HiQ chaps are amazing, they will always do their best for you. Whenever I have a problem, they fix my van and get me back on the road as soon as they can, even squeezing in my repair when they are really busy!

I took my car to HiQ Lancaster in perfect condition for a spring replacement, but when I picked it up, there was a noise when turning the steering wheel. I returned twice to inform them that something was wrong, and both times they kept the car all day, only to tell me they couldn’t see or hear anything unusual.

After an independent mechanic checked the car, he identified the problem: the dust cover on the shock absorber wasn’t installed correctly. I took photos of the exact issue and recorded the noise that occurred when turning the steering wheel.

Despite this, they refused to admit fault and started arguing with me, claiming that the new rubber dust cover I provided wasn’t original, even though they themselves don’t offer original parts, let alone rubber covers. When they realized the issue was that they had installed the cover incorrectly—since the spring and dust cover on the other side were perfectly fine—they became rude, likely because the repair would need to be redone, which would take considerable time.

I refused to leave without a resolution and asked for their contact details to file a complaint. Eventually, the manager, speaking in a rude tone, finally told me that they would refund my money.

I took my car to them in perfect condition and got it back with a noise. They could have simply admitted they were unable to properly replace a spring. Now, I have to take my car to another service, wasting another day because of their incompetence.

I recommend avoiding HiQ Lancaster especially if you have more complex repairs to be done, to save yourself time and frustration.

Such a fantastic team of lads! We pulled up with a punctured tyre and as busy as they were, one of the team (SAM) came over to help us. We told them we were heading to the M6 and he quickly sorted a new tyre and fitted it. Showed us some great hospitality in the waiting room with free coffee and an update on the fitting. 20 mins later we were on our way home but not before he checked all other tyres and topped our windscreen wash up! Could not have asked for more - that’s what you call above and beyond!! Thanks lads - especially SAM! Keep doing what you’re doing. Merry Christmas 🎄

Amazing customer service once again. Best garage in Lancaster for fast fixes. Came for a puncture repair in my wheel and it was all sorted within 30 mins. Lovely and such polite staff and attitudes as always. couldn't recommend more! Thank you

Brilliant service from HiQ Lancaster yesterday. My service and MoT came in under budget. They probably the best group of its type in the NW. Possibly the World.

Called in after noticing a large bolt in tyre. We were dealt with immediately, wheel swapped for spare & new tyre ordered. Returned this morning to have new tyre fitted.

Amazing service from everyone at HiQ, clutch had gone in my car and they kindly let me bring the car in on the same day whilst offering me the courtesy car.
