Birthday treat
We went for my daughter’s 4th birthday. Hobbledown is a great adventure park for anyone under the age of 10 and over the age of 5. If you like animals, don’t bother going as you can’t actually interact with them and most of the walk throughs were shut when we went. The staff in characters were great but needed to have more of them walking around and interacting with the kids.
Pizza was tiny for £13.50 but did taste good. Overall cost is not worth it for £100 for a family of 4. You could go to better places for the same cost or less.
A disappointing experience.
we had a party there yesterday
we had a party there yesterday! They didn't know where to seat us, the pizza was burnt, no organization, the staff was next to us and would fight next to us in the kitchen, served on thawed ice cream did not bring juices. They were very disorganized and in the end we had to pay £20 for parking for two hours

Hobbledown in Hounslow is the ‘Ryanair’ of adventure parks; they make it seem like you’re getting a good deal, but sting you with fees where possible. In addition to buying the entrance fee, they include further charges wherever they can, such as: booking fees online, parking charges by the hour and all the activities that can be done within the facilities (e.g. the falconry experience).
I spent £3.75 on a coffee at the cafe only to watch a member of staff (who announced loudly to his team ‘I should probably go and put on a uniform’) press a button on a vending machine and offer me a disappointing drink.
Also, the doors to the exit outside have a button that says ‘press me’ but it does not work, which makes it awkward to get outside, especially with a pram and little ones.
Fool me once, shame on you. I will not be visiting again.
Poor cleaning and poor food choices
The idea of the place, how is design and made is absolutely stunning and wonderful!!!! No doubt at all. However how this place is maintained is shame. Outdoor area, no concern at all. Fabulous!! However, indoor, very poor standard of cleanliness. New place, but full full of dust. Poor hoovering.Only main area is hoovered at the end of the day, other bit are full of dust. I really hope that the owner will read that review, and do something about it.I visit the place 3 or 4timesa week, would like to enjoy it, and not to worry about the amount of dust we breat in while play. Horrible! Also, kids meal, adult meal, such an unhealthy choices!. You are forced to take your home food otherwise you end up eating white bread roll, with margarine and cheese or sugary snack,or fast food. Horrible choices in such a an amazing and adventures place for small and young children.
Haven’t actually been yet but…
Haven’t actually been yet. Was looking at coming in February after a friend recommended it but the weather was awful so decided to put it off until Easter. However a family of four jumps from £60 to £84 (and that’s the cheapest time slot price) which I think is extortionate and based on other recent reviews on here, even people paying Jan/Feb prices agree and thought it was overpriced. No way we can afford £84 and completely penalises people who can only go in the holidays so rather than making £60 from us, Hobbledown will be making £0.
Breakfast with Santa
Had a great time with Santa at breakfast. The elf's and Santa were very entertaining. food could do with improvement. seeing the animals after was a treat. My grand kids loved it.
My bad experience at hobbledown
Really high prices and misleading because on the website it said £11 and then when we got there it was £17 which is ok for children but for the adults it isn’t as we are paying money to sit and watch our kids. It should be a discount in the holidays as well but the price went higher. With the cost of living currently these are extortionate prices and inconsiderate towards serving the local community.
World Class Experience
I am currently speechless of the experience. It was quality for my children and had a long enough time for me…not my kids though!
A simple 5 stars! Wish I could make it 6
(I forgot to review it at the time…Sorry!)
Great all round
Great all round, both locations. Customer service are so responsive too!

Received £70 parking fine following a visit. Tried to speak to Hobbledown to assist with this as I have my booking confirmation and they could surely resolve it with Brittania parking, but they refused to help. Please could someone from the escapade group provide a contact number or email address to resolve this.
Ridwan in Hobbledown Heath
We came to attend a birthday party here and we’d been once before, having vowed we wouldn’t come again due to how badly it’s managed and how expensive it is. The only reason I am writing a review here is to mention that we were hosted by a lovely person called Ridwan who went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasant one. It was obvious they were understaffed and he was handling so much but he was very approachable and so accommodating. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think we’d be leaving very happy. I’m giving these 5 stars for him
What a TOTAL waste of money
What a TOTAL waste of money. We went for a child's treat and found many of the 'shows' were closed and not operating. The balance were understaffed, poorly run and excessive time spent in queues. YET they still charge FULL entry fee. I would NOT recommend this venue at all. Never again.
Extremely Poor Service
We are extremely disappointed by the lack and quality of service experienced at my Grandson's 5th birthday party today. It's clearly advertised as:
Party Host - a friendly party host to help your party feast go smoothly
Hobbler Feast - a birthday feast for the hungry young partygoers!
My Son booked the party on the strength of attending another party back in March, however today was appalling. The party host never spoke a word to us. Pizza was placed on the table, there was no mention of how hot the pizza was and my Grandson was immediately in tears having burnt his mouth.
We never received any fruit and vegetable platters, after waiting a while we had to ask for our birthday cake to be brought out as the children were getting fed-up waiting. Considering this was a party for a 5yr old we were surprised to see 11 candles on his cake. We also paid for 4 pizzas to be boxed for us to take-away and we never received these.
After complaining at the time my son was told they did not give refunds and you could give him a voucher. I then asked to speak to the Manager and was told she would speak with me in a minute as was dealing with staff in the kitchen. She never came and spoke with me, so I then spoke with someone called Lisa who said she could offer a £6.00 refund and a voucher. Given the lack of service and missing items this was refused. She then said she was sorry we had received such poor service.
As we were about to leave another member of staff also said they were sorry and asked if we had received a book for the birthday child. We are assuming this is the free gift offered, but again never mentioned by the host.
At the time of booking we had booked for 13 children, but only 12 came along and we were told the additional booking could be refunded. No-one offered this refund today and 2 weeks later we are still waiting.
Brilliant for kids, but very pricey especially for adults
It’s an amazing place for kids, so much for them to do and the adventure park is amazing for the kids to get on with. Only issue is it’s so expensive; to charge adults and kids the same price is ridiculous as all I did was sit around and hold their coats. They need to make it more interactive for adults to be charging these prices.
Expensive day out
Visited with 6yr grandson, was looking forward to the day however turned out to be very expensive cost for certain things once inside, expensive food and long wait to be served, dirty toilets no toilet roll, dirty tables in cafe area due to stuff shortage,£1 per hour parking on top of everything else. Epsom definitely a better one and free parking.
Very expensive day out 😕
We went on the toddler Tuesday so 1 adult 1 toddler £10 , I have two children and just me so cost me £20!! They do not do deals it should be £5 for another child . Food and drink is overpriced , staff shortages one person serving ! Not helpful staff . Tables and floor area need a good clean . Toilets are dirty , floor area was wet . Parking is extra £1 per hour expensive day out £20 tickets, £19 food £4 parking we was only there 4 hours . (Hobbledown Hounslow) plus my daughter managed to access and get up the stairs which was closed off with a single barrier why not use a stair gate ??? Also a lot of older children ( 8 years and older ) in the small baby toddler section !!!! Why are the staff not monitoring this ??? Or is it a blind eye because you get more money ticket sales ???
Lovely staff and a fun day out
Lovely staff and a fun day out. Prices for food etc were fair. I liked the feel of the place, smiling staff etc. The gift shop has wooden toys, I got a couple of hand made wooden swords. Much better than the usual plastic rubbish. Will be back again
Great for all ages…
Took my two grandchildren to Hobbledown Heath yesterday age 7 and 5. They absolutely loved it. Spent hours outside as so much to do, plenty of outdoor climbing, bouncy pillows and they loved seeing the animals. Inside playbarn is fantastic, so much to do, they didn’t want to leave. Nice cafe, Costa coffee and plenty of seating inside and out. We will definitely be going back.
Needs more toilets and places for refreshments
We loved hobbledown so much last year that we took out membership. It seems to have gone down hill somewhat since then. The service food food takes a really long time, the staff aren’t friendly and are very unhelpful. There aren’t many toilets around so if you’re potty training this isn’t the place for you. The toilets are very unclean, this isn’t the kids missing the toilet on the day but a build up of dirt under the seats and all around. There are hand washing facilities around the animal areas but half of the soap dispensers are empty. The shows put on by the young performers are okay for children but once you’ve watched it once, you won’t fancy doing it again. It could be really well done if they had a little bit of support with their harmonising but the performances are well thought out and structured. The park has nice theming throughout but there isn’t much to do on a wet or cold day. This place is wonderful in the summer with a picnic but not so fun in February. Please add some more toilets near the outdoor play areas and it would be great if you could get a drink up there, the small one was shut again today.
Don’t bother
Hobbledown used to be great but has massively gone downhill and is not worth the £18pp ticket price.
We were given a sheet with activities on arriving. We went to the bubbles at 10:30 and waited. Nothing happening so asked 3 members of staff. No bubbles happened, staff couldn’t have cared less. At this point to our toddlers disappointment we lost our spot in soft play so walked around. Probably half the trails closed so wasn’t much to see. The exit gate was broken with no sign at the wallabies so made us 5 mins late for storytime. Knocked on the door and no one let us in. So then we waited for the “animal encounter”. About 30 of us sitting in stands were presented with a cockroach and a snail to touch…that was it. What a joke. Tried to speak to a manager to complain but they were all busy and after having emailed in to the address provided, no one is responding. I know lots of people having the same experience lately, definitely will not be returning.
