My son came from a public school who never cared for my child like this place has embraced him! It feels like family, and they truly care about his well being. The teachers are amazing and the support staff for IEPs and such are just fantastic! Well done, Middle school, and more years to come!! Thank you so much!

My child had a difficult time learning through the public school environment. They have been successful in the OHVA setting with no distractions or intimidation from other students. The staff is consistent with keeping us informed about assignments and extra assistance when needed.

Canvas is very difficult to use. Seeking another school option. This has been the worse year for my kids

The online school environment has been the best option for my son. The teachers and staff are helpful and care about the students.

it is great because it makes things easier for others that has disabilities or phobias and they work with you my son has had a alot of medical stuff go on and his dad since he was diagnosed with congestive heart failer

Learning on my level and achieving my goals

Excellent online school my grandson has been there since kindergarten and he’s a senior graduating 2026 top 5% of his graduating class and has received the governors merit scholarship and is 21 hours from his associates degree in engineering. OHVA is there to help students make them feel welcome no matter what. Teachers are very pleasant with the student’s the counselor’s your advisors are outstanding in helping students especially knowing what their goals are and helping them achieve them so thank you very much for everything. You’ve done class of 2026 strong.

Okay honestly I was skeptical with online schooling but once we did it I knew we made the right choice. It is literally night and day between online school and in person school. The teachers are magnificent, they provide you with everything you need to succeed. We have our second child graduating this and have been with the school since COVID. The staff are always willing to help, the special education area goes above and beyond to help your child if there is a learning disability or IEP involved. Cannot say enough about how much we all have fallen in love with K12.

My son loves being at school online Everything is moving in more advanced ways and computers and technology will be a golden gate of knowledge for him with also in high effect is the more focused area when alone without distraction and needless interrupted learning process. Now this one on one learning is enabling him to be secure with going back in case he missed anything. Consecutively repeating or going over things will also make him remember things better and then subsequently picking up skills that will be needed in the real world. School is based on what a kid has and the competition of others. While here online his environment is solely an individual process and I think this is the best way for my son to also stay safe and not be a part of any measures that cause him the inabilityto succeedi n the environment of social standards. In otherwards other childrenmay not have the best manners However, online all that pressure is eliminated. . It has more. It teaches more and it will elevate my son because the program is set up for them to succeed. Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Absolutely love how much the teachers are willing to go above and beyond to help the students and the way they explain makes it so much easier for them to understand..I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a school that has your child's needs a priority and willing to help no matter what...

We have used OHVA going on our 3rd year and it’s been absolutely amazing! They provide amazing quality education alongside different counseling programs and plenty of outings! It’s been a blessing.

My grandson is on the spectrum and the staff deals well with him

Great communication from most teachers. The only reason I can’t give it a 5 is due to the limited in person events that take place after hours. Most if not all in my area took place during the work day and not in the evening or weekends when working parents could participate.
Also having prom on a Friday night in Columbus was a little difficult to get my kid 2 hours away after working all day.

We have a great experience in Ohio Virtual academy the teachers are very helpful and will guide you through.

My daughter has been with OHVA for 5 years, she has soared academically and with all her learning. Very pleased and impressed with the learning still taught with OHVA - I feel like a lot of important information and classes have been taken out of public schools. OHVA makes me fell at ease that she is getting the knowledge she needs to succeed
