Excellent service and customer service always helpful. The manager and his team are always on hand to help and visible where you can ask questions and not in offices . The open plan offices are a very good idea . The staff are always smiling and treat you with respect and ask about you. Thank you

All staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of there products
My visit was at a time when all sales staff dealing with other customers
But Matt the manager see the situation and called me over to serve me from his desk
The only downside that let him down was not offering me a coffee

The product I ordered was supplied on time and i was advised it was ready to collect. On arrival at the service desk I was greeted with a friendly smile and efficient service!

The guy on the counter was polite, helpful and efficient. Found what I needed quickly. Warehouse guy was also efficient and polite. It's been a while since I've been into the branch, and I must say I'm very impressed.

I’m using this branch for years, and I will always do, most friendly staff I ever meet, they treat me as part of their Howdens family. They make you feel good and welcome to their branch, many thanks to Lisa, Alex, Scott and all other guys for all their help and support over the years!!!!!

Keep it up as always

From the moment we stepped into the showroom, the team at Howdens Stevenage exceeded our expectations. Scott, at the main counter, was incredibly helpful. He took the time to walk us through the showroom, providing expert advice on units, door specifications, and how different ranges affect both price and colour. His guidance helped us choose the perfect appliances that balanced quality and value. Scott even offered great suggestions for our kitchen layout, which made the decision-making process so much easier.

When it came to the measurements and design, Jack was fantastic. He visited our home, measured everything precisely, and sent back a design in no time. Despite our indecision, Jack patiently revised the design multiple times, helping us visualize the perfect kitchen. His creativity and dedication were key in bringing our ideas to life.

Both Scott and Jack are true assets to Howdens Stevenage, and their expertise played a huge role in our decision to choose them for our new kitchen. We couldn’t be happier with the smooth process and the stunning final result. Thank you for making our kitchen dream a reality!

I went for a small item that I order for my son new home and I was just amazed that the employee behind there counter didn't say to me how much the item was as when I ordered this item no cost was spoken about. I am a very vulnerable person due to still recovering from my illness and unaware of the systems you have in place of costing for equipment.

Design issues, faulty kitchen worktops, damaged units, poor communication and a week more than expected!

Issues started with the design, as soon as my builder saw the kitchen plans in situ, they pointed out that 2 of the kitchen tops would be too narrow and would need replacing.

The remaining laminate kitchen worktop (the one we actually needed), had serious quality issues with a noticeable and rough edge from glue that had dried after seeping through the edges (22mm calacatta). This meant all new worktops which would take a while!

I had to pickup a new unit from another branch after we unpacked one to find it damaged. The first replacement was also damaged (luckily I unpacked this one before leaving the carpark to get it replaced again).

I had to organise the delivery of a replacement cabinet door which again was found to be damaged (warped).

The luxury LVT flooring from Howdens also had cracked corners when it was unpacked.

Subsequently, the kitchen was delayed a further week as my builder had to wait longer for new worktops to be delivered. With some chasing we were promised that the new worktops had arrived on the Friday and would be delivered first thing the following Monday. Monday morning came and went! I chased the Stevenage team around midday to be told they hadn't even arrived at the depot. After some frustration from me, they later called again to say they had found them and they would now be delivered later that day.

On a kinder note, our main contact Jack was very helpful when we were able to speak to him and he did try to resolve issues as best he could.

Just not the best of experiences and one that ended up taking longer and becoming more expensive with the added time for the contractor to put things right. I would have liked Howdens to have acknowledged the issues faced and their overall impact.

UPDATE: absolutely no acknowledgement!
