We found our current rental property through Jordan Fishwick in Didsbury and the whole process was a breeze!! Alishea was so helpful and friendly and helped us find a gorgeous flat within our price range. We absolutely love it and our faith is restored in bigger letting agents after some pretty horrific past experiences. Thank you Alishea :-) x

I used Jordan Fishwick for letting my house in Didsbury. At all times they responded immediately either by phone or email which is important to me. They are knowledgeable, helpful and courteous at all times. Meghan is extremely efficient and has sorted out any potential problems with speed and competence. I will not hesitate to use this company again for future lettings.

LANDLORDS BEWARE. They treat tenants terribly but most importantly are NOT good property managers. They do not carry out end of tenancy cleaning/repairs (which you assume are done for the amount you pay them) and just hope the new tenant doesn't notice. If the new tenant does notice you are drawn in to battle with them as to who pays for what when these guys should have been sorting this to begin with. The property I was involved with had a bailiff threatening to knock the doors down for a tenant that had left years ago - no help and can only imagine who'd have footed the bill for new doors. I've been a tenant and a landlord for years, I wouldn't go near this bunch ever gain. Also - staff at DIRECTOR level are incapable of handling GDPR issues.

horrible experience with them, I was referred to their agent to take out first time buyer mortgage, would not be of any help to move things forward, simply made seller change his mind about the sale over the fact that we simply were not familiar how the purchase work even though we had the money and everything in place,

I have used the Wilmslow branch for both Buying and renting properties before, always receiving a highly professional Service, however my last transaction, a property sale, needs special mention. This transaction turned out to be both extremely complicated and extraordinarily long, taking many months to finally get over the line. Through the whole process Guy and his team, especially Richard, who went above and beyond to get the deal completed. Without him, I can honestly say, I'd have closed the whole transaction down. What a fantastic service and I can whole heartedly recommend them to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent a property in and around Wilmslow. A top notch company.

This company participates in Tenancy Application Fraud by knowingly making false statements in the tenancy application without the knowledge or consent of the landlord. As a matter of unequivocal fact, Jordan Fishwick and HomeLet UK made false statements by claiming an applicant had a landlord when he did not. Claiming an applicant was a private tenant when he was not and accepting the same NI and Payroll number for the applicant as was provided for the financial referee and accepting the same mobile number for the applicant as was taken for the fake landlord all for the purpose of processing a Fraudulent Tenancy Application.
This company also complied with instructions from HomeLet UK the referencing company who are supposed to be fighting Tenancy Application Fraud not to request proof of employment or proof of income from the applicant yet somehow an apparent payslip was uploaded to the Case Log when it did not even exist because a copy could not even be provided to the landlord after HomeLet UK said they gave it back to Jordan Fishwick while Jordan Fishwick insisted, they never received any payslip from the applicant. These two companies Jordan Fishwick are the facilitators of Tenancy application fraud and HomeLet UK were also complicit in accepting as the conditional proof of address an unauthorized NHS letter inviting the applicant to take part in a survey. When asked why this unauthorized document was accepted HomeLet and Jordan Fishwick said it was accepted because the applicant "didn't have anything else" so they did not refer it to their underwriters. So, there you have it, and this is just the tip of the iceberg to what these two agents did. The rental has since been severely damaged not to mention no rent has been paid for the last 6 months and because the tenant was allowed to make anticipatory breech of the AST by telling Jordan Fishwick and HomeLet that he planned to find a home in the Uk as well as abroad and this was not disclosed to the landlord, the Tenant hasn't been living in the property causing a pipe to burst causing tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage. Jordan Fishwick also tried to retrospectively change the terms the agreement (more fraud) to remove their obvious liability. The police are now involved because this tenant has apparently stolen furniture from the fully furnished rental. This case is going all the way to the civil and criminal courts and all those associated with protecting these fraudsters will be named and shamed in the process. If this is post is not genuine as it has previously been claimed, then I challenged Jordan Fishwick and HomeLet to sue me for defamation. I'll be taking a screenshot and copy of this post in case I have to repost it elsewhere.

Richard and team at JF Wilmslow did a great job for us from start to finish. We contacted them on a Tuesday, by Thursday the house was up on Rightmove with full description, floorplan and photos. By the following Monday we had a number of offers on or above the asking price. As the sale progressed (we were on a tight timescale) Richard continually liaised with the various parties involved and moved them along where necessary. We were appraised of the situation all through the process. There is no doubt we would not have made our deadline without Richard's expertise and continuing input,

We tried using an online agent before handing the reins to Tom and the team at JF Hale after our initial sale stalled. The difference was as stark as night & day, in our experience a good high street agent wins hands down given that 1) JF got the transaction over the line in double quick time, 2) JF achieved a better price, 3) Tom and the team followed up, chased and harried the process to completion - exactly what the online agents didn't do........ We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Tom and the team at Jordan Fishwick Hale to anyone looking for a professional estate agent that gets results.

My partner and I are in the process of buying a property through Jordan Fishwick. The agent, Tom, was extremely helpful in organising viewings speedily and at convenient times for us and communicating our offer to the seller. Throughout the process, Tom helped to move things forward, was clear and open, and was easy to contact. We are thankful to Tom and the Hale team and would recommend.

Although there were difficulties at times Jordan Fishwick and in particular Broghan Wilson sorted everything out very quickly for us as well as Lucy and Simon.. Full marks.

Inquiries about a property via Right-Move and was spammed with unsolicited marketing material from Jordan Fishwich.

Emailed to state that a prospective client must provide confirmation of their subscription before receiving marketing material, as outlined by the ICO.

Received blunt replies from the so-called director "Martin" that stated I agreed to Right Moves Terms of Use.

I agreed although this does not cover them obtaining and using my information for such purposes. Had Right-Move emailed me directly, this would not have been an issue.

Right Moves' terms of use clearly state that permission is not given to third-party companies to use this data for marketing purposes and site users have the option to opt-out of direct marketing.

Martin Refused to acknowledge their breach of GDPR, so I have escalated my complaint to the attention of the ICO.

I suggest they employ a compliance department to ensure they are adhering to data protection legislation.

Terrible agency! They were completely inflexible with viewing times and then cancelled our first viewing at a moment's notice. After re-scheduling a second viewing, they informed us (once again, at a moment's notice) that they had already let the property out. Will never be using them again!! I'm furious!

Horrendous service from the Manchester branch from Nick Wan. Nick on the call was extremely rude and unprofessional with a demeaning tone. I asked for some information regarding a property and the gentleman on the call was constantly insulting and insinuating that I could not afford the property, why would I enquire if I couldn’t afford it?!

Beware potential renters. On viewing a property, shown around by Debbie, she initially apologised for the state of the property explaining that the landlady was aware and that the property would be fully redecorated and professionally cleaned before I took possession. I moved into a house that had not been in any way decorated and I had to clean and clean, including cleaning the previous tenant's excrement from the toilet. Additionally the property was advertised as unfurnished but I was made to accept and store several items belonging to the owner.

On trying to resolve issues later in the tenancy (not managed by Jordan Fishwick but by the owner), Debbie sided with the landlord and said that the condition of the house was perfectly acceptable.

So beware that when you are viewing, especially if you are a first time renter in a desperate position as I was, the estate agents will say anything to get the property let.

At the end of my tenancy, still getting emails from Jordan Fishwick about viewings, I wrote a very polite email to Debbie to explain I was no longer in residence - I got a very curt reply with no word of thanks.

Very poor customer service with Debbie all round although every dealing I had with Jordan in the same team was very good (he just didn't really have anything much to do with my tenancy)

I have read all the experiences regarding maintenance of properties (none existent) the reason being is probably because Jordan Fishwick are terrible at paying contractors for any work they have done. So after speaking to many contractors, they tend to stay away from doing any work for Jordan Fishwick.

The Manchester branch of Jordan Fishwick deserve a special 5* review. I rented my flat in Manchester with them 2 years ago, and since having a bad experience with my previous agency, they have changed my opinion on estate agents! So professional, very affordable, would highly recommend. (Can't speak for any other Jordan Fishwick branches as I only have a property listed with the Manchester branch). Thank you to the team there, they make my life so much easier and less stressful.
