Worst company to do business with. Bought a watch from the Manchester Arndale branch for £370.50. Returned the watch within the return window and in original packaging but for some reason they refused to issue me with refund. So they now have both the watch and my money. What a shame

Required a repair to an expensive piece of jewelry and a repair to a watch , great service from Amanda , great customer service and took time to process the whole order , very professional, with a smile 😊

Went in yesterday to have a look at rings as a gift for a partner, the staff was super helpful and patient and treated me respectfully. Gave me a few options and let me know about any sales with different rings, no rushing me about and with a welcoming attitude.

Shocking customer service!! Left my engagement ring to be sent off for an estimated repair 4 weeks ago. Heard nothing since 13th Aug when the app said my ring was at the workshop. Called into store 2 weeks ago for an update they said they would send workshop a message asking for an update. I’ve had to ring them again today 6th September to see what’s going on, to be given a load of excuses as to why I’ve still not had an estimate. They should be contacting me not me chasing them. Won’t ever use them again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone either.

Amanda assisted me ,she was kind and understanding of my mental health issues. The whole shopping experience was a pleasure and I bought what I needed and wanted.

Absolutely amazing. I took my daughter to H. Samuel in Ashton under Lyne and we were welcomed by Lisa who was kind and friendly, She is a very calm lady who was willing to help in any way she could and when we asked for recomendations where we could get my daughter's ears pierced for her tenth birthday. She informed us that they did ear piercings there. Lisa was good at helping her feel at ease about having her ears pierced and patient whilst she chose the earrings. She gave us all the equipment we needed for aftercare over the next 6 weeks. we made the right decision to choose H Samuel.

Went to H Samuel Ashton-under-Lyne. I bought my wife a locket and chain for a 50th wedding anniversary The original price was 499 GBP but it was down to 125 GBP in the sale. Extended credit would have been 48 GBP plus depending on cover period of 2 plus years but I had to decline thinking I would have a decent guarantee. My wife informed me on the 5th of July,(in other words about 2 weeks after had given it to her on the 23rd of June, our anniversary that the chain had snapped, one of the links are broken. I returned it a week later to 8 Samuel, still within 30 days. They sent it off to their supplier for repair however after a week we were told that supplier had examined it and found no manufacturing problem (of course that's in their own interest to say that, basically saying it is through rough treatment by us, I ask you! They want 49 pounds to repair our link.
It seems that if you want to guarantee against any defect of a Samuel product you need to buy extended warranty.
I'll not be shopping with them again

I went to my regular store as i buy alot from there. There were 2 member of staff and and they were so rude. I wanted to purchase a few items and they young man wasn't interested and was getting annoyed when I said I then wanted something else. He also didn't give me my change and when I called him back he had a good laugh with another member of staff. I will not be shopping here again. I was made to feel really uncomfortable and like i was a nuisance asking to be served.

Good advice, went to get a battery, was advised new battery may not fix the slow running, and if it did not fix the issue I could have the money spent knocked of a new watch. Went back the next week and bought a new watch and the manager matched the current internet offer so got a further £40 off, great service, knowledge and price.

I bought a watch which stopped working half an hour later, the staff were fab. They quickly rectified the issue, were really friendly, amicable and great knowledge on the subject.
Fast fix and I left happy with my purchase.

Excellent polite professional service, well laid out, displayed store making it easy to find what I wanted. Clear precise Covid Rules implemented and adhered too.

Nothing is too much trouble at the Ashton-under-Lyne store, went in to buy my wedding ring, and they where so helpful,
