Excellent service and aftercare.

I was looking for a kitchen designer. Very lucky to have found Kirsten at Bexhill branch. Listened to what I was trying to achieve and came up with a great plan. After a chat about her design we ironed out an amazing plan. So refreshing to deal with someone who is polite, listens and then designs a truly wonderful kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended. Kirsten, a huge thank you to you for your time and patience. Absolute star.

Renovating a kitchen is always an upheaval but Annabelle at Howdens Bexhill made the process as easy and seamless as possible at every step. On her initial visit to our kitchen she listened to our requirements, took accurate measurements and went away and produced a design that met our brief (to hide our ugly boiler and maximise worktop space) exactly. She was just as helpful on our follow-up visit to the showroom to make a final choice of door style, worktops etc, showing attention to every detail including lighting, handles and hinges. Delivery was made punctually at the time we requested and every part of the order was correct so that our fitter had everything he needed to produce a beautiful kitchen. We are delighted with the result and would thoroughly recommend Howdens, Bexhill on Sea.

We had a Howdens kitchen installed in 2020, one of the drawers had broken recently. Took the drawer into the Bexhill branch, expecting to have to pay for a new drawer. The style we have is discontinued, so we would have had to get a different colour drawer. However Gavin and Joe in the branch spent about 15 mins looking at the drawer, identifying the problem and fixing it, and wouldn't accept any payment. The service was first class and really appreciated, many thanks to Gavin and Joe for their perseverance and know-how to find a fix which saved me a few hundred pounds!

He was extremely helpful and courteous.
He gave me the time and was great with his knowledge and experience.
He gave me a great solution and it was a very competitive quote.

We use Howdens on a regular basis because of this.

Both Gary and Dan were a credit to Howdens at Bexhill. Both had a great attitude and did their best to ensure that I had everything that I needed, this after they had just literally run out of stock fire doors for my needs.
Gary tried everything by all accounts to get my materials ASAP which was actually just a few hours .
To be fair the staff in Bexhill always go to great lengths to ensure that you can get on with your job.

My first venture in becoming a property developer buying a flat. It needed a kitchen refresh but most of the floor and wall units could be reused so I went to Wickes and got their kitchen designer round. He proceeded to tell me what I needed without first asking me what I wanted so I wasn’t impressed.
I then went into B&Q but when I mentioned that I already had most of the units and just needed help and a couple of units and worktops his interest faded.
Thinking that I was a bit of a nuisance I entered Howdens in Bexhill primarily to look around to see what they had. I was approached by a guy who could not have been more helpful. He introduced me to the lady kitchen designer who offered to come round to the flat, have a measure up and see what she could come up with, I did impress upon her that I really didn’t need much, but she just told me that it was all part of the Howdens service to customer pledge. Usually I would take that with a pinch of salt.
She came round with another lady, had a measure up and after, presented me with her plan, utilising my existing units to maximum effect, perfect!
That was in May 2025. Due to very personal reasons there was a delay of several months before I could start the ball rolling again. I contacted the lady designer, Kirsten and not only did she remember me, she quickly came up with a current quote, which I accepted and I took delivery on Friday 17/10/2025.
The delivery driver (Steve) was really helpful and whilst delivery terms are normally just to the kerbside he helped me get everything inside, I couldn’t have done it without his help.
To say that I have been very impressed with all the service I have received would be an understatement.
Once completed the kitchen will look really lovely and once the flat is sold I will be looking round for my next project and if it needs a kitchen, I won’t waste my time any more, I’ll go to Howdens, for the service!
