Hi there, thanks for reaching out and making us aware of your thoughts regarding our returns policy. We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with regards to our returns policy. As the store would have informed you; our high street stores are only able to offer exchanges for online orders and as such if you require a refund, you would need to return this to us. If the item was merely unwanted then there would be a service charge applied however if the item was faulty/damaged, the returns label would be pre-paid.

You mention attempting to call us, however please be aware that only our high street stores use 084 numbers. Our customer service team can be reached directly on 0333 3234 754 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. You are also welcome to contact us through email at website.service@hmv.co.uk. 

We pride ourselves on the service that we offer but we rely on customer feedback in order to move forward and keep improving. We would therefore like to thank you for taking the time to make us aware of your thoughts.
