Premium Price, Terrible Product Quality

So much for the so called “American quality”. What a joke.

I ordered a pair of Klipsch The Sevens speakers exactly one year ago. Around €1000. And they are already dead.
When I contacted customer service, instead of actual support I received a lazy generic reply pointing me to a basic FAQ page and essentially telling me to figure it out myself. It felt like dealing with one of those early 2000s companies that simply didn’t care about their customers. Unsurprisingly, none of the suggested fixes worked.

If you want to position yourselves as a premium brand built on craftsmanship or heritage, then at the very least you should guarantee one of two things: outstanding product quality or proper after sales service.
That’s the bare minimum.

Otherwise, let’s call things what they are. 100% scam

Absolutely disgusted

**Purchased brand‑new earbuds from Klipsch and the experience has been awful.**
The buds would not pair properly right out of the box, and the battery drained at lightning speed even when they were sitting in the case. I spent hours troubleshooting with customer support and got absolutely nowhere. For the price I paid, this level of quality and service is unacceptable. Very disappointed.

Do not buy a Klipsch unless you want to spend more time troubleshooting than actually using.

I bought a brand new cinema 1200 system for ~ $1000. As soon as it came it never worked right and I reached out to support right away. They sent all kinds of troubleshooting articles. None of them worked. When I asked for a replacement they told me I was out of the 30 day window even though I reached out prior to the refund window initially. Absolute waste of money, support does nothing to help other than send troubleshooting articles that don’t solve the problem.

I’d have to spend over an hour unplugging and troubleshooting every single time I wanted to watch tv or listen to music. Now it won’t play anything no matter what I do. Support is asking me to send diagnostics which I have tried several times but can’t connect to the device or when I do, the app fails to send diagnostics.

Heel mooie speakers

2 sets gekocht; de Fives en the Nines en ik ben super tevreden.
Ik hou van het “klipsch-geluid” en de Nines zijn echte klipsch
! Heerlijk geluid, makkelijk aanbrengen sluiten en alles werkt!

De Fives hebben wat meer aandacht nodig als je de app wilt gebruiken, en krijg ik niet voor elkaar. De helpdesk reageerde heel snel, alleen was het antwoord gelijk aan de website en werkt helaas niet. Dus ze spelen, maar zonder de apps
Geluid is wel veel beter dan het formaat doet vermoeden!!

Jammer dat de covers van de Fives niet verkrijgbaar zijn op the Nines

Update on previous review

Update on previous review. I recommended a set of Klipsch Nines powered speakers. They arrived, and to put it short, they put a huge smile on everyone's face. They were fantastic! But, 5 months in they stopped working. Contacted customer service, downloaded firmware, and reloaded into speakers. They worked only 5 minutes. Contacted customer service again, and this time they shipped out a brand new set, along with prepaid return shipping for the old ones, all under warranty. No better service than that!

It is best to contact support/service via e-mail as phone service is difficult. But once that started, everything went swiftly and smoothly.

Klipsch, you can bank on my future business.

Horrible experience

I am the owner of a Klipsch THX home theater speaker system. The system consists of five speakers, and two passive subwoofers. The five speakers are driven by a Marantz receiver, and the two subs are driven by a dedicated Klipsch subwoofer, being model number SA-1000. Approximately six weeks ago the subwoofer stopped working. I contacted the Klipsch customer service and was informed that I should try installing a 15 amp slow-blow 5x20 mm fuse to see if that would resolve the problem. The customer service representative that I spoke to at Klipsch, whose name I shall not provide (to protect the guilty), told me the fuse was readily available and I ordered from Amazon a pack of eight fuses for approximately $8.00. When I attempted to install the fuse on the back of the amplifier, per the instructions of the customer representative, there was no place to install the fuse. My neighbor did a little research, which took about two minutes, and determined that the fuse was inside the cavity of the amplifier. I certainly did not want to disassemble the amplifier to install the fuse!

After this took place, I made a second call to customer service and advised them of the above. I was informed that I needed to provide customer service with my proof of purchase, my full name, shipping address, and the fifteen digit serial number on the back of the amplifier. I took to this task the following day, and the information/documentation was provided to Klipsch, via email. Approximately a week later I called back and the Klipsch representative I spoke to informed me that my email had been forwarded to the Design Team for review, and I should await further instructions. Approximately two weeks later I called back again, and was told it was still with the Design Team, and they were waiting for a response. I called back a third time, explained my extreme frustration why this matter was not being resolved in a timely fashion, and the customer representative told me there were only two people working in the Design Team department, and they would get back to me once they had a chance to review the documents/information I previously provided in my earlier email. The following day I received a response informing me what I already knew, that the amplifier was out of warranty (it carried a two year warranty, and my phone call took place approximately three years after the date of purchase), and they provided me with a name of a Klipsch authorized service center for the repair. The authorized service center is located in Clackamas, Oregon. I certainly do not want to ship off my amplifier to the West coast (when I reside in Ohio) only to encounter similar frustrations as noted above in the repair and return of my product to my residence.

This entire process took approximately six weeks. If any of the readers out there own a home theater system with subwoofers, they know how important it is to have the subwoofers/base compliment the rest of the speakers to truly enjoy this system. Watching a movie without subs is like listening to am radio! If anybody who reads this critique of my experience with my experience with Klipsch service is considering Klipsch as a source for the purchase of their speakers or accessories, I would urge you to consider my experience and the poor quality of customer service that I experienced. I am not going to take my amplifier to a Kilpsch authorized service center, but instead I will deal with a reliable local source.

Shame on you Kilpsch for treating your customers like you do, especially when one considers I purchased fifteen thousand three hundred fourteen dollars and 95/100 ($15,314.95) for your speaker products!

We bought a Cinema 800 Soundbar and


We bought a Cinema 800 Soundbar and woofer for ~800.00.

It worked fine for about 6 months, then it stopped outputting sound from the TV (from the BBB site this is a common issue).

Tech support ran me in circles having me try to troubleshoot, which I had already spent hours doing.

After wasting further time they told me to take it in. So I did. The retailer/repair people found nothing wrong and told me to come and get it.

It does not work, Klipsch has stopped responding and I am left with an 800 total loss. It is literally going in the trash.

Lousy product, Lousy support, Lousy company.

What a disappointment for my T5 TWS II

What a disappointment for my T5 TWS II. Terrible sound, no bass, even after working the equaliser in the app. The quality of the sound is very poor. My cheap JBL earbuds are 10x better!!!! How is this possible for a company like Klipsch with this history and quality speakers to create such a terrible piece of technology.

Achat d'un caisson basse r120sw pour


Achat d'un caisson basse r120sw pour une utilisation occasionnelle. Au bout de deux ans et demi la carte électronique lâche. J'ai donc une magnifique caisse avec un haut parleur de 30cm neuf qui ne sert plus à rien. Les possibilité de réparation sont à plus de 200€ sans garantie du résultat.
Klipsch à fuir en tout cas plus jamais pour moi.

Disgusting company

The band on my expensive Klipsch headphones broke because they are made of the cheapest possible materials. When I called customer support to try to get it fixed or replaced, they refused to help me because I didn't have the receipt. These people are criminals and I will never be buying another Klipsch product.

Klipsch no longer user friendly!

I have had my Klipsh 'The One' receiver speaker for about a year and it is...WAS great. Today I tried to connect my Android which always worked and got 3 questions. I agreed to two but on location checked approximate. Can't get it off the page tried to change to exact but it referred me to help mode. I described problem and could either connect with tech on line ($1) or tech ($5)!
No need fir MY credit card info for THEIR issue! Could be a scam! Calling their number same was told to call back later.
They just went from A to F with me!

eArc issue with new soundbar

My experience relates to customer services. Following an issue with my new soundbar, there bottom line was to take it up with the shop I bought it from. Other customer services I've used have offered to have a look the product themselves and/or sorted out the postage for returns.

Terrible warranty support

in Canada speaker amp stopped working on the SPL-150 15” Powered Subwoofer Nov 2023, was told by support it was covered and will send new amp in about 2 1/2 weeks
after a month of not hearing back I contacted again
and was told the part was back ordered now would be sometime in March 2024. Worried when I check back in March will get the run around, Ive contacted klipsch.com was told they cant do anythng as its a Canadain issue

Great customer support!

Last year, I bought a Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX computer speaker. Recently, it began to have issues with the right channel, which I traced back to the control pod.

Since I was still within the warranty period, I contacted Klipsch support through their website to file a warranty claim. They promptly responded to the email I submitted with the claim, requesting proof of purchase and some personal information. Unbeknownst to me, the seller on Amazon from whom I had purchased the product was not an authorized Klipsch seller. Therefore, I was not actually entitled to the warranty.

However, the customer support representative I was in conctact with, informed me of this detail but still went ahead and sent me a replacement control pod. I received the part without issues, and it resolved my problem. Of course, they mentioned that they wouldn't be able to honor the warranty again due to the issue with the unauthorized seller, which I completely understand.

Overall, it was a great experience with customer support. I can't complain. The dedication this company shows towards their products and customers is commendable. I was surprised when I came to Trustpilot to write a review and saw the number of negative reviews. Perhaps I was just lucky.

We received this cinema 800 sound bar has a gift last year. We have had nothing but problems with it. We have to unplug it every time we turn the tv on and the sound is super high went it decides
to come on. We had done the software up grade and it still doesn’t work. Their customer service sucks. Our sound bar is less than a year old and they won’t do anything about it I am helping and saving your money don’t buy this trash! We have been unhappy it was a waste of money

I was really looking forward to my new


I was really looking forward to my new Klipsch speakers. What arrived, however, was a box with one of the three speaker set I ordered and paid full price for, and a damaged unit. When I tried to contact customer service, they filed a claim with Fedex and want me to send the damaged unit back on my own dime. So I DID, and they said they didn't get it, and I'm out $349. I am floored.

Mauvaise qualité

Bonjour,
J'ai acheté un caisson de basses Klipsch R-100-SW le 16/03/2021 chez Darty. 30 mois plus tard, plus de son, la carte "amplificateur" morte .. et bien sur, peu aprÚs la garantie. AprÚs démontage, impossible de dépanner quoi-que-ce soit, les composant sont enduits d'une pâte blanche .. pour cacher les références ? En tout cas, sur les forums, Klipsch en prends pour son grade sur ses caissons. Par souci d'éco-responsabilité, je vais remplacer la carte par une autre, bien sûr d'une autre marque (Dayton Audio). Mais il va falloir retailler le caisson car les dimensions ne sont pas les mêmes et la carte vaut 50% du prix du caisson. Heureusement que je n'ai pas pris le haut de gamme de chez Klipsch qui semble souffrir des mêmes ennuis ..
Dommage car le produit me satisfaisait beaucoup du point de vue sonore.

Customer Service A+

I bought a pair of F-300's and one of the tweeters wasn't working properly (cut in and out). I e-mailed Klipsch and attached a .wav file. Bradley at Klipsch responded asking for more info (where, when who, serial # etc). Once I gave all the info he forwarded it to his warranty dept. who are sending me a new tweeter.
This took 1 day. Excellent customer service!
