Really nice helped with what I needed and got it done quick

My wife and I took her engagement ring into the Stevenage store to have it cleaned before our wedding. She'd had the ring for three years with no issues.

Three weeks after getting the ring cleaned all the stones fell out so she took it back to the store assuming something must have not gone right with the cleaning process. Lucky for us we were at home when the stones fell out else we would have never have found them.

When she took it back to the store they suggested she must have been pulling at the stones or catching them on something to pull them out. As if she'd pull the stones off her own engagement ring herself to only then go and get the ring repaired..

Really rude customer service in store, they've taken the ring away but have said that it will take them 4 weeks to evaluate what has gone wrong with the ring and there will be a cost associated with attaching the stones back on.

Not good enough, will not be using H Samuel again for ring cleaning and will avoid in future.

Bought a bracelet as a present and the clasp broke while putting it on contacted customer services who were less than helpful cost me a fortune to post back to them and I’m still waiting for a refund . Wrote a review on their website and just received a message saying it didn’t meet their requirements to publish !

Great customer service, very helpful and informative. Offered me advice on returns and also the importance of taking out insurance.

bought a watch in wales whilst away on holiday and over a week the watch was slow visited H.Samual Stevenage with receipt and was exchanged no quibble immediately brilliant service and very professional and friendly staff

The Manager was kind , helpful and efficient in assisting me with finding a suitable necklace chain for my necklace which was purchased in HS Samuels .

I bought an necklace & ear ring set for my wife, which she unfortunately did not like. When I went to return them I was told that I could not do so because there were ear rings in the set. I was never advised this when I bought the set & there are no notices in the shop stating this. When I said this, the shop manager told me it was common knowledge & that it was written on the bottom of the receipt. Well is wasn't common knowledge to a man who doesn't wear ear rings & who looks at the bottom of a receipt when they have just bought something. She said it was to do with hygiene, to which I replied that my wife hadn't even taken them out of the box, to which she replied she only had my word for that & couldn't trust me to be telling the truth.

Lovey, helpful staff

The 2 people helping me with my purchase listened to my needs and help me find the perfect silver chain for my father in law. Great work and knowledge involved. The 2 shop assistants were called shannon and Karen.

Polite and friendly service.
Was bought a lovely watch.
