Fantastisch!

Jarenlang met veel genot gebruik gemaakt van SEE Electrical en SEE Electrical 3D. Het opzetten van het systeem vraagt om enig technisch vernuft en geduld (zoals bij elk van de gelijksoortige tekenpakketten geldt), maar de uitmuntende serviceafdeling heeft mij bij elke stap ondersteund. Uiteindelijk is het die tijdsinvestering dubbel en dwars waard.

De teken cursus sloot geheel niet aan


De teken cursus sloot geheel niet aan op wat mij verteld was.
Ik teken al jaren met het pakket en mij werd verteld dat de cursus dieper in zou gaan op de mogelijkheden waardoor ik sneller zou gaan tekenen. Dat viel erg tegen.
Bijvoorbeeld, als ZZPer heb ik geen voorraad op artikel nummer in mijn magazijn. Dus bijna een dag cursus over hoe artikelnummers toe te voegen in het schema voor de eigen voorraad heeft dus voor mij geen functie.
Het waren hierdoor financieel 2 zeer duren dagen.
Ik heb dit besproken met degene die mij de cursus verkocht heeft maar er kon
niets worden gecompenseerd.
Ik zal de jaarlijkse contributie volgend jaar maar stoppen. En dat vind ik jammer, ik betaal al 13 jaar.

Great product! User manuals and info are extremely poor :-(

Great product, I'm very happy I selected SEE Electrical.

Unfortunately, the available user manuals and reference materials are poor at best.

The SEE Electrical Training Manual is poorly organized and very poorly written, in my opinion:
- There is no Index!
- Who uses Roman Numeral outlining for technical documentation in the 21st Century???
-Where is a list of symbol text attributes, their usage and meaning?
-Where is a list of Block types. their usage and meaning?

There are many basic, fundamental aspects of the drawing (diagram) editor that are not explained, nor even mentioned as far as I can find.

I do understand that a user training course is offered, which purchase for this training I did not make.
Given however the poor quality of the user documentation, why would I expect the training to be significantly better or more helpful?

I am self-taught in use of an extremely broad range of industrial software (for CAD, for PLC programming, for databasing, etc.), so I am accustomed to exploration of and learning complex software tools.

At my company I am the only user.
As such I am happy with my selection of SEE Electrical for my electrical diagramming needs.
If there were more users within the company, I would recommend against purchasing SEE Electrical.

Again, in my opinion this is an excellent tool for anyone doing electrical automation system design.
I would be willing to participate in improvement of the user documentation to improve the SEE Electrical experience for everyone.

Addendum, 2023-12-13
After some time spent with the software, I continue to be very favorably impressed with the intelligence and power built into this tool.
I began drawing electrical diagrams on paper on a drawing-board, before CAD, and happily adopted "ACAD" (PC-based CAD) for creating control-system/automation diagrams when "ACAD" first appeared.

In my opinion, SEE Electrical is an advanced 21st-century tool which is to CAD what CAD is/was to paper drawings.

So I continue to be very happy I purchased SEE Electrical. It is a powerful tool which enhances my productivity and improves the quality of my electrical drawing projects.

The Youtube videos which provide SEE Electrical user instruction are more useful for me than the SEE Electrical user documentation.
I have located 56 of these videos so far.

I could not have been successful to learn SEE Electrical without these instructional videos.

Regardless, there are many essential details of the SEE Electrical work-flow which are not described in these videos and are not described in the SEE Electrical user documentation.
A software tool of this exceptional high quality needs and deserves much better documentation!

Miałem małe problemy ze zdobyciem hasła do katalogu symboli, ale ostatecznie okazało się, ÅŒe muszę bardziej zwracać uwagę na język strony na którym piszę.
See electrical jest czasami specyficzny w obsłudze i łatwo moÅŒe dojść do sytuacji, kiedy niepotrzebnie "walczy się" z aplikacją, ale niektóre funkcje jak np. automatyczny backup potrafią uratować ÅŒycie. Moja "relacja" z tą aplikacją jest pełna wzlotów i upadków. Ale zwykle udaje mi się wykonać to czego potrzebuje.
