Warehouse staff was very polite and helpful.

Would have been nice to know before I picked my order up.
They confirmed by email, 336 packs of an item and when we went to collect, we were only given 30 packs and told that is all that they have. What a wasted trip. We had also promised our client that we will get then the 336 packs by this afternoon, as promised. Their customer service is useless as well despite dealing with them for years.
We have been carefully finalizing the inventory lists for our initial order over the past month and a half, and last week, we successfully placed our first order with JJ Food. Unfortunately, we made an error on the order submission; however, our Account Manager, Neslihan, went above and beyond, dedicating her personal time to rectify the mistake for us. Neslihan is exceptionally hardworking, intelligent, and highly skilled at what she does. I cannot thank her enough for her immense patience and outstanding support throughout this process.

I had chosen a 6.30 to 10.30 time slot but even though they didn’t come until 12.15 it didn’t matter as the website kept updating with the revised time. Michael, the driver, was really friendly and helpful

They sell very high-quality products. However, the delivery drivers are very rude and cause problems. I only buy from them out of necessity because the products are of very high quality.

JJ Foods is not like it was before. I’ve been a customer of theirs for the last 31 years. The quality of food is getting worse day by day. There are so many products going down. For example, I ordered a spicy bean burger patty. There was absolutely nothing in there at all. The patty itself was very thin and very flat. I’m very disappointed to have ordered this item. JJ Foods should improve on their quality of food, like it was before

No point ordering online you still have to go and wait for them to get your order ready, even though I was first when they opened still took over 25 min to get the order out to me really pathetic service
Ordered a delivery. When we received the order the delivery driver did not give us a chance to check the order and left without letting us sign the paperwork.
Consequently we had an item missing for the value of £25.
When I called the customer service they took all my details but could not help. They then transferred me to another department which was closed.
I left a voice message at the tone but no one has got back to me.
I don't think they will refund me. Horrendous customer service.
We have been customers of this company for more than 10 years and never had any issues. We were absolutely happy with their services and products, but the last couple of weeks, things have gone completely wrong. Once, they did not accept my order; when I contacted them by phone, they sent me to other departments, but no one sorted the issue. Last week, they failed to deliver without any reason, leaving us with very low stock. We have to close our chip shop for two days as we couldn't get products from elsewhere over the weekend. I'm really disappointed because it seems we can't rely on this company anymore. We run the risk of having low stock during our busiest time."

Ordered a product for collection at their Enfield branch. Order confirmation came through as did a reminder to collect on the day. On arrival, we were simply told that the product was out of stock and that was that, not even an apology. It was so disappointing and frustrating. If they had told us in advance, it would have saved us the 2 hour round trip, cost of fuel and we could have ordered form elsewhere - terrible customer service. I won't order from them again as the order clearly can't be guaranteed.

I am a regular restaurant customer of JJ Food Service and have been purchasing from the Dagenham branch. Unfortunately, I have experienced a recurring and very frustrating issue with their service.
When ordering online early in the morning (for example at 7:30am), the earliest available collection slot is often 9:30am, which forces me to wait 2 hours. However, when I arrive at the branch, both the warehouse and collection area are completely empty, and there are no customers waiting. Despite this, there is no flexibility or willingness to assist with an earlier collection.
This creates an unnecessary delay and forces customers like myself to either wait excessively or purchase items elsewhere at higher cost. This issue has happened multiple times and has made me avoid the Dagenham branch whenever possible. Instead, I travel much further to the Enfield branch, where the service is more reliable.
What is disappointing is that JJ Food Service representatives frequently visit our restaurant to promote their products, yet when we need basic service and flexibility, it is not provided. This lack of practical customer support makes it very easy for JJ Food Service to lose loyal customers.
This is not a complex issue to fix, but it has unfortunately become a chronic service problem due to lack of attention and customer care.
I would also like to clarify that I am not writing this review to punish the company or to damage their reputation. I am also not leaving a negative rating out of frustration. My intention is simply to bring attention to a service issue that could be easily improved.
JJ Food Service is an important supplier for many restaurants like ours, and I hope this feedback reaches the right people. With better attention and flexibility at the branch level, the customer experience could be significantly improved. I genuinely hope this matter is taken seriously and resolved for the benefit of both the company and its loyal customers.

I am very disappointed with the quality of the halal beef and lamb minced meat I recently purchased from JJ Food Service.
The meat had a very strong, unpleasant smell as soon as it was opened, which immediately raised concerns about freshness. In addition, the quality was poor, with an excessive amount of white veins and fatty tissue throughout the mince. This made it difficult to use and not suitable for proper cooking.
As a regular customer, I expect much better quality control, especially when it comes to halal meat products. I hope this issue is taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve product quality in the future.

If there were an option for 0 stars i would leave it zero stars . Check your orders when you get them as i received a different thing . My husband had ordered 6 ducks labelled as halal and we received 6 ducks not halal a different brand that had nothing to do with the brand on the app . I made a mistake and didn’t check for the halal label i had already opened to cook two of the ducks when my husband checked the name and said that its not the same what i ordered. Iam extremely disappointed as they are not helping a total waste of money as i cant eat them . This is not acceptable please be careful when ordering from here check your products

Hi , I went to the Leeds branch to raise a complaint about a defective frozen product I received and the staff at the office were not at all helpful.
The customer service is non existent no answer when I tried to call.
Situation - I have taken a chicken shawarma 5kg from the Leeds branch , and when I went to my store and opened it the shape of the shawarma was deformed.
Informed the same to the front of office staff about this and their answer was to call the customer care ( which never picks up the call ) or email them.
I clearly informed them that it’s not the refund I am after but what’s the remedy if I get this situation going forward and I was told to request the delivery staff to open up every frozen product and check and then collect it.
Is this really a remedy a company of this size recommend.
No one is even ready to listen to the problem.
Very disappointing.
Update —
I got the product to the site but the employee refused to have a look at it. I requested of I can speak to a line manager or manger but no one was at the site is what I got as a reply.
I called the customer care and was online for at least an hour but no one literally no one attended the call.
Ok I will be opening each and every frozen product going forward and check if before collection as suggested.
