Excellent experience from start to finish, Beth helped me arrange my thoughts and designed the perfect ring and giving useful options and advice for achieving it at different budgets

After years unworn in my jewellery box, I had three pieces remodelled and transformed into absolutely stunning new designs. The entire process — from the initial phone call through to design and final outcome — was fantastic. Deborah instinctively understood my style and my wish to re-use rather than waste, and ultimately created jewellery that feels elegant, will be worn with great pleasure, and passed on in the future.

I wanted to use a local jewellers to design and make a ring and I knew I had chosen the right people as soon as I walked into the studio. There were testimonials all over the wall and Holly G understood exactly what I wanted to do, which was to use my own scrap gold to make a ring to a very specific design. She was very knowledgeable regarding the use of mixed qualities of gold and she matched the template of the design exactly in her drawings. The processes and potential pitfalls of hand building scrap gold were explained in great detail and I was informed regularly of the goldsmith’s progress. The ring itself is exactly as I had imagined and so beautiful. The quality of service throughout was brilliant. Thank you all!

A great experience; our designer, Holly, listened to what we were looking for and through clever questions and her jewellery manufacturing knowledge, helped us both achieve the perfect designs for wedding rings. The whole process was clearly explained and our rings were delivered on time and in bespoke wooden ring boxes.

I came into Harriet Kelsall (St Albans) with a vague idea of what I wanted out of a bespoke engagement ring. Bethany was able to help me refine this idea and turn it into a reality. Her ideas and sketches provided the means to create something truly beautiful and unique.
To say I am pleased with the result would be a gross understatement; the ring is absoultely stunning and everything I had dreamt of.

My boyfriend and I (now fiancé!) went together to the St Albans store to design our engagement ring. Bethany M was our designer and was completely wonderful. She worked with our inspiration ideas, which were based on my grandmother's ring, but came up with suggestions where we were unsure on certain features/design choices. Bethany explained all the ring lingo and production to us which was super appreciated. The ring was ready on time for our holiday and we had a 10/10 experience. We will be back for the wedding bands!

My partner and I worked with Alec to design her engagement ring. Alec guided us on the design with patience and expertise. His communication throughout the process, from designing the ring until the day I collected it was fantastic. We both absolutely love the ring and we’ll definitely be coming back to Alec for our wedding rings.

My fiancée and I popped in on a whim when passing, as we had discussed a bespoke wedding ring design, due to the shape and design of her engagement ring. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome and offered refreshments whilst discussing ideas with our designer, Bethany. Bethany was wonderful from start to finish and her artist flair and attention to detail shone through. She produced an absolutely beautiful bespoke wedding ring design there and then from scratch, incorporating every element from the initial design discussion. My fiancée was absolutely blown away as it was even better than she could have imagined. I was taken through options for my ring, and tried various different styles. After we both had our ring sizes confirmed and discussed materials, we decided to commission the designs and paid a 50% deposit. At no point prior to this were we pressured into a sale or made to feel uncomfortable. Once the rings were made, we also had them engraved with our wedding date. They manufacturing process took just under two months from initial design to being ready to collect. We are extremely happy with the result and can’t wait to wear them on our wedding day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend H K Bespoke jewellery to anyone thinking about a custom piece of jewellery, especially the St Albans branch, with Betty as your designer as our experience was second to none.

Alice met with me online and in person, and was wonderfully communicative throughout — she really took the time to unpack my ideas, adapt them as new thoughts emerged, and guide me through every step with patience and creativity.

We created an incredibly personal bespoke engagement ring, integrating gold and a diamond from my mother’s engagement ring with new stones added — so the piece holds deep sentimental meaning. I was a little nervous to see it in real life, but the moment I did, I couldn’t have been more delighted. And most importantly, my partner absolutely loves it.

I had an amazing experience designing my engagement ring with Alec at Harriet Kelsall. Alec was super patient - I’m not very creative and didn’t really have an end vision, but after trying on some engagement rings a few weeks before my design session, I knew what elements I liked and Alec helped to bring those ideas together to create a design I loved. We recently had the pleasure of working with Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery in Cambridge to create our engagement ring and wedding rings. From the moment we stepped into their store, we knew we had made the right choice.

I had inherited a ring with precious stones that held great sentimental value, and we wanted to reimagine it in a more modern setting. Alec, our designer, was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process. He helped transform our vague ideas into a stunning platinum engagement ring, adding delicate features that made it uniquely ours. His friendly and patient approach made us feel completely at ease, especially when we weren't entirely sure about certain design elements.

We also commissioned two wedding rings - one featuring a beautiful platinum twist design with diamonds that fits perfectly alongside the engagement ring, and another with an enchanting mountain and trees landscape engraving. When we brought the engagement ring back to create the wedding ring, they also gave it a thorough clean and checked all the settings, which was a lovely touch.

Throughout the entire process, Alec kept us well-informed with regular updates, and his expertise was evident in every consultation. The final pieces are absolutely beautiful and match our initial designs perfectly. The quality of craftsmanship is exceptional, and it's clear that attention to detail is paramount at Harriet Kelsall.
