Homebase - Godalming レビュー 

Asked in the aisle what I was looking for and then found it with ease. Lady at till (Karen) was friendly and easy to talk to. Made me feel welcome. Both members of staff smiled and spoke to me with interest. Well done!

Cheerful staff, product in stock, car parking, open useful hours.

Had a good deal when we ordered online as item was half price being time of year.
Unfortunately when my partner got to the store to pick it up, we were informed it was a store demo item and was already built. My partner has a small car so was impossible to get in his car. I then drove the half hour to the store as I have a 4x4 and hoped we could get it in there. The girl at the desk was helpful and said she could get someone to dismantle it. I said well can you get someone to help put it in car and we will go from there. She called and asked for assistance. A guy come out to join her at the desk and dismissed us as if we weren't there so we assumed he wasn't there to assist. The young lady called again and then 3 guys come out and walked past. Then another gentlemen arrived, didn't catch his name unfortunately but he had glasses and he tried to help. We couldn't get it in the car so had to wheel it back into store where I said if this isn't going to work we are going to need a refund and leave it. No one seemed to hear that part and this poor guy was left to it on his own to try and resolve. Luckily he persevered with no help from any of his coworkers and came up with an idea to dismantle some of it which thankfully did work. He was a very patient guy and saved the store a sale, cos we were at point of saying just give us a refund. I think the staff at thus store could so with some customer service training as apart from the young girl and the guy that assisted us no one seemed bothered. Totally different attitude to your staines branch where everyone has always been helpful. This was my 1st and last visit to this store. Even a call this morning to say it was already built would have been helpful so we could have borrowed a van or said there and then ok don't worry please refund. Had to go to the Woking branch this afternoon to pick up cover and other bits for bbq and they did have courtesy to call and say the grill basket was out of stock but the rest of the items were ready to collect.

Good service however 2 of the pots were damaged/chipped. Homebase contacted me and was amazing in resolving this issue for me afterwards.

Alfie and Willis went above and beyond to help me get a huge heavy box into my car. It was a very warm day and also 5 minutes before closing time! What a fantastic and helpful service Homebase, thank you!

Frankie was helpful, kind and one of the most customer focused employees I have ever come across. He is to be commended and I suggest you encourage him to train staff across your company. His customer service is exemplary

Alfie in the Godalming branch was amazing from start to finish. Offering to help load the car, and when realising the bbq didn’t fit, going above and beyond to help. Absolute superstar, and an amazing example of brilliant customer service. Thanks so much Alfie!

First time I had used click and collect from Homebase but will certainly use again. So convenient and speedy.
Easy to order on line, pay using PayPal and then collect an hour later from my local store with no queueing. My product was waiting in a trolley to wheel to my car. Spot on!

We brought a new kitchen with Homebase and dealt with Jen from the start, she was so understanding and patient in our decisions. The quality and finish is amazing for the value. We were also recommended a local fitter, who was brilliant to deal with. They worked around us as we welcomed a baby in the middle! Everyone has gone above & beyond & we are thrilled with the final look, quality & service.

Order, collect, easy

Great service in the garden centre today by Kelly and Grace and then at the tills with Karen and the manager who helped with a pricing issue

Thank you to Tom at Godalming today who kindly helped me (without being asked) with heavy bags of garden bark I was buying. He kindly loaded my trolley and also loaded the bags into my car.
