Lovely products, great recommendations for fitters,

We had our whole kitchen ripped out, extended and built from scratch. The whole process of was made very easy by Howdens with Grace managing the plan from start to finish. Grace listened to our wants/needs and was there for us at every step of the process. I would recommend Howdens to everyone.

Just had our kitchen designed and supplied by Howdens Tyne Tunnel North Shields. Chris was fantastic from start to finish. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He provided us with an impressive design and checked in regularly throughout the process to make sure everything ran smoothly. Very happy with the look and quality of units and the completed kitchen. Would definitely recommend. Must also give a shout out to Dale Thompson who also made an amazing job of the installation.

I purchased my wardrobes from howdens; they supplied and recommended a great fitter. Grace, the designer I used, went the extra mile in designing double wardrobes that complemented the aged characteristics of my home.

The branch’s communication throughout the process was impeccable. I couldn’t fault them one bit!

We have spent nearly £30,000 on a Howdens Kitchen at their Tyne Tunnel branch.
We have saved for years to buy our dream kitchen and our dream has turned into a nightmare.
We have been forced to start legal proceedings against Howdens.
Their customer service approach to problems is to do their best to blame the customer.
It is difficult to put into words how upset and let down we feel.
We are stuck with a kitchen we cannot complete and a completely disinterested Howdens management at Tyne Tunnel.
They really could not care less. It is all left up to the customer to complain and to sue.
We will be setting up a website detailing what went wrong with our kitchen design, supply and installation. If only to prevent other people having the same dreadful experience.
We see other recent reviews of Howdens are saying the same thing. The customer service is nonexistent.

Used Howdens to design and supply our Utility Room. Initial appointment was great and design was good. Relatively competitive on price but you'll find cheaper alternatives. We found once we'd paid for kitchen the service and responsiveness dropped off a bit. We ended up having to chase our contact on additional products we needed (sink and tap) which weren't sorted at time of initial order.
We used one of their approved fitters on the designers recommendation. Sadly, the fitter went out of business half way through the job and we're now left trying to find a plumber, and kitchen fitter to finish it off, leaving us out of pocket and time. Proving very difficult to find someone to finish off someone else's work. Howden's have been virtually no use at all, short of sending us a list of other fitters and do not seem to care that their recommendation has put us in this position. They're leaning on the "we're supply only and the fitter isn't employed by us" - worth knowing that they will bear no reaponsibility on the fitting or any problems you might incur, even in desperate situations (pregnant wife and trying to sell the house). Interestingly we had a similar issue 2 years ago with one of their rival firms (also supply only) who rectified the issue at their cost, immediately. Will not use again and wouldn't recommend based on above

Bought a few replacement kitchen doors. Lady at counter very helpful and knowledgeable.
Got an estimate straight away, and staff loaded them into car no problem.
