Order delivered as arranged.The two items not available were delivered two days later and alterations we made were all available from stock or the following day so the whole experiance was as expected.
The plan work well and all the staff gave great service.

Fast service.and very polite and helpfull

Additional costs of hiring a crane was never discussed and was a last minute issues

Every time I come in, you seem to be more expensive than other establishments, I have to ask you to lower your prices, for example, my recent purchase, your price £13 wickes £9 and I get 10% off, thus becoming £8.10. However you sort of matched the price at £8.16. If you really was on the traders side I wouldn't need to ask for a reduction!!!!!!! Therefore, for me a rip off unless I ask, I shouldn't need to ask, you should be competitive.

Best quality and dealing good

I went to another branch and got the manager deal on some doors. I think all the special deals should be the same in every branch so that all your customers can pick up the materials from any branch as it's not convenient for everyone to get back to their own branch. I usually go to the West Bromwich branch to get kitchen design and they are very good especially Mark. He's always on the ball ready to help. Thanks Mark

Showed the assistant at the counter the exact kitchen i wanted like for like as display and bought, but when i was installing realised i had the wrong handles when i when back to change handles was asked to pay extra, but i had already quoted customer so did not have the budget, i asked for a discount as i believe this was not my fault and we should shear the cost but was refused anything more than my standard discount and had to pay for new handles.
Not happy with service at this branch at all.

Purchased a kitchen October 2021,
Paid up front in full as manager eager for us to pay before the end of the month. Told us prices might change?
Got to say our experience wasn't great.
Initial delivery was wrong colour and several items out of stock. Emailed but no response, we phoned and spoke to manager, he had seen our email. So he saw our message but didn't feel the need to respond? After several weeks and up to virtually the last few days of fitting - items were still being delivered. Invoice clearly showed what we ordered and paid for BUT had quite a few wrong quantities delivered which had to be returned. We were presented with a bill for around £1000 when kitchen was finished - we actually owed less than £100 for oven housing which wasn't on original quote ( wrong housing supplied but fitter modified it) - all other charges were for duplicate items delivered which we had to refuse or get picked up once we realised their error. Kitchen itself looks great, 9 months on and one of the end panels has split. I got in touch with Howdens but was told its fitters fault?
Out of probably 10 end panels one has a fault but Howdens blame fitter ( we disagree) We will purchase a replacement and also need to purchase more of the worktop for a breakfast bar. I emailed our branch 3 times requesting a price but haven't had a response,
Summary of our experience; The kitchen we purchased looks great, guarantee isn't brilliant as they won't replace a faulty end panel, and our experience of customer service is terrible! We are trying to spend more money but the branch isn't communicating with us? Obviously don't need our business/money.

Really awful still waiting for the other half of my kitchen which was supposed to be delivered Tuesday 22nd 2022 I've been promised it would be delivered since the 23rd

Job mr Paul man Howedens westbromwich could not be bothered to back to me with there price after asking my self on the phone by myself mr smith at smith & janes midlands Ltd mr Paul man wanted us to fit the kitchen Witch was a job at a cost of £30.000 and the job has been lost due to this there his major problems at west Bromwich Howdens thay just carnt be bothered with a lot of things regards david smith.

Great service called for a delivery for some skirting board said no problem tomorrow ok great service.

My Lamona dishwasher broke down after 16 months.

The warranty service offered on Lamona products is absolutely woeful and not of an acceptable level. Almost a 2 week wait for engineers, meaning if your faulty Lamona appliance requires a part, you could be waiting almost a month to get it fixed.

Anyway, I had a faulty part supplied meaning I had to wait longer for the repair. I was not prepared to wait and purchased a replacement dishwasher as there was no guarantee the replacement part would fix the problem.

I called the West Bromwich Howdens branch and asked if there was any further discount they could offer as a good will gesture. I was told ‘NO’ as it was my fault I chose not to wait for the warranty process to complete. I think this is very unfair - my appliance broke on the 25th Jan and I am supposed to wait until the 17th Feb for it to be repaired. I am now the best part of £350 out of pocket through no fault of my own. How silly of me to expect a warranty repair on a Lamona product to be completed in a reasonable time.

Shameful customer service and lack of ownership on Howden’s behalf. It would not of hurt them to give me an extra £50 off a new appliance as a good will gesture.

I will raise my case with the ombudsman as this poor level of service can’t be allowed to continue.

My advice, buy your kitchen appliances from someone else other than Howdens.
