Marika was very friendly and coherently explained skating moves in a really short timeframe. I'll definitely take more classes with her!

I didn’t skate for 2 years, and I’ve had a great session with Vitaliy to improve/ do my spins again

We attended Lee Valley Ice Rink on Sunday where my son attended the Ice Dance Workshop and Social Dance. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon out. The Workshop was taught by knowledgeable and friendly coaches. We will certainly attend these in the future.

I have a friend who is a coach in ice dance and he asked me to go with him to see what I think (I'm a figure skater), Honestly? The best thing I've done! We learned a few dances and techniques, then had the chance to try them out with different people at the social. The best thing is that there are people of all sorts of levels so no one is left out and it's great fun!

The coach was friendly and she knew how to explain the pattern dances very well. She dances beautifully.
I give 4 stars as it was ever so busy during the dance social that I couldn't dance properly.

Marika constantly challenges me to go beyond what I had thought I was capable of in skating, and is always really patient and kind.

Enjoyed the bridge classes with Vitaliy and the private lesson with Marika. Both are helpful, friendly and gave tips on elements I've been stuck on. Really easy to find availability and book online.

Two hours and 15 minutes thoroughly well spent on many different, enjoyable and challenging ice dance exercises both with and without an ice dance partner, and with a lovely group of skaters.
Felt like it was very productive and stretching throughout. Really enjoyed the Russian Stroking exercise at the end of the session to test stamina! Thank you

I spent a highly enjoyable extra hour on the rink at Lee Valley on 11 January in the open ice dance session. It was exhilarating to skate together in a group of around 15 on the rink, following Marika - who skates/dances like an angel - in a number of the elementary ice dances (none of which I knew). And a privilege to be on the ice with the skaters competing at national level. Wonderful!

I really enjoyed the session. A real mix of people of different ages, abilities and from all over the country! All really friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to the next one.

The ice skating lesson was fantastic, the coach (Marika) was very calm, patient, and knowledgeable. The rink is huge (the proper ice rink size for competitions) rather than tiny and overcrowded, the ice was perfectly smooth too, loved it!

My first private lesson with Vitaliy was great! He was correcting me and giving me advice about how to correct and improve my technique in different elements and in my spins. I will repeat and I highly recommend it!

My lessons with Vitaliy have been absolutely fantastic. As a complete beginner I was nervous about learning to skate later in life (I’m 27) but Vitaliy has been a brilliant coach! I can not recommend lessons with him highly enough!

The two excellent coaches at Ice Skating London have helped me realize my dreams in figure skating. They see the unique talent in each skater they work with and aim to foster that talent into real results. Aside from technical aspects, they also aim to make skating fun and each lesson is an enjoyable experience.

Marika is a fantastic coach who fully understands the needs and goals of her skaters of all levels and works to develop and prepare skaters to be able to achieve those goals. So grateful for all the help she has given me to progress my skating, would totally recommend!
