Ordered a backup bulb, got a surprise instead

Ordered a backup bulb, which was described as a "replacement" for a very specific model number, shown clearly on the purchase invoice. The bulb I received came in a generic, white box with no printing. The bulb itself has a P/N printed on it, but is a generic number without description. When I needed to use the backup bulb, I discovered that it was the wrong color, 3000K Cool White instead of 2700K Warm White, which again, is shown clearly on the purchase invoice. The ONLY way to tell the difference was to install the backup bulb to check it. I had placed two orders within 1 week of each other, and the second order had the problem. I replied to an email of an order confirmation about the problem, but apparently I replied to the 1st invoice email, containing the wrong order number. But after almost TWO MONTHS I had no reply. They COULD HAVE replied to the incorrect email, asking what the issue was, but didn't. AND my second order was not even in my Orders list on their website! So after finding the order# through the invoice email, I asked that they replace their mistaken shipment. The agent, after "checking with management" said basically that the bulb they sent IS a suitable replacement, and if I want a refund there is a restocking fee + shipping! I said that, no, it is not a suitable replacement, and is contradictory to the invoice, and that the shipping error is on their end. They then said that it's past their company 30-day return window. There is NO STATEMENT of that policy on their website or on the purchase invoice. So, as far as I can tell, they made it up. If you do end up ordering anything from them, even after all these BBB reviews, be sure to INSPECT AND CHECK every item immediately upon arrival. They are not a viable supplier for backups, as one has to check/inspect every item upon receipt. See BBB website, as well.

Got a different item than ordered, bad customer service

I bought a pair of 60 watt A15 bulbs as described on their web page. I received two 40 watt bulbs. Customer service told me I had to pay return shipping and a 25% restock fee. They also sent their return policy that stated pictures on their site might differ from the actual product. After I explained their worded description said 60 watt, not the picture, they sent a return label stating it was a one time accommodation. A previous shipment of two bulbs arrived, one worked, the other was broken. They again wanted me to pay return and restocking fees.
