he was respectful on the phone and in person. i forget his name but he has a higher voice, thick accent, light eyes (maybe blue?), and sagged jeans. i told the person on the phone 3 times i have a for two smart car. $120 for the key fob replacement and they were responsive by texts which i was thankful for but my whole day was wasted thinking they knew the car i had. i think they said 420 car? not too sure but it wasnât a smart car. when i was asking if he could do it for the same price that he had told me originally, he didnât even let me finish my sentence and declined.

I ordered there service the caller said it would be an hour before a locksmith could get out there, waited almost 2 hours before the locksmith called and said he was on the way it would be about 45 min for him to arrive. The caller nor the locksmith gave a price. The locksmith arrived and preformed the service and proceeded to tell me it was $238. I asked why it was so much because the call was placed well before 10pm. Locksmith told me they don't charge for time they charge for experience. I told him if I knew it would be $238 I would have called Pop-A-Lock who only charges a flat rate of $80. VERY unhappy with the service and would not recommend to anyone. This business is a scam.
BEWARE - SCAM
BEWARE - SCAM! This company is a total scam. You may call them to request a locksmith because you locked yourself out of your residence only for them to scam you! They will act friendly and tell you not to worry, then proceed to get you to pay for the service ($250 in my case) and wait for a phone call from the locksmith. Youâll never receive a phone call and then they will either tell you that there isnât a locksmith available in your area or pressure you to cancel for $80!

Locked keys in my car
Locked keys in my car. They totaled a price of 180+ dollars to get a locksmith to me and wouldn't take cash. Said they only do it online or over the phone with visa or debit/credit cards. I called the next locksmith, it's now 60 dollars and they in my area. Keyme wanted payment but wasn't even in my area. Keyme is running some kind of scam.

So my car was locked and it was in the mall parking lot. Y'all already know mall parking lot is huge. I know the locksmith using iphone so thats why I send a drop pin location which gives the exact location even when you're in a big parking lot. Dude didn't click in maps just took out what the mall's name and drove to it. And of course map will take you to another location. I had to guide him through and describe where i was at. Dude said give him a minute, and called back with the "screaming attitude." I said let me walk to ya and instead of staying there, he drove to the restaurant near by, and force me to walk a long way to him without telling me where he at. He said "you're wasting my time, just tell me where you are", "i'm leaving, you are wasting my time", I sent him a picture of my view, he replied "i don't want a picture." Long story short, I found him and took him to my car. He gave us a rip off price ($275, the range is $50-$100). My dad said so expensive, he was screaming angry towards my dad "WHATTTT" after negotiating with him end up price is $200, still feel like rip off, my dad doesn't want to and need time to think, he was rushing us and telling us that we're wasting his time, while its only been 15 minutes, he started angry towards us and threatening to call the police, we were like "call, just call the police" He doesn't dare and still screaming like a c*****. Finally we just gave him $75 (service fees) to let him go because he's annoying. $75 with that attitude is not worth it! Screaming only is not helpful and tells the customer that they're wasting his time is infinitely negative points! KEYME, train your locksmith better :)!

No Refunds/ No Customer Service
I cancelled an order less than 8 hrs after placing. After posting I received notice someone would respond in 48 hrs. Which allowed the key to be cut before a response to my cancellation request. These keys are 4-5 times the original cost and no refunds are available and no one to talk to about complaints. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Mavericks House Key for My Girlfriend
I ordered a custom house key with a Dallas Mavericks design (my girlfriendâs favorite team) last week. I didnât receive an email confirmation like I was supposed to, so I was a bit concerned. After waiting a bit, I reached out to customer service, & they informed me there was a delay. They were kind enough to issue a refund & even provided a discount code in case I wanted to reorder. Funny enough, just a few minutes later, the key arrived in the mail! The customer service was excellent, and Erica, in particular, was so sweet and helpful. Thank you so much!
Worst service ever
Worst service ever. I am not one to really rate business because I do not have the time. So to do this is really big. If I could give them a negative I would give a negative 100. This is so bad that I have decided to report them to all governing bodies. BBB, Consumer fraud, etc. I called for services on Oct 10, 2024. And they sent a locksmith out and he cut the key incorrectly you can clearly see that the keys do not match. They do not want to refund my money or send someone who knows how to cut keys to recut the key. They guy who serviced me number is 630.331.3637 Itay...so if you get him call another service. He said he was coming to recut and never showed up. Now he is off and says talk to the company. I have called and spoken to over 30 people to get a refund. They either say they cant hear you or they hang up, or they transfer you to a dispatcher, how can he assist ð€ with a refund. If any one else has experinced bad service...please report them asap.
Outrageous pricing
The tech that came out was timely and professional, and was able to unlock my car for me in less than 30 seconds! It was a simple job, keys locked inside of car. It was around lunchtime and I only had to wait about 30 minutes for him to show up. He was great. BUT THE SERVICE COST $250. TO USE A PLASTIC ARM TO PULL THE LOCK OPEN IN A LOCKED CAR. HE DIDNâT NEED TO CREATE A REPLACEMENT KEY, HE JUST UNLOCKED THE DOOR. FOR $250.

I had a troubling experience with this locksmith service that I feel compelled to share to warn others. My son was in a bind and needed help unlocking his car. When the technician arrived, he quoted a price of $150 plus a small service fee. However, once the job was done, the price ballooned to an outrageous $600! When my son expressed his shock, the technician quickly lowered it to $400, which left him feeling cornered and unsure of what to do.
Feeling frustrated, I reached out to the company to discuss the situation. Despite my polite demeanor, I was met with unprofessionalism and even hung up on multiple times. Eventually, after persistent inquiries, they offered to refund $200 via Zelle. However, that refund has never materialized. I've never encountered a legitimate company that issues refunds via Zelle which only adds to the feeling that something is off here.
Overall, my experience was nothing short of a scam. I urge anyone in need of locksmith services to look elsewhere. This company is shady, and their pricing practices are deceptive. Save yourself the headache and call a reputable locksmith instead!
THEY ARE A RIP OFF COMPANY!
Location Knoxville, Tennessee. On Wednesday, I am a caregiver, and my client's two file cabinets were locked and there wasn't a key. I found this locksmith business online and called them to come out and open these file cabinets which she needs access to. A young man that was dispatched came to the house and went to the file cabinets and got them unlocked in less than 3 minutes. He didn't come in immediately because he was too busy checking in on his puppy he had with him in the van. Typical of Generation Z behavior showing his impatience and lack of professionalism. He didn't quote us prices until after the job was done. He charged over $200 for a very basic job. My client was FURIOUS! She doesn't use credit cards and deals only in cash which on a fixed income didn't have the whole amount to pay. He acted impatiently saying he had another job to do. I paid the difference. The price was way TOO HIGH for the job and he only opened them and did not fix the problem of them relocking themselves. When she closed them yesterday they wouldn't open after he had done the job and had left them open. She closed them after that and they won't open back up. So, advice STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE UNETHICAL! He could have taken a lesser price and refused to do so. BEWARE!!!! RIP OFF!!!!!

I want to start this from the beginning of what happened over the course of 5 days.
We needed a puck master lock removed from our HVAC system. My boyfriend was trying to get the lock off for a bit but figured it would only cost around $50-$100 to get it removed by a lock smith. He called KeyMe located in Cincinnati. They NEVER said how much it was going to cost. Keep that in mind. The locksmith came here at 7:24pm and left at 8:03. It only took him around 30 mins to drill into the lock and remove it. We never got it replaced by him. That was the only service we received. HE CHARGED MY BOYFRIEND $400!!! I find that so outrageous.
The following day I go out to my car and there is a huge red scratch along the side of my car. Come to find out the locksmiths mini van was RED.
I called the KeyMe customer service to find out if maybe his car had any damage because I think its a reasonable request. They could easily check his car. They said that they canât do that. Not sure why. Since then I have called over 20 times. I have been hung up on every single time. I have asked for the manager every time and they transfer me to someone who is NOT a manager. At this point im pissed and just want my boyfriend to get his $400 back. I filed a police report about my car since the KeyMe locksmith wonât check his car and tell me. I also filed a complaint with the BBB. I now just want to sue! I have never in my life received this bad of customer service. Ive been ignored over and over. They said they would call me back countless times and they never do.
They proceeded to call us and gaslight us saying they have no middle eastern people who work for them and the locksmith was driving a white van. We have him on camera in his RED mini van. Its absolutely insane! They also insinuated I was racist for saying he was middle eastern or indian. They asked me what he looked like!!!! I responded and said he has brown skin and dark hair. How else do you describe how someone looks? Probably best to state what their ethnicity is? Not a racist thing to say. I hate this company so much. We just want a refund. At this point I just want the refund because I hate them so much.
