Waiting for a repair on my FAULTY drier still waiting 4months countless phone calls now got a link to book and the link doesn't work will never use Howdens again they don't want to know just tell you to contact supplier shocking customer service

Got everything I needed and happy with the price and quality, staff always pleasant cheerful and always very helpful

WOOHOO the kitchen is now completely finished and looking stunning! I LOVE IT!!! The transformation is even more impressive than I had expected (see pics) and my tiny space looks bigger and so stylish.

I have already been recommending Skipton Howden's to all my friends and neighbours and saying how brilliant you were. You were all so helpful from my first visit to the showroom (which I hadn't booked) to completion of the project.
Chris the joiner was also brilliant (and so funny 🤣) and did a great job. I left him, and his mate Joe, to it while I went away for the week. I returned to my beautiful new kitchen. Chris then did the (gorgeous pink - yes really!) tiles and bits of finishing off this week. I particularly love the teeny handmade fuse box cupboard!
Just a couple of very minor points for Howden's to consider; firstly, the wine racks are not quite long enough for standard bottles and they stick out! Secondly, the old fridge/freezer (not Chris's fault) was tricky to get rid of (I had to pay for it to be taken away), maybe Howden's could have a system for assisting with this?
I will be contacting your HO to make the above points, but mostly to express my gratitude to you (Ricky), the friendly and professional Skipton team (Alisha especially!) and to Chris, as one of your listed joiners.

The help from Luke was excellent he’s a great asset to the company.
I’m pleased to see that Howdens redesigned the sink unit housing, but I still think the base and back need to be made from a water proof material, I would suggest thinking about Haylite.
With plumbing under a sink there will always be a leak eventually.

I left a review about Howdens kitchens and how poor quality, I am adding to that review a year later concentrating on the appliances they encouraged me to buy from their own brand, Lamona. My Kitchen is just over 4 years old.

Dishwasher: unusable. Rusting at the sides and doesn’t clean the dishes. It doesn’t matter what I have done - with salt, without salt, prewashing the dishes, not prewashing them, using a dishwasher cleaner weekly, using different tablets, half full, quarter full - the result has been the same. Cups/glasses/plates covered in sediment that is cemented on. Cutlery not cleaned.

Hob: only the left 2 rings now work. The right two no longer recognise any induction product. Strange as the left 2 do.

Freezer: very poor quality drawers. Stick all the time. Unable to take any increased force when opening. All have cracked and split in half. This is despite the freezer being defrosted often and not full
Of ice.

Can’t stress enough, do not but howdens/lamona if you want your kitchen to last more than the warranty period.

Always good to deal with, great staff.

Recently visited the Skipton branch and had someone come out twice to the property requiring a kitchen. First time she was rather put off by the fact the building was back to basics, so no real progress. She came up a second time and I expected her to have ideas on paper of design and possibilities. She had nothing! No rough plan, or idea, and appeared very uninterested. Three weeks later still no plan or communication from her. My joiner called her today and she said she'd alot to do! Surely her job is to see beyond a building looking like a a bare canvas? and to provide options, suggestions and advice....? Thankfully Magnet have vision!!

Skipton branch brilliant to deal with, moved my account after a terrible experience at Keighley, how different a branch can be

I only purchased a wardrobe rail and fixings.
They were in stock. The guy who dealt with me was great and clothes hangars sit on the rail successfully.
What more can said ?

Howdens is highly regarded as the best supplier in our area, probably down to the management and sales team. Back bone of the Skipton branch in our experience.
