The school is great. I love it

Great school for students who need someone with them all the time.

The teachers are very patient with their students.They play games with them, they let them express how they feel before and after class. They're just awesome and im glad my kids got a chance to meet some wonderful people

LAVCA offers a streamlined application process and quality education.

My experience at LAVCA was great. I really liked how they give us independence and how flexible the schedules can be. I also my teachers, as they are genuinely good at their jobs and help me learn. My questions also are answered well and they help me with any confusion.

I dislike the fact that there is one testing site in Baton Rouge, and parents are forced to go to an unsafe area. We have no choice but to drive nearly an hour away from our home.

We have been a part of lavca for 2 years now , it has been amazing ! My sons grades are amazing as always hes eager to learn , where in brick in mortar he struggled. The teachers are the best I've seen in a long time . They honestly truly care for the kids make sure they understand the material amd are always reachable for any help we may need . The other kids get get to bind woth are some of thr greatest friendliest as well.

We are loving it

I loved this school until we started the third grade. The math teachers terrible and will fail your child and not respond to emails in a timely manner to help your child complete task on time then give them an F. Also the school itself is not set up for special needs families. For instance. My 10 month old has had 10 heart surgeries with tons of follow up appointments but because his brother has to travel with us due to doctors being 2-3 hours away the doctors excuses were not accepted because he was not the patient. So they expect you to leave a 8 year old at home all day to go to school while you have to travel for serious medical conditions. I offered to send all medical documents to the school so they would understand the severity of his appointments and they told me to bring the laptop with me for appointments. But who has WiFi in a car for 2 hours or more? They are the worst and have no compassion what so ever

Has made my son’s learning experience and education journey not only fulfilling and enriching, but tolerable since he’s able to have a quiet environment to do so. Staff and teachers are all amazing and helpful.

The teacher that are committed to helping us and our children, and I love the communication. Besides the student working from the comfort of their own home, the teacher still make it an effort to have one on one time with our kids and always willing to go the extra mile to help them

Our experience has been amazing from the administration to teachers, communication with parents is wonderful. Glad the platform got an update, the new system for k12 is so much easier to navigate.
