Everything worked very well

Very helpful especially when I asked if someone could lift me a bag of compost in my car after I asked him to wipe the soil of the bag .Thank you

This week I visited Berwick Upon Tweed branch to have a look lawnmowers. Danny was so helpful and between us decided which was most suitable for my needs. Because of his excellent unobtrusive friendly customer service he made a sale and even helped me get the purchase into my car. When I arrived home it became apparent a tiny part was missing through no fault of the Store, just one of those things. To save me having to make another journey Craig offered to run the item to the other side of town to give it to my daughter so se could bring it home after work. I have spent many years in my past career working for top establishments offering the very best customer service and I am often disappointed by the lack of it when the boot is on the other foot. I have to say the staff at Berwick are absolutely fantastic and a credit to the Homebase. I really hope the company recognise these fantastic employees as they are a credit to them. Thanks guys, you will be my first choice next time I need anything!

Found what I needed and all staff around the store were polite and smiling.

Homebase Berwick

I purchased a Karcher K4 pressure washer May 2023.

It has developed a fault despite minimal use, i called the store and spoke to the SM who was more interested in stating policies rather than helping and point blank refused to offer an exchange and put all responsibility onto Karcher ( i purchased this item from Homebase not Karcher ) I have full proof of purchase but the contract stated by your SM is with me and karcher not Homebase …… slippy shoulders?

What happened to just doing the right thing and a bit of common sense ?

A customer is for life ? Just not when they shop as Homebase Berwick…….

Is this the level of customer experience I can expect whilst shopping with Homebase ?

Going forward I will be shopping elsewhere - I can vaguely remember Homebase being a leading retailer but sadly with this level of care - it wont be .

In town im sure the several other retailers will relish my business.

Firstly read the review before responding, i have never said I am unhappy with the product, the product is great however its developed a fault after 9 months of use.

I am unhappy with your policy, your lack of compassion, your lack of empathy.

If you read your response it just echoes everything I have said - slippy shoulders , lack of good customer service.

It was fine but a shame that the item couldn’t be bought directly in the store. My husband couldn’t buy the item in store and was told there were none available however when I looked online there were 3 available so I bought one and he had to go all the way back to the store to collect it,

I phoned to order on 13th and was sent message to say ready to collect within the hour. Collected the pressure washer today the 14th and it was sitting ready for me so whole experience was excellent. The staff were excellent and would have no problem using the click and collect again and also had a browse round the store.

Ordered a garden gate online, within one hour of the shop opening it was ready for us to pick up. Very happy with the gate and value for money. Thanks great service.

Lorraine made my experience good. She was very helpful at helping me choose paints and advising me on what would look nice

Staff was polite and helpful when serving me as well as the customers before me, can't fault the experience in the slightest.

The service from the staff at Berwick homebase is always fantastic. I am in most days of the week, and everyone is always friendly. Very convenient for berwick with a lot of items in stock just when I need them

My heavy Click and Collect was waiting on me on a trolly, it was wheeled to my car, and put it in boot. Staff at Berwick upon Tweed store always helpful.

Walked in - Friendly Lady at checkpoint had my order details, even before I found it on my phone, She went to get the order & an also very friendly young man came through
with My Order & straight out to my car - as quick as I am typing this - Exceptional service - very professional teamwork
