Die Questa-Tools sind der wahre Albtraum. Teilweise muss man die Tools selbststÀndig modifizieren, damit es Ìberhaupt richtig funktioniert. Und wenn es dann funktioniert, verlangt es Lizenzen, die fÌr die genutzte Funktion gar nicht erforderlich wÀren. FÌr einen Milliarden-Konzern wie Intel ist es erbÀrmlich so eine unintuitive, teils fehlerhafte Software auf die Nutzer loszulassen und dann auch noch kostenpflichtige Versionen davon anzubieten. Das erlangen der Lizenz Ìber Self-Licensing ist ebenfalls katastrophal gelöst. SchÀmt Euch!

I love the way they release really new


I love the way they release really new processor quite frequently. They don't produce for the market, you know to report that they have introduced something brand new, but they really crete brand new things for different tasks. You can find fresh, cheap new processor for daily gaming, as well as you can buy expensive ones for more difficult tasks. A very versatile company at its core.

Extremely unprofessional experience


Extremely unprofessional experience with Intel's warranty. I can't imagine one of the biggest companies with a >200B$ Valuation has such poor processes.
They ask for personal information over a plain email, and then ask for credit card numbers over a phone call. It's 2023, this can all be done digitally. It just wastes time. As other reviews have said as well, too much information they asked for. I think it took 3 months from when we started to actually getting the cross ship started.

Eventually i got my waranty taken care


Eventually i got my waranty taken care of but man, did they make it so hard...Endless questions, serial numbers,dates,amounts,vendors...I had to find it all when an technologically advanced company knows who and when they sold it too yet they made it so hard since i purchased from a vendor as a guest and had to look for it thoroughly in my banking statements. a company like apple could have found that all out simply by your serial number so i honestly think they just make it hard so they dont have to own up to their warranty. the most expensive processor ever and lasted not even one year! this process took nearly a week after endless questions and pictures and repeated questions. thw employees i dealt with were pleasant and answered promptly, its just the whole return process!

Planned obsolescence and eWaste lovers

Don't buy one of their computers. As soon as they decided to make your model discontinued, they'll stop giving you even basic troubleshooting support.

They have firmly made their choice to be part of the eWaste and planned obsolescence community.

I have a Freeview box that's 2 decades old, and the copy still gives me troubleshooting support. They even replaced it 7 years ago for a like for like, for free. Be like that company. Intel won't even tell me why their 1gb ethernet driver didn't allow me to use my 1 gbps ethernet broadband. What a joke

The most useless compny in the world! When you buying a laptop, you can't choose what hardware do you want, it's preinstalled. In other case I will never opt for something made by this company. Even microsoft making drivers better then themselves for their own product! The support is same...

Help Northridge not just Johnstown schools

I can't believe this company has donated money to only Johnstown schools what about Northridge??? We kill ourselves raising money for this ran down school all we do is try.Did you forget Northridge is also in Johnstown???? This kids have old outdated sports equipment nothing is new Johnstown does great gets help what about the ran down schools??? Come on be fair have A heart or soul anything helps!!!!!

i bought the intel arc a770 16gb gpu

it had a hardware defect and the product got recalled - intel have not publicised this very well, at all

anyway, they were unable to provide a life for like replacement because they discontinued the product after a few months only, which i believe is partially due to the fact that the device had hardware defects during the manufacturing process that allow a users system to potentially be compromised

so, i now have an nvidia card because the one time i chose to give intel a chance, they didnt get it right

i wont be making the mistake of using intel again, for anything

Still the best processors

Still the best processors.
My work is related to the repair of computer equipment and Intel processors are still the best processors in the world. I'm giving it four stars because I don't agree with the company policy on everything.

Intel arc a 770 défaillante

Depuis le 25 décembre je rencontre un problÚme avec leur carte graphique Intel arc a 770 , j'ai ouvert un dossier pour la prise sous garantie. J'attends toujours leur appel ....
Service client déplorable 1h45 au téléphone en attente avant que l'on me raccroche au nez.

Processors...or amateurcessors?

Update

They recently wowed me. I had requested technical assistance from the manufacturer that is meant to oversee repairs to a couple of PCs in the house, with the machines still under warranty, and yet over two months remained in the same situation without resolution in the form of working computers. I then had the idea of approaching Intel (which produces the hardware) and within a few emails' correspondence, they had suggested a successful fix for what was looking to be a more serious fault.

No. I was right, originally. Still scapegoating, in the disguise of officiousness - neither of which, I like.

In terms of PCs turning into a furnace and breaking down: myth. My more recent experience of Intel processors is that they never get hot if only using them within this dimension; in games, though, possibly, and that is where all the advertising comes from, for and along with accompanying explanations about cooling-systems, etc...and unless you are one of these virtual diehards, pushing the hardware into galaxies never trod before, then it will probably never happen unless you do something to destroy your machine in a completely unrelated way.

Update

After a manufacturer sold a PC which was not configured properly and has been the source of unending problems, I emailed Intel who have been very helpful - they are professional in their attitude towards computer-users and which is demonstrated when approached about technical enquiries involving their own technology.

Intel makes CPUs which are the apex of technological innovation and discovery for the exceptionally fast and uninterrupted user-experience, bar one thing: the more powerful ones - Intel leaving the possibility up to individual PC-manufacturers and custom-build retailers - overheat.

When the company was questioned on this exact subject, the answer given was that their processors for when temperatures do climb are designed with an automatic shutdown facility.

TrÚs satisfait d'Intel

J'avais un problÚme de débits en écriture sur mon SSD Intel 760p. Intel a rapidement pris en charge mon SSD et me l'a remplacé sur le champ, sans blabla. Un tout neuf m'a été retourné, mais problÚme toujours présent ... Sans doute le SSD qui doit avoir des performances pas terribles à la base. Je continuerai à acheter du Intel pour leur sérieux et leur fiabilité !

Broken brand new computer and warranty is worthless

I bought a brand new (sealed in a box) Intel NUK 11th gen. I had to buy it privately becasue stock is hard to get in Israel and there is a wait. I get it to the office and the nvme socket is broken off the board, just nanging around inside the box. I confidently wrote to intel thinking their stated 3 year waranty would have me in a new computer in a jiffy. It has now been 3 days of exchanging messages with Ionut, who at first told me they would not honour the warranty becasue i could not prove I bough the device from a official disrtibutor, then told me that Intel has no stock of this item so all they can offer me is a RCP of $422.17 I dont know what this figure is but in Israel, where I am the cheapest device I can find in stock from their "official" distributor is over $600. I pointed out that all i want is a replacement or a refund of the amount it would take me to get a replacement and not a RPC from a different country.... but so far it has fallen on deaf ears, I have escallaed to surpervison now and will update you on the progress here. thus far it has been appaling experience and one which i did not expect from a global company like Intel.
