Disappointed with K12
I used to be proud of my kids being part of K12 but that is no longer the experience. Some teachers no longer make the effort to teach, the ridiculous amount of pressure that is placed on these kids to meet 4pm deadlines with back to back classes (up to 8) then being told that it’s the student’s responsibility to meet them is crazy. My child has had a mental breakdown because of the amount of pressure, I contacted the school and no assistance was provided, instead I was told by the principal that my child needed to do better. Now I’m being told that my child may be automatically withdrawn because we will be out of the country for 5 days. The advertisement that states you can travel freely without worrying is a lie! K12 do better and be transparent that your school doesn’t allow students to travel, you are no longer offer flexibility like you state. I will be withdrawing my children and I encourage everyone to do more research before enrolling because “flexibility “ doesn’t mean travel and teachers are no longer helpful.

Terrible school
Terrible school. The school is very behind with their curriculum for example my 10th grader is doing 8th grade work. The "flexible schedule" is not true you're kids are in their 8am-2:30pm and the teachers their are just disrespectful 1/10 don't recommend.

The changes ruined this schooling program.
We have been with CAVA K12 for three years now...this was truly an amazing learning experience and program... key word "was". This year they changed the software and it's horrible. Nothing ever works so many kids are falling behind. They should have never made the change to canvas.
