Nice products, good customer service

Visited Inverurie store today, Jo was fantastic, we saved alot of discounted plants that were at their worst. We will happily bring them back to life in our garden. Jo was doing the final reductions on the plants and we thought we had a bargain until Fiona at the till charged half price on everything not the final reduction price. We are now over £30 overcharged. After spending over £100. We hurried to get them planted at home so unfortunatly no proof of prices, not much we can do but enjoy our beautiful garden. I thought we were doing good saving the plants but now we're out of pocket.

Excellent service all the way through from the start when speaking to the designer to the delivery of the kitchen. I would highly recommend purchasing your kitchen from Homebase. You won’t be disappointed.

Tiresome. In store asked to purchase mirror. Staff said couldnt find mirror. Online said 1 instock. Had to order item online wait 20mins and it miraculously aappeared. Lazy staff couldnt be bothered looking!

Great service from Danny who is new to mixing paint. Over the last few days we have had 15 pots made up for us and he’s been really helpful and chatty while he dealt with our orders. He ensured we were happy with each colour and secured all the tins extra well for our journey home. We hope our orders have helped in his training! We were served by Maya at the checkout. She was super friendly and chatty too. She made sure we had had a good experience with Danny and she checked that we had found all we needed while in store. Excellent customer service will keep us coming back to Homebase Inverurie instead of choosing a competitor. Well done 👏

I sent my partner the details with a msg saying I consent for him to collect on my behalf but they needed me to go. But when i went they only asked for the order number and no id, so pretty pointless.

Store has vibes of closing down sale. Hardly any products on sale other than plastic storage boxes stacked high at every empty space. Such a shame that Inverurie is not serviced by a competent diy superstore - a B&Q would be a huge upgrade! Also lots of random products out on display with no prices? No members of staff going about to ask for help or what the prices are. Could not find the basic gardening items I came in for.

I picked my order up yesterday 1 hour after I placed the order like you advertise. The text advising me that I could pick my order up did not get to me until today Monday. A little late I think!

Plenty free parking outside the store.
Lots of good offers instore especially on the Cuprinol Ducksback fence paint buy one 5litre can or 9litre tub and the second one is half price.
Also very good price on the 8kg tub of Blood,fish and bone £15.
Lots of nice plants out in the garden centre area of the store. This store is well worth a look round. Some nice solar lights too.

I previously complained about a wheelbarrow that I bought that was damaged and the lack of help I was offered to get it into the car.
Since then Homebase contacted me to offer me an apology, a partial refund & a £10 gift voucher.
I wasn’t expecting this but it shows they listen to their customers & I have now edited my initial review & just bought some paint that was on offer

They had the product I wanted that I ordered through click & collect and picked up the item within the hour. I purchased other items whilst in store

Great shower cubicle and tray at a price that couldn’t be matched. Dispatched quickly too. Excellent service.

I wanted samples of paint colours made up from charts. Louise was most helpful identifying tones that I might think suitable. Callum was new to mixing paints and she demonstrated this skill so well to him and was very encouraging.

Click and collect worked well, very quick system. 15% off too. Win win 😀 & lovely bedroom chair, just what I wanted.
Was able to view & check chair with no problem, staff very helpful.

Super efficient , quick , staff were so friendly and knew their job inside out .
The guys even unpacked my box and loaded the car item by item ( box was too big to fit ) .
Above and beyond in my book , thank you and well done Homebase !! 👍

Left standing at the counter for 15 minutes while no one even tried to find the item. Had to ask what was going on at which point the cashier radioed again and a member of staff sauntered over to look for it. Then I had to drive to the warehouse gates to collect it. Very poor customer service

I visited home base today and I was very happy with my purchases and the service I recieved but I was disgusted to discover the customer toilets closed. Permanently!. After making enquiries I discovered that it had been decided to not re-employ cleaning staff at the end of covid and just to shut the toilets . Money saving in mind I'm sure.
As home base is providing materials for customers at all stages of life and vast number who would consider them selves as part of the disabled community I can only say how appaled I was to discover that custome basic comfort has been sacrificed for a bit more profit SHAME ON YOU HOMEBASE .

Lovely assistant in store but I did not get the 10% discount on my click and collect order which was promised when I signed up for your newsletter.

My order was ready very quickly from ordering, easy pick up and a decent price. There really is not much else I could ask for.
