The staff where excellent very helpful and friendly and helped us every step of the way to choose the right kitchen and all the appliances that we needed would highly recommend them

Rachael Murray at the Ayr branch really listened to what we said we wanted, this has resulted in a fabulous kitchen design which will take place later in the year which we are super excited about, thanks Rachael 😃

Thinking about a kitchen replacement 🤔....Don't look any further. Having had the most competitive quote from Howdens which beat all the other kitchen companies we approached we decided to go ahead with Howdens. From initial consultation and planning stage to supply of the product and appliances we found all the staff members at the Ayr branch to be very courteous and helpful. During installation our tradesmen were impressed by the quality and build of the units, each item of which was delivered and packaged with great care. A fantastic company operated and managed with customer satisfaction at the core of its business. Thanks to all at Howdens.

We had to change our 3 yr old Magnet kitchen as it was so badly discoloured and damaged through no fault of our own. We decided to look for a new kitchen and thought that we would give Howdens a try, since we were badly let down by this supposed big company both financially and after sales wise.
Howdens were night and day and world's away from Magnet. Nicole and Rachel listened to our previous experience and were so sympathetic and supportive. We decided after looking at the kitchens they had to offer I had to pick one. Not an easy with the choices on offer. The service was first class, every bit of stress was taken away and it all went so smoothly and quickly. My beautiful kitchen was fitted by 2 superb joiners and all done by the end of October. I am so happy and delighted with my new and functional Howdens kitchen.. would highly recommend this company.

Mary the kitchen designer is excellent and really listens to what you are looking for and offers solutions as well as different solid and finish options. I highly recommend her and the Howdens Ayr team.

Two aspects required: Modify integrated tall larder for shelving, and provide two wall units. Counter staff extremely knowledgeable and suggested changes to the original plans which were implemented. Stores ordered and available within two days. Warehouse team picked items and assisted with loading. A first class coordinated team effort by all involved. Many thanks.

Had some issues with the flooring we picked. Had it well over a month and it wasn't compatable. Rachel from howdens helping us pick some new flooring and swapped it over without any issues

The last couple of times I have been into the store to return and collect items the guy on the desk is very very rude and unhelpful!
I have bought three kitchen and and a number of other items in the last few years after today don’t think I will be back .
I also never write reviews!

Overcharged and sub-standard products. Called the branch, and they told me it was not their problem and I should return to be reordered. I'll just pay my joiners to sit about, shall I? Where is quality control as there is none at suppliers or Howdens.

Prices, are not very competitive these days can buy consumables cheaper elsewhere.

A first class service from the team at Howdens Ayr, especially Nicole who was very helpful answering our questions and suggesting design changes. Her knowledge was invaluable and I couldn't be happier with my new kitchen. I'd recommend them anytime

The service and knowledge was second to none

Sales staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Products are well built. The weakness is packaging of some products. For example doors which are cumbersome and heavy making handling and transport difficult. The flimsiest of wrapping provides no protection. So one door I returned had some damage that could no5 b3 refunded. Whether this was me of the contractor providing delivery I don't know. However, it is wasteful and counterproductive to supply high quality materials with the poorest wrapping and protection. Kitchens are carefully packaged in cardboard for example.

When we purchased a kitchen the customer changed the set up for the tall tower housing the oven and microwave during installation, so on returning the infill to howdens I was told they could not restock or credit this item as it is part of a tall tower.Why?? Other than that all went very well.
