I was transfer money on 20 march still they not send to account when I was email and tell them where is money they tell in 2 days you will recived last 14 days they tell same

Do not fall into high rate traps. they keep your money for months and keep circling, 3-5 business days

I have made two transfers so far. The first transfer was completed within 5 business days. However, the second transfer, which I initiated on March 23, 2026, has not been completed yet and there has been no update.

I have contacted customer service multiple times, but they have not provided any ETA and have only mentioned that it is due to a technical issue.

I am unsure whom to escalate this to. Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.

Fraud app. Definitely something shady going on here. Started transfer on March 20th, money hasn't been delivered despite money being taken from source on 23rd March. Was told I would get a refund if it wasn't delivered in 3-5 days on April 7th after repeated follow ups. On April 13th asked for a refund and told there's no option for refund and money will be delivered. Useless customer service. Definitely some scam going on here and it's being reflected from all the negative reviews.

This app is not trustworthy at all.

Dont fall for the high exchange rate they are using your money for something and they will say its in progress for 1 month.

They are the scammers and cheaters. Don’t send money through this app. I not received my money yet today even after 21 days. No customer support or care numbers available.

Don't use this Abound money transfer by Times of India. This is a fake App, fraud and scammers. I transferred $2500 to India, they have given me 2 months mental tension and pressure . They won't have customer care number and fewer fake responses as in progress. After reaching BBB and other consumer forums they followed up to help resolve my issue. They transfer money through unethical ways and pass fake info in abound app, update their own saying that money credited to recipient after 2 to 3 days of transfer date. Provide you with unknown UTR's to track with your recipeint bank.

This app lures customers by displaying attractive rates but then your transactions are indefinitely delayed. If you try reaching out to their customer support, they would ghost you because they themselves can’t do anything. Please stay away from this platform. The good reviews you see are based on the gift cards they gave away for sharing screenshots of good reviews.

Abound looks attractive because of their higher exchange rates, but that is exactly how they trap customers. They know other remittance companies are 1 to 1.5 INR lower per dollar and they use that to lure people in. Once you send your money, you are stuck.

My transfer took 25 days. The money was deducted immediately, but after that there was no visibility, no proper tracking, and no accountability. For weeks, my money was just sitting somewhere with no clear answer on when it would be delivered.

The most concerning part is how the money is handled. The final credit did not come from Abound. It came from a random private company in India. Only after repeated follow ups did they say they had “assigned a banking partner”. This raises serious questions. Why is a third party involved after the transaction is initiated? Why is this not clearly explained upfront? Where is the money held during those 25 days?

Customer support is completely useless. No phone support, no chat, only email and they do not respond. I sent multiple emails over more than a week and got nothing. You are completely on your own once your money is debited.

This creates a lot of stress. You have no idea where your money is and no way to get answers.

Also, they do not support NRI accounts. You can only send to savings accounts in India, which is another red flag.

For comparison, other remittance companies complete transfers in a maximum of 7 working days and they communicate clearly if there is any delay. Abound does neither.

They attract you with better rates, delay your money for weeks, route it through unclear channels, and provide zero support.

If you care about your hard earned money and your peace of mind, do not use Abound. Choose a reliable and transparent remittance provider instead.

Complaint against Abound regarding two money transfers initiated on January 25, 2026. Despite more than 60 days passing, the following transactions have not been credited to my destination loan account in India.

Abound has marked these transactions as "Delivered" on Feb 26th in their system. However, the funds are not present in my recipient account. I have engaged in continuous follow-ups with their customer support team, but I have only received generic, automated responses that fail to address the missing funds or provide a definitive timeline for resolution. It appears the company is intentionally delaying the investigation.

I sent money to India over two months ago. While the app showed the transaction as “completed,” the funds never reached my account.

I’ve tried reaching out multiple times—through customer support emails and even Instagram—but there has been no clear resolution. Responses come at their convenience, with no defined SLA, no proper follow-up, and no accountability. There’s also no reliable customer care number to escalate urgent issues.

The entire experience has been frustrating and stressful. What initially looked attractive because of a good exchange rate turned into a long, uncertain wait with zero transparency.

I strongly advise others to be cautious. Do not be tempted by the exchange rate unless you are willing to wait for months and continuously chase their support team without any guarantee of resolution.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I started a money transfer to India back on 3/7/26, and it is STILL not completed. When things go wrong, there is absolutely no proper escalation process to get help or track down your money. In my 12+ years of sending money overseas, Abound is without a doubt the most incompetent. Do not trust them with your funds—stay completely away.

Abound money transfer app is a scam. Its been over a month I transfer funds from USA to India and its not been delivered yet however status says delivered. I have sent several emails and even tried to contact online chat support but no response. I am planning to file case with CFPB.Stay away guys its fraud.

Love the feeling of helping family and friends so easily.

Decent overall. JoinABound offers helpful resources, though some parts of the interface aren’t as intuitive as I expected. The advice I received was okay, but I think more clarity in instructions would improve the experience.
