It was good but there's too little classes and the teachers are nice.

The teacher’s responses are very slow and sometimes after 6 months takes to get some important matters ) e.g students accommodation for external test)

I know teachers are part time it seems but students are not getting right help on their needs

I Loved it it was beautiful. Spectacular. Amazing.

The new launch pad is easily navigable and easy for students and coaches

This year was a more difficult b/c the entire site was updated/new....Fortunately the teachers were all supportive and great to work with so that helped.

The one thing I dont like is that teachers are not prompt to put in their assignments ready to go Monday morning at 8:00. They will slowly plug them around 9:30, 11:00, and sometimes even til 2 or 3pm. This is frustrating. There should be a requirement that it be ready to go by 8:00 and they get written up if missed continuously. I have communicated with them and I get an apology and some no response.

Our overall experience with TOPS has been wonderful. We have been with TOPS for the last 10 years. Teachers have worked well for my student and with my student since early on.
Navigating the site has worked well in the past years. That has changed, but still it was doable. Teacher responses this year seemed very slow.
We expected to receive books the beginning of the year but there were none. Even though we have experience changes, we have no regrets and enjoyed a peaceful, well balanced, and encouraging school experience.

The lack of communication and support i have been trying to reach out and speak to someone about my son's STAAR exam but have not been able it is frustrating. Everything is done online yet sometimes you need to speak to an actual human.

My son loves k-12 and the live class’s we would like to get more involved with extra groups outside of the classroom. But right now it’s just not working out with my work schedule. But we enjoy all the extra activities and what k-12 has to offer. Career and college prep was amazing for my daughter she got a good scholarship and is currently in her 2 year making a 4.0 gpa. Thanks to all the amazing teachers that have inspired and taught her through her high school years. School with k-12 has been the best educational program for my child. We can’t say thank you enough to all the wonderful staff and teachers who support all of k-12 programs.

So far in my daughter academy journey with TOP it was an excellent! Her comprehension, and statistic has really improved.

One day kids are passing the next I get a failingnotice only to have a teacher say the system is messed up. I don’t know what happened between last year and this year but needs to be fixed accurately.

I am over all extremely grateful for all the opportunities I have received from TOPS as I approach the end of my second year at the high school. My major disappointment is in the change of the operating system. I still can not pull-up my graduation plan, like I could before the system change. D2L was perfect. I am also disappointed in the GT program, I wrote my teacher who is also not the original teacher when this class started this year multiple times he has a PhD and he had never responded to me this entire semester. However, last year, my first year at the high school I had the absolute positively most incredible GT teacher and my project turned out very very well, and she was extremely pleased at what I created. This year GT has left me lost and confused. Additionally, I wish that TOPS would make sure that each one of their top 5 students, had at least three full ride scholarships options waiting, so we can focus on academics continuously. I absolutely positively love my honors algebra two teachers she is the ultimate professional, and I am so excited that she will be taking over the national honor Society program next semester. I love my Principal Mrs Crow and Assistant Principal Mr Johnson for the support they have provided me!

Love this school

My daughter loves her schedule, her teachers and has been able to qualify for early graduation. I always recommend TOPS to families considering online learning

Texas Online Preparatory School has my kids on the go. Teacher's are always on task making sure my kids or on track. Always replying back to emails ASAP. I really love this school.

Knowing that my kids can learn in a safe environment, the teachers are great and communicate well with the students and parents. We love online school!

Wonderful teachers! Flexible schedules and professional special education resources make this education system even better! My sons graduated from TOPS and now, my granddaughter is learning so much. Highly recommend!
