Efter jeg afleverede en lejet bil hos KeyGoRent i Alicante fik jeg at vide at jeg ville få mit depositum tilbage efter et par dage. Efter godt et år har jeg stadig ikke fået pengene. Man kan ikke ringe eller skrive en mail til dem, men kun kontakte dem via en online hotline. Her siger de bare at sagen er afsluttet. Tyveri ved højlys dag!!

Absolutely awful experience with Keygo — avoid at all costs.

At checkout, they falsely accused me of damaging the car, even though the damage was already there when I picked it up. I had clear photographic evidence to prove this, but they completely dismissed it and refused to take any responsibility.

Instead of handling the situation professionally, their staff became argumentative and uncooperative. To make things worse, they threatened to withhold my deposit unless I paid for damage I did not cause. This feels extremely dishonest and borderline like a scam.

I’ve never experienced such poor customer service. They clearly don’t care about fairness or their customers, only about taking your money. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay far away from Keygo.

Wir haben bei Key & Go in Alicante ein Auto gemietet und alles hat perfekt funktioniert. Die Abholung lief über einen Automatenkiosk, bei dem aber auch ein Mitarbeiter vor Ort war, der bei Bedarf hilft. Dadurch ging alles sehr schnell und unkompliziert.

Auch die Rückgabe des Autos verlief völlig problemlos und die Kaution wurde ohne Schwierigkeiten zurückerstattet.

Besonders positiv überrascht waren wir, dass wir sogar ein deutlich besseres Auto bekommen haben als ursprünglich gebucht.

Insgesamt eine sehr reibungslose und angenehme Erfahrung – ich würde jederzeit wieder bei Key & Go mieten.

Worst experience ever! Warning, do not use. They refused to deliver a car because the airline tickets did not match the exact dates of the car rental. I needed to rent the car again directly with the company and paid double rent. They refer to fine print which was not communicated in advance. Unserious company. Appearing to change name to Sicily By Car.

Siamo andati ad agosto dell’anno scorso ad alicante ed eravamo in 14 tra ragazzi e ragazze. Dopo aver cercare recensioni ovunque di quali potessero essere i noleggi più affidabili, abbiamo provato questo. Esperienza super positiva, come leggerete anche in giro l’assicurazione bisogna farla assolutamente per non avere problemi dopo. Inoltre appena ritirati i mezzi (un pulmino e un’auto), ci siamo accorti che una ruota del pulmino era bucata. Abbiamo chiamato l’ufficio e ci hanno subito sostituito il mezzo senza costi aggiuntivi. Alla riconsegna dei mezzi tutto filato liscio. Inoltre ê comodo perché dall’aeroporto ogni 10 minuti c’è la loro navetta che porta avanti e indietro le persone fino al loro noleggio. Consiglio a tutti.

I had an amazing experience with them. Very easy booking and set up even though I didn’t come perfectly prepared. Car was in great condition and the handover was as easy as the set up. Had a very nice gentleman who helped me, sadly forgot his name as it was in January and I forgot to write this review! But better late then never.

Havde anmeldt ankomst for afhentning, men skulle alligevel ringe og rykke for afhentning i lufthavnen efter godt 30 minutter.
Man forsøgte at sælge ekstra forsikring, vejhjælp og benzinopfyldning - gud hjælpe mig om jeg ikke ved afleveringen så skulle fremvise kvittering for optankning indenfor en radius af 3 kilometer! - Fik i samme forbindelse at vide, at der ikke var mange tankstationer i området, så det ville nok være svært ....!
Jeg bad om at vi gennemgik bilen inden afgang. Det var man ikke interesseret i! Jeg så nogle skrammer på venstre "bagdel" og gik tilbage om oplyste om dette. Det var man opmærksom på, og jeg fik lov at se i deres digitale log på bilen, at det var registreret (gad vide om den log også fandtes når jeg afleverede bilen - derfor optog jeg en video af hele bilens stand).
Ved aflevering efter 4 uger uden uheld OG med opfyldning af benzintank indenfor angivne radius (det var slet ikke svært) gennemgik vi afregningen i forhold til oprindeligt aftalte. Der var en difference på ca 30 Euro i vores favør. Dette anerkendte selskabets repræsentant med en oplysning om fejl i deres systemer. Beløbet ville vi modtage på vores kreditkort i løbet af få dage. Efter 1½ måned og tre rykkere pr mail er dette beløb ikke modtaget - ja, besvarelse af mine mails er helle ikke modtaget.
Konklusionen må være, at man skal holde sig langt væk fra dette foretagende, hvis man ikke skal ødelægge begyndelsen og afslutningen på sin ferie!!!

We had a very positive experience with this car rental company. I booked the car over the phone, and the customer service was excellent from the very beginning. The representative was extremely helpful and service-minded, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a better price than the one listed online — with insurance included.

We picked up the car at midnight without any additional charge, which was greatly appreciated. The staff member who welcomed us was very friendly and professional. Since we were traveling with small children, we were even upgraded to a larger car at no extra cost, which made our trip much more comfortable.

The pickup process was quick and smooth, the car was spotless and in perfect condition, and we experienced no issues whatsoever. Returning the car was just as easy and hassle-free.

Overall, we are very satisfied and would definitely use this company again. Highly recommended!

De auto was heel proper en tiptop in orde maar het in- en uitchecken lieten toch een bittere smaak achter. Het huurbedrag is heel laag, maar zoals bij wel meer autoverhuurbedrijven komt de uiteindelijke prijs toch een stuk hoger uit. Ik kreeg de keuze uit een waarborg van 1500€ ter plekke met kredietkaart te reserveren (wel achteraf terugstortbaar) of 225€ meteen te betalen en dan maar een waarborg van 35€. Mijn kredietkaart liet dat bedrag niet toe, dus zat ik vast aan de duurdere optie. Ze proberen je ook een duurder model aan te praten, en ook nog bij het terugbrengen van de auto het bijtanken door hen te laten doen aan een vaste prijs of zelf vol te tanken binnen een straal van vijf kilometer. Lijstje met tankstations geven ze je uiteraard niet mee. Het is bij de hele check-in kwestie van voet bij stuk te houden. De man die ons bediende vond het bij het terugbrengen ook belachelijk dat we nog foto's aan het maken waren. Geen fijne ervaring!

Ik had via doyouspain geboekt en ze hebben me opgelicht door dubbel af te schrijven. Zeer triest dit.

Esperienza pessima. Al momento della riconsegna, l'addetto ha effettuato un controllo eccessivamente zelante, arrivando a passare le dita all'interno dei cerchioni. Mi è stato contestato un graffio talmente lieve da risultare invisibile in qualsiasi foto o video documentativo standard fatto al momento del ritiro. È oggettivamente impossibile tutelarsi di fronte a contestazioni di questo tipo, poiché i danni segnalati non sono rilevabili tramite i normali controlli visivi suggeriti ai clienti. Prestate molta attenzione.

Absolutley disgusting customer care.
Lost money, no apology and pure robbery just becuase I had not flown in to Alicante on the same day. This requirement is not on the website, but hidden within the small print.
BE CAREFUL, or simply STAY AWAY.

Avoid. It feels like we were scammed. The agency did everything it could to pick a fight and finally refused to give us a car. We remember not seeing any cars in our category when we came in. They may have overbooked or preferred to give the car to someone who was willing to pay their overpriced insurance. I see some other reviews mentioning similar experiances.

The shuttle did not arrive at the scheduled pickup time. When we called, they said they would send it again, but it drove past very quickly and my husband had to run after it and stop it. The driver said she didn’t stop because she didn’t hear us, which was surprising given the closed windows and loud music.

At the office, we were treated impatiently and asked to sign that we were responsible for the car despite having insurance. When the agent tried to place a hold on the wrong credit card, my husband muttered something to himself out of frustration. The agent claimed he cursed her (which even her colleague said was not the case) and refused to give us the car.

We had to arrange another rental at the last minute, which cost us extra money, time, and a lot of frustration.

We later saw many recent reviews describing similar experiences and wish we had seen them before.

Muy buena experiencia

I have just been scammed by this company, having used car hire in Alicante for the last 20 years this is definitely the worst car hire company. We hired a car for 3 days & took a video prior to leaving and they have now charged us €482 for damage that was previously there. The girl first said there was damage on the under area of the bumper which was impossible to see, then proceeded to list 2 other areas. Please do not use this company!
