I recently moved to London Borough of Hounslow. By far this is the worst borough to live in. Getting a council tax bill nearly impossible and rubbish collection missed or left uncollected.

Contacted the council and nearly an hour on the phone and nothing sorted.

For now I have resorted taking my rubbish and recycling at space-waye recycling centre.

Thank you space waye ***** Without them would have been impossible.

If the council isn’t doing their job properly please take your green blue and red boxes. Unfit for propose. Only good at spending other peoples hard earned money on things that doesn’t help the tax payer.

Rated 1 star for now. Hopefully that goes up

Spent 25 minutes on hold just to be told they will ring me back another time... why did it take 25 minutes to tell me that information?

Also their website doesn't work properly, I can't sign into an account or set up a direct debit. For that reason I was waiting for my council tax bill letter to be sent to each month so I knew the amount and when to pay... however they didn't send one in April so now I've got 2 months worth of Council Tax to pay in May because of their mistake.

Also their hold music is annoying af.

Online council tax access. Made very difficult with more than necessary layers of security. I just want to download my council tax bill. Email received with unique reference numbers and a link. Followed link and nowhere to enter these details! Then sent around in circles resetting password. Half hour later and I nearly threw my phone across the room. Extremely frustrated right now. First sign into Hounslow borough account which then allows you to link to council tax website which is external with its own multi layer security. Why make it so difficult???!!!

Recent madness is destroying Chiswick Community.

Ali was extremely unhelpful and very very rude! My elderly mothe requested account related information, he denied and put the phone down.

Every time I call customer services, I get a rude advisor. I was even trying to help save them money by the amount of engineers being sent out, was told it wasn’t my concern.

A caretaker has verbally abused me on several occasions.

Recently an engineer was out to fix a fire alarm in my friends kitchen. As making it active would cause damage to the ceiling and they would have to do more work and basically couldn’t be bothered, just walked away with the fire alarm not working.

Each and every time a report has been logged and each and every time nothing is done.

The worth council I have ever come across. All need dismissing, all are 100% careless and rude.

Nothing will be done. As always.

Simply no support from the Hounslow Council Noise Pollution team

Can your crew please get their act together and pick up my garden waste? If you cannot pick up, can you please refund me. This nonsense has been going on for 7 weeks.

The so called environmental officers abuse their power to stop anyone that they think he/she might have spitted without any evidence, I was stopped and given a ticket in Chiswick. I would never spit in the public area. disgrace.

Appalling council not fit for purpose whose only talents are the relentless fines imposed on the residents of the borough , the amount of rubbish strewn everywhere and rodents running amok is a disgrace.

Got a ticket for parking in the Inwwod Road car park on a Sunday. They have sneakily introduced charges for Sunday without any clear communications about this, whilst its free to park on a single yellow line. Appeal was rejected. This council is greedy sneaky and unhelpful.

Muggers! They said I stopped in a yellow junction box. I would never enter one without my exit being clear. Pics only showed my car outside box. Asked for video evidence twice! Never came. Paid the fine because it's too difficult to dispute. And absolutely forget trying to get through on the phone. Public service? They're having a laugh.

Planning officers frequently abuse the power they have and conservation officers are myopic and puritanical- no doubt supported by their leaders.

Of course, indecision is endemic.

They delay an application well beyond stipulated timeframe and slap fines in 24 hours! How quick! But not while they’re supposed to be doing their jobs.

Finished id1ots! "hartington road chiswick quay" it's a street where those id1ots make money using PCN for completely unaware drivers! This council is full if sh1it!

The worst council. Pathetic, incompetent staff, terrible processes. So glad we've moved out of this place.

Hounslow Council technology is not fit for purpose. I have never been able to pay anything online and always have to revert to the telephone payment system. However, inspite of giving a payment reference number, there is no reference to what you are paying for when using the telephone payment. Then there is the ridiculous, outdated system to sign up for garden waste. You are unable to do this on line. A form has to be downloaded, filled in and posted off before someone contacts you for payment. In this day and age? I won’t even go into my experience of trying to obtain the garden wastage service because you would not believe me. It is absolutely ridiculous. You cannot talk to a human being and this is fair enough, but they need to sort out their technology as a matter of urgency to drag them into the 21st century!

If L B of Hounslow were a private company they would go bust.
Emails go unanswered cant get through on the phone.
Don’t believe anybody giving this shower a five star rating
As they probably write themselves when the phone is ringing off the wall.

Very efficient and reliable coucil. Staff are atentive and polite.
Our family is now more then 6 years with them and always that we needed they responded fast and exceeded our expectations.
