I made the mistake of purchasing a ceiling fan from Jd Lighting in October. Unfortunately, it arrived faulty, and after several attempts to contact the company through emails (most of which were ignored), I had to take the matter to QCAT (Consumer Tribunal). After that, I finally received a response and was instructed to return the fan for a refund.
It’s now late January 2025, and I still haven’t received my refund. Despite multiple follow-up emails demanding my money back, Jd Lighting has continued to ignore me. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior and shows their lack of accountability.
I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this company. I am now planning to escalate my complaint to the Fraud and Tax Office to investigate their dodgy practices. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for reliable service and products.

Excellent quality
Excellent quality, great price, easy to install, and best of all, no speed wobbles or noise! Hubby is an electrician and has been installing these in homes recently and I'm so pleased we finally have one. I might even be brave enough to get one for the bedroom without worrying it was going to launch itself onto the bed while we sleep! Arrived well packaged and was pretty quick for a regional WA delivery too.
communication needs improvement
communication needs improvement. delivery was completed in 2 parts but not informed. also i had to chase for invoice for one fan out of 5 i had ordered.

When I opened the box the polystyrene rib had broken around the motor. It appears that the box had been placed on the end and shock movement had forced the motor so the rib support broke.

Quick and as described
No assistance for damaged goods
we received our order of two table lamps however both were damaged during shipping from Australia to NZ. We sent photos of damage to JD. They subsequently sent a return authorisation and advised to drop off at our local Woolworth Store. However Woolworths NZ is a pick up depot not a drop off depot. JD then advised they would contact the supplier Telbix and see if they could send us replacement parts for the damaged parts. The last correspondence was 6 November and now it's 2 December. Last emails have gone unanswered

Pretty helpful over the phone. Took a little while to dispatch but I did get it at a very good sale price. Have not fitted yet.
