Staff and manager at Stafford Howdens will tell you anything that they think you want to hear in order to get a sale.
Will never visit another Howdens ever again.
So pleased we our new kitchen from Howarth Timber and Kitchens in Stafford, there quality of carcass and kitchen doors make Howdens look like a dolls house quality and less expensive then Howdens too.

Recently purchased our kitchen from Howdens now having been fitted very happy with our choices/quality alongside Alicia's suggestions and recommendations from Howdens. Alicia has kept us upto date with progress of our orders. Wanted to post this and recommend for future customers.

Door handles snap off. Cheap and dangerous products.

I have recently had a new Elmbridge kitchen fitted from Howdens Stafford and their design service was great. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very patient with helping me to choose the right units and appliances to achieve the look that I wanted, the quality of the units were excellent . There were also no problems with changing items and no delays with delivery. It all went as planned. I’m very pleased with my new kitchen and would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about having their kitchen replaced.

Super happy with our kitchen, it’s amazing quality with personalised quirks, thanks to the kitchen designer. We were that impressed that my sister has order a kitchen from them too.

Having ordered our kitchen from Howdens we expected good service and quality product.
The errors during the process have lead to a delay in the kitchen being fitted. This meant no running water or hob to cook on for an extra 4 weeks, plus moving builders and floor fitters around the delayed dates.
Firstly the measurements of the kitchen were wrong which meant Howdens had to come out and re look and replan resulting in a larger cabinet and an extra cost for us.
Second the kitchen work top join was overlooked, meaning we couldn’t have drainer groves without moving the breakfast bar over again. Our builder had to return to move this and we had to delay the floor being fitted also.
On second attempt to template worktop, it transpired we should have been advised to move breakfast bar over further if we wanted a straight join.
The extractor hood was delivered damaged along with one of the carcasses.
Due to the above issues we wanted to double check the work top order was correct, on double checking we found that the wrong colour had been ordered. At first Howdens said that we would have to pay for this to be changed, after several calls and emails they agreed not to charge and the work top would still be delivered on the original date. The day before fitting (only 24hrs later) Howdens called to say there was a mix up with their supplier and the worktop was out of stock. Again after several calls we were then told it would be delivered and fitted a week later. After enquiring about the delivery and fitting confirmation, we were advised we would receive a text a few days before and that there would be a link to confirm, if you don’t confirm, delivery and fitting would not be completed. When we enquired as to why we hadn’t received a text for the original fit date, we discovered the text had been sent to our builder not ourselves as he was down as preferred contact! I only found this out when asking what the process was, my fear was that when the worktop is ready and a text gets sent it would of again gone to our builder and not us, resulting in further delay.
We are approximately 4 weeks behind due to Howdens errors, wasted several working hours chasing and emailing trying to get answers, wasted booked holiday for a delivery that got cancelled the day before and we still have no worktop.
We are waiting on the manager to offer some compensation and explanation of this poor service and to see if the worktop actually gets fitted when promised.
