great service and made to feel welcome. 10/10.

Great price for tyres. Fitted very quickly and no fuss

Fantastic staff, friendly and fast. They would have got five stars until I realised they had fitted a different type of Pirelli tyre to the one I ordered. Luckily looking on line it’s similar and the same price so I’m not to bothered about going back and changing it

I booked the appointment online with ease. I was kept informed by email and text message by Claire in the office regarding the order, when the tyres arrived and the option to ammend the appointment or time slot at any time. The fitting was quick and efficient by a technician called Gary so I wasn't hanging about unnecessarily. All in all a top experience...well done.

Visited Lanark HIQ to have my puncture repaired. Claire at reception was great, friendly and efficient. Gary the mechanic was so friendly and completed the job quickly.

Booked my car for an mot on the phone very nice lady booked it in no problems,went out on the day ,lovely polite lady Clairebooked the car in ,and gave me an estimated time for completion,when walk and a coffee was texted around the estimated time saying car was ready went and collected keys from Claire and paid for the mot ,checked my car and everything ok ,what a lovely experience from start to finish ,just to say Claire is total asset to hi q will definitely be back for any other car related problems.thank you very much a very satisfied customer

Had car in for new tyres staff very friendly especially Claire and Gary dropped car off and got a nice wee email to say car was ready well before it's slot time thanks again will be back soon

As always got honest & reliable service from my local HiQ garage - been going there for years & they have always gone the extra mile to make the repairs or service value for money.

Ordered tyres through the website and arranged a fitting day. On arriving was asked to wait for 45minutes, not a problem as I had not called for a time. Within 1/2 hour the technician had started working on my tyres. He took good care of my alloys as he fitted and balanced them. Simple and efficient service. Would not hesitate in visiting again.

Claire, Calum and the Lanark team have looked after me and my cars for over 20 years now and I trust them 100%.
They have always gone out of their way to help, but yesterday they went even further, and went above and beyond to help me in a difficult and stressful situation. Despite being busy, Claire really listened and calmly found me a solution. It was such a relief to get it sorted and I would highly recommend them to others. Had a slow puncture yesterday....Called Claire at HiQ in Lanark and she kindly fitted me in to the busy Monday morning schedule. Her warmth, helpful and cheery manner when I called, was exceptional and hence why for one, this garage is so busy. My sincere thanks again to both Claire and technician Gary, for getting me back on the road in a timely and efficient manner.

Great service, in and away in less than twenty minutes, having managed to squeeze me in when I asked to bring my fitting appointment forward by two days. Staff were very pleasant, polite and efficient. Definitely use them again.
