Excellent service from the min we entered the showroom met design team who after inspection of existing kitchen came up with a design which exceeded our own design and a few alterations we have a well built kitchen which I feel compliments our home thanks little ant designer for queezing in what Karen wanted it looks amazing and the price stayed within our budget

A huge thanks to Sean and the team from Birkenhead depot for making our kitchen planning an enjoyable experience. From the minute Sean arrived to measure up he was so helpful and patient with all the designs and changes along the way despite it being a very busy time.
Their list of recommended installers was useful and we couldn’t have done better than choose Nick. He and his team were brilliant and have made our Howdens kitchen look wonderful. Thanks Sean and Nick

So pleased with my new kitchen which was designed and supplied by Howdens Birkenhead. This was part of a major refurbishment on my home on the Wirral. The service I received from designers and the quality of the products, appliances and quartz work surface was first rate. Everyone incl builders has commented on how nice it looks. Very contemporary. I am so pleased as this was done in memory of my beautiful wife.

Great advice for a new kitchen, came out to check my measurements, glad they did, I hadn’t allowed for a ‘sloping ceiling’ in one section.

Howdens Birkenhead is terrible bought a door opened the outer plastic wrap, the way I needed to cut the door down I couldn’t achieve what I needed to from the door .so took the door back and got refused by the manger . I had bought a smaller door but was told that they couldn’t resell the door . If my customer had changed their mind on the door I would have been left out of pocket , my local branch in bootle returned the door the service I received there is always second to none !.

Do not go with this company they have stolen from me won't even allow me to see the invoice of what I paid for. Their salesman are crooks the company is corrupt. Please look elsewhere I am at the moment starting court proceedings against them and their salesmen.

Where do I start !
Ordered items for a utility room from Howdens in the so called sale .
Firstly the initial order was taken wrong so had to wait for items missed .I had paid in full for what I believed was my entire order only to be charged an extra £300 because Howdens ordered a standard worktop not breakfast bar which was requested and an extra £100 for a base unit that was also missed off . We had to send worktops back as they were the wrong size ! . Now here come the major issue …..
so in total I paid £2550.00 for
5 x base unit (1000,900,600 and 2 x 500)
Sink
1x worktop
1x breakfast bar and backing panel
4x 350 doors
4 end panel and 2 wall panel
2x plinth
2x upstands
However
We returned
Worktop, breakfast bar ,backing panel and 2x up-stands a refund of £527.95
Which means for
Sink
2 plinth
5x base units
4 x 350 doors
4 x end panel and 2 x wall panel we have paid a grand total of £2022.05
In a sale !
I’ve been back several times to try to understand the pricing of these items and been told different prices for various items as they were bought as a package in the sale ( pot luck on prices there I believe anyway)
900 unit alone has cost me £362.46 +vat
Not sure what Howdens class as a sale but the same item in Benchmarx was £175 + vat
In fact priced items at 3 other companies and same order has come to approx £ 1300.00 inc vat at all 3
Still not resolved and won’t be going back to Howdens anytime soon .
