Knives For Chefs レビュー 

Really positive experience. Firstly, they had stock of a hard to find knife by a legend of a craftsmen. Secondly, despite not having an especially polished automated post sale flow, they were extremely responsive to a needy buyer (son's 21st b'day present) with out of hours email replies. Thirdly, I was warmed to learn that at least one of the guys (Josh) was a jobbing chef. Makes me understand the idea for the business came from a good place. In a nutshell, asked a few questions Wednesday, ordered Thursday am, it was shipped Thursday pm and out for delivery Friday. Looked after throughout, can't ask for more than that.

Ordered a Yoshikane Gyoto, these are almost impossible to get in the UK. Delivery was the next day by DHL. James the owner was very happy to help. They seem to be able to source kinves nobody else can get there hands on.

Ordered on the 3rd, now is the 9th, claimed they were moving office so that's fair but after initial contact in regards to tracking(finally), was told would send out on the Thursday for Friday. Friday after working I was sent tracking and won't receive till Monday so having to miss 2 day of work unplanned due to bad organisation or neglect.

I was looking to buy a very sharp, high-quality knife for work and decided on the Shibata Koutetsu R2 Migaki Gyuto 240mm. It was quite hard to find in the UK, but I came across Knives for Chefs and I’m so glad I did.

The service was absolutely amazing. I spoke with James via WhatsApp—he was extremely helpful and responded very quickly. He even sharpened the knife before dispatching it, and I received it today in perfect condition.

As a chef and restaurant owner, I highly recommend Knives for Chefs. I’ll definitely be purchasing all my knives and accessories from them in the future.

Before buying, I spoke with James—his guidance, deep industry knowledge, and passion for the craft were incredible. He helped me choose pieces both for our team and as thoughtful gifts. Updated - refund received, 10/10 English communication
I received my refund - countless emails, nearly 2 months but this was due to DHL refusing to refund in full, then issues with his Shopify refund process.
He did respond within a few days every email. He told me when DHL refunded, and when he encountered Shopify issues. The fault lies with DHL offering 1/4th refund, and KnivesForChefs shouldn't have had to reject/escalate that. He did though, and then secured a full refund.

Also - seller was from England and spoke English, so it was easy to communicate with him and he understood what I was saying/the issues. Have had this issue before through eBay/Amazon about 6 times, and it's pretty much pointless even raising anything as every seller seems to not understand English or even be able to contact the shipping company, so I just lose money and have come to accept that if something is misdelivered, I'm the one that loses out. So, I am happy to have purchased from a British company, regardless of the DHL and Shopify issues. Communication was logical, polite and accurate.

Great advice from James for a household knife. Once you start a collection this expertise is invaluable. I fully recommend to buy from this company. The prices are keen and the stock well selected. Definitely will purchase again.

I came across a knife I wanted that was stocked by Knives for Chefs, but as I'd never heard of them, I decided to look them up. There was no reviews on TrustPilot, but I took the plunge anyway.

Delivery was very fast and the products were exactly as I expected. Fantastic service, e-mails on order status came promptly. I would definitely buy from them again and fully recommend them.
